Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi efektivitas penggunaan teknologi media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan penggunaan observasi dan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Pendekatan kualitatif dipilih untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pengalaman dan pandangan guru serta siswa terkait penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa langkah. Pertama, melalui tahap observasi, peneliti secara aktif mengamati dan mencatat bagaimana teknologi media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi diterapkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2. Interaksi antara guru dan siswa, serta respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran ini, menjadi fokus utama pengamatan. Kedua, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa dilakukan untuk mendapatkan perspektif lebih lanjut tentang pengalaman dan pandangan mereka terkait penggunaan teknologi media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi. Berdasarkan analisis data, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Kabupaten Gorontalo. Melalui media pembelajaran ini, guru dapat menyajikan materi pembelajaran dengan cara yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, yang secara langsung memikat minat dan perhatian siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi juga meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk belajar dan berbicara dalam bahasa Arab. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam penerapan teknologi media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi, terutama terkait keterbatasan infrastruktur dan akses teknologi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2.

Abstract

The main role of the Arabic matriculation program is to prepare new students who have diverse educational backgrounds, so that their basic Arabic language skills can be equalized. The purpose of this study is to understand how the organizational management of the Arabic language matriculation program at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo's Arabic Language Education Study Program. This research applies qualitative method. The data collection process was conducted through interview techniques and documentation recording. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out with stages: 1) reducing data, 2) presenting data, and 3) drawing conclusions or verifying, from this study it can be concluded that the Arabic matriculation program has succeeded in equalizing the basic Arabic language skills for new students by measuring initial abilities, selecting appropriate teaching materials, class division, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this research are delegation of authority in this program is listed in the decision letter issued by the study program, complete with the duties and authority of each individual. Decision-making is based on deliberation between the study program and the management of the student association. Span of control is maintained through regular meetings, reporting, and effective communication between all relevant parties. The organizational structure involving the Study Program, the Department Student Association, the head of the language division, and tutors has a clear role in organizing and implementing the program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know (1) the application of the experiential learning model toimprove the speaking skill of student class X MBI Amanatul Ummah; (2) the effectiveness ofexperiential learning model for improving the speaking skill of student class X MBI AmanatulUmmah. This research uses quantitative approach with type of experiment. In this research, therewere two groups, the experimental group and control group. The research instrument consists ofobservation, interview and test (pre-test and post-test). The result of this research are: (1) theapplication of experiential learning model to improve the speaking skill of students class X MBIAmanatul Ummah namely with four concrete steps are in accordance with the theory at the coreof learning. The four steps are: (a) concrete experience; (b) reflective observation; (c) abstractconceptualitation; (d) active experimentation. In this research, reseacher used direct andgrammatical tarjamah methods. (2) this experiential learning model proved to be quite effectivein improving speaking skill of student class X at MBI Amanatul Ummah with an N-Gain value of56,5% which means that it has been categorized as quite effective.

Abstract

Abstract To improve the Arabic vocabulary mastery of elementary school students, an effective teaching method is needed. One method that can be used is the Tamyiz method, which involves grouping words based on certain concepts or themes. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Tamyiz method on the Arabic vocabulary mastery of students at SDI Al-Azhar Samarinda. The research method used was quantitative research with a total sampling technique on all fifth-grade students at SDI Al-Azhar Samarinda. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the application of the Tamyiz method and the Arabic vocabulary mastery of students, with a moderate correlation level and a coefficient of determination of 29.8%. Therefore, it can be concluded that maximizing the use of the Tamyiz method can have a positive effect on the Arabic vocabulary mastery of elementary school students. The Tamyiz method helps students organize vocabulary based on certain concepts or themes, making it easier for them to remember and connect new vocabulary with existing ones. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the use of the Tamyiz method so that students can continue to practice mastering Arabic vocabulary. Keywords: Effect, Arabic Vocabulary, Tamyiz Method Abstrak Untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa SD, diperlukan metode pengajaran yang efektif. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah metode Tamyiz, yaitu metode pengelompokkan kata berdasarkan konsep atau tema tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode Tamyiz terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa di SDI Al-Azhar Samarinda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik total sampling terhadap seluruh siswa kelas V di SDI Al-Azhar Samarinda. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penerapan metode Tamyiz dengan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa, dengan tingkat korelasi sedang dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 29,8%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa memaksimalkan penggunaan metode Tamyiz dapat memberikan efek positif pada penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa SD. Metode Tamyiz membantu siswa dalam mengorganisasi kosakata berdasarkan konsep atau tema tertentu, sehingga mempermudah siswa dalam mengingat dan menghubungkan kosakata baru dengan yang sudah ada. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengoptimalan kembali penggunaan metode Tamyiz agar siswa dapat terus berlatih dalam penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to uncover the meaning of the words human and jinn as well as the relation of meaning between the words human and jinn mentioned in the Qur'an. The words human and jinn are repeatedly mentioned in the Qur'an and are often found side by side. Of course, there is a connection of meaning between the two. The purpose of uncovering the relation of the meanings of the words "human" and "jinn" in the Qur'an is to gain a deeper understanding of the concept, nature, role, and interaction between the two entities in the Islamic view. The meaning in question includes an understanding of the conceptual aspects, roles, interactions, and implications of the relationship between humans and jinns. In verses dealing with jinns and humans, several meanings are found including interactions and influences between humans and jinns, differences in nature, trials and disturbances from jinns, and jinns' obedience and partiality towards God and human.The method used is library research and uses a semantic approach, which includes data collection and analysis from relevant journals and articles. This research begins by defining semantic studies, then analyzing the meaning of the words human and jinn and the relationship of meaning between the words human and jinn in the Qur'an. The results showed that in the Qur'an, Allah mentions that humans and jinns are His creatures that have different forms, but there is a relationship between the two. For example, the Qur'an relates how Prophet Sulaiman's kingdom was built with the help of jinns. In addition, there was also an incident where a group of jinns came to listen to the Qur'an reading from the prophet Muhammad SAW. In the Qur'an, it is affirmed that there are Muslim jinns and infidel jinns. Muslim jinns are jinns who obey Allah's comhumands, while infidel jinns are jinns who disobey Allah's comhumands. Abstract

Research trends are an important indicator in evaluating the extent to which a field of science has developed, especially in Arabic language skills. It is necessary to know the extent to which previous researchers have studied these skills with various types of methods, approaches, models, instruments, and how much similar research has been carried out. Therefore, this study aims to investigate research trends in Arabic language skills in Indonesian academic literature, with a focus on articles published in accredited journals of SINTA (Science and Technology Index) during the 2018-2022 period. The research method used is SLR (Systematic Literature Review), which is used as a framework for identifying, collecting and reviewing literature. Data will be collected from SINTA accredited journals which contain articles about Arabic language skills totaling 62 journals with 377 articles. This research uses descriptive bibliometric analysis to identify research trends, dominant topics, and Indonesia's contribution to Arabic language skills academic literature. This research has revealed that a lot of research on Arabic language skills carried out in 2021, which is dominant with research on speaking skill, while the type of research used is dominated by quantitative experiments and qualitative case studies, with instruments of interview, observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation being many choices for researchers with descriptive qualitative analysis as well as descriptive statistical analysis. Most research locus are found at junior high school, high school and university levels, while research topics are more directed towards a particular method in Arabic language skills.

Abstract

Background:  The importance of foreign language skills in the face of an increasingly connected era of globalization and increasing demand for learning Arabic as an official language in more than 20 countries. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the need to learn Arabic as a foreign language in the context of higher education. Method: The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys and interviews with active students of Arabic learning programs and lecturers who teach Arabic. Results and Discussion: The results showed that students have an academic goal to master Islamic religious texts and a professional goal to increase career opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region. Students' motivations for learning Arabic include religious, cultural, and professional factors. Challenges students face in learning Arabic include the complexity of Arabic grammar and writing systems, lack of opportunities for language practice outside the classroom, and limited learning resources. Lecturers recognize the importance of focusing on developing Arabic communication skills and supporting language practice outside the classroom through social activities. Conclusions and Implications: The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of developing Arabic learning programs that integrate the language in a variety of communication contexts, improve access to learning resources, create inclusive and innovative learning environments, and provide support in Arabic practice outside the classroom. The implications of this research are expected to increase the effectiveness of Arabic language learning in higher education environments so that students can develop Arabic language skills and understanding of Arabic culture more comprehensively and relevantly in facing the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the suitability of the Arabic language textbook for the eleventh grade, issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in its first edition in 2020, to determine whether the prescribed book aligns with the criteria of a textbook according to the theory of Ali Muhammad Al-Qasimy in developing teaching components for Arabic language instruction for non-native speakers. This textbook is selected because its implementation is still relatively new, and there are ongoing issues, such as using highly advanced reading texts. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and the desk research method. A content analysis technique was employed to analyze the data. Primary data were collected by documenting content from the "Arabic Language Textbook for the Eleventh Grade" and teacher interviews. Secondary data were collected through documentation from relevant literary sources. The results showed that this book falls into the category of suitable teaching materials for Madrasah Aliyah students in Indonesia based on Al-Qasimy theory in developing teaching material components. First, the basic materials of the textbook consist of: a) reading texts (reading) in the form of dialogue, b) Arabic language leaders, c) exercises, and d) dictionaries. Second, the textbook auxiliary materials comprise: a) dictionaries, b) the books of the tamarin, c) the book of the horoscope, d) the evaluation/test book, e) the teacher's guidebook, and f) visual teaching aids.

Abstract

Acquiring Arabic as a second language is a complex process influenced by various factors. In this literature review, we explore the factors that affect the acquisition of Arabic as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective. We highlight three main factors, namely motivation, language factors, and social factors. Strong and sustained motivation plays a crucial role in motivating learners to diligently and consistently learn Arabic. A good understanding of the differences between the first language and Arabic is also found to be a significant factor, as this understanding helps learners overcome difficulties and develop a better grasp of the Arabic language. Additionally, social factors, such as interaction with native speakers and a supportive learning environment, provide valuable opportunities for learners to actively practice Arabic. This research has important implications for understanding Arabic as a second language. By understanding the factors that influence the acquisition of Arabic, more effective learning approaches can be developed. We provide suggestions to enhance learner motivation, consider first language factors in language learning, encourage social interaction, and integrate cultural contexts into Arabic language learning. The relevance of this research lies in its contribution to our understanding of the acquisition of Arabic as a second language and providing guidance to educators and learners in developing optimal learning strategies. Thus, it is expected that this article will provide valuable insights and contribute to the field of Arabic language acquisition as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective.
