Abstract

This research is about the process of knowing children's language acquisition at the age of 5 years. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze children's language acquisition either through interaction with parents or the surrounding environment. This research uses qualitative research methods because this research presents research results based on facts, namely by direct observation. The data obtained is the result of research using direct observation techniques with children and interviews with the children's parents. This research indicates that children have difficulty pronouncing Consonant letters such as R. Parents and the environment around children are important factors that influence children's language development. The interaction between children and their parents and their environment clearly has an influence on how children acquire language

Abstract

The development of translation technology, whether through machines or humans, has created a new paradigm in cross-language information exchange. This research aims to carry out a comparative analysis between translation results produced by machine translation systems and human translations. The method used in this research is qualitative in a comprehensive literature review aimed at understanding the latest developments in translation technology, with a particular focus on comparing machine and human translation. The data collection technique is through a literature review system from the study of scientific articles and data analysis using a qualitative approach. The results show that comparisons between machine and human translation involve careful assessment of each method's accuracy, consistency, and flexibility. While machine translation excels in speed and consistency, human translation provides advantages in terms of depth of accuracy and greater flexibility. The results of this research will provide a valuable contribution to further understanding of the role of technology in the translation industry and its implications for the use of translation in various communication contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode diskusi menggunakan aplikasi zoom dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia di MTS Madrasah Al-Hikmah Kelurahan Pabatu,Kecamatan Padang Hulu. Zoom adalah tempat untuk belajar tatap muka online dalam bentuk perangkat lunak atau aplikasi (Vhalery et al., 2021). Sejalan dengan itu (Pakpahan & Fitriani, 2020) menyatakan Zoom adalah video yang menggunakan aplikasi komunikasi gratis atau berbayar siapa yang bisa berbagi layar. . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah partisipan siswa kelas VII MTS Madrasah Al-Hikmah Kleurahan Pabatu, dengan jumlah kelas sebanyak 1 dan jumlah siswa adalah 35 siswa. Berdasarkan table diatas berate bahwa penerapan metode diskusi menggunakan aplikasi zoom cukup berhasil karena berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas control berada pada kategori baik dan sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan penggunaan preposisi dalam teks deskriptif yang ditulis oleh siswa EFL (English as a Foreign Language). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan studi kontrastif untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan, memahami penyebabnya, dan memberikan strategi yang dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran preposisi dalam konteks pengajaran EFL. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan preposisi paling sering terjadi pada pemilihan preposisi, penghilangan, dan penambahan preposisi yang tidak diperlukan. Penyebab utama kesalahan tersebut adalah kurangnya pemahaman terhadap fungsi dan konteks preposisi dalam bahasa Inggris. Dengan penerapan strategi yang tepat dalam pemilihan preposisi dalam teks deskriptif dalam pengajaran EFL untuk mengurangi kesalahan preposisi, seperti mengidentifikasi kesalahan, memberikan latihan, dan penjelasan melalui pembelajaran konstruktif.

Abstract

Kekerasan verbal guru terhadap siswa telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam konteks pendidikan, karena dapat memiliki dampak yang merugikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak kekerasan verbal guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah menengah pertama, serta untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor penengah yang memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner motivasi belajar, wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, serta observasi di kelas. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menjadi korban kekerasan verbal cenderung mengalami penurunan motivasi belajar, minat terhadap pelajaran, dan kepercayaan diri dalam konteks akademis. Faktor-faktor penengah seperti dukungan sosial dan kualitas hubungan guru-siswa juga memainkan peran dalam mengurangi dampak negatif kekerasan verbal. Kesimpulannya, temuan ini menekankan pentingnya tindakan preventif dan intervensi yang efektif untuk mencegah dan mengatasi kekerasan verbal di sekolah, serta pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan memotivasi bagi perkembangan siswa.
