Abstract

Community Service Activities or what are called International Real Work Lectures by Darussalam Gontor University students will be held in Malaysia, precisely at the Guidance Studio which the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Malaysia supervises. This activity will be carried out for 10 days starting from March 10 2024 to March 20 2024. This guidance studio was chosen as the location to apply KKN activities because it has students from Indonesia. KKN activities begin with assistance to hone the communication skills of the Guidance Studio children with speech training. Various learning methods and speech training are applied during KKN activities, including providing a pocketbook with a collection of speech texts to make the learning process easier for children. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in appropriate stages starting from planning, implementation and evaluation after the activity program takes place. Implementing the Communication Skill Upgrading Program is structured and adapted to the needs of the Guidance Studio. It is hoped that the results of this KKN activity will improve communication skills through speech training in three languages, namely Indonesian, English and Arabic.

Abstract

Dalam dunia yang semakin terhubung, perbedaan keyakinan bukan hanya menimbulkan tantangan dan konflik, tetapi juga dapat menjadi sumber kekayaan budaya dan perspektif baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeksripsikan jenis-jenis keyakinan yang terdapat dalam kehidupan manusia, Penyimpangan-penyimpangan Tauhid, serta Monoteisme dan Koreksi Islam Atas Keyakinan Non- Tauhid. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa literatur research. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu ¸Jenis-jenis/ragam keyakinan dalam kehidupan manusia meliputi; Animisme, Dinamisme, Politeisme dan Ateisme. Penyimpangan-penyimpangan Tauhid dalam masyarakat meliputi; Tauhid Ar-Rububiyyah, Tauhid Uluhiyyah dan Tauhid Al-Asma Wa Ash-Shifat. Adapun Monoteisme adalah ajaran yang meyakini bahwa Tuhan itu Esa, Satu, Tunggal. Adapun koreksi islam terhadap keyakinan-keyakinan non tauhid yang meliputi; 1) Allah, Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. 2) Islam yang paling benar, 3) Al Qur'an adalah kitab terakhir, 4) Taurat dan Injil telah dihapus oleh Al-Qur'an, 5) Nabi Muhammad adalah Penutup Para Nabi

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an Darul Muttaqien merupakan salah satu pusat pendidikan karakter religius bagi generasi saat ini, yang berlokasi di Desa Pijeran, Kecamatan Siman, Kabupaten Ponorogo. Keberadaan TPA Darul Muttaqien ini menjadi solusi bagi masyarakat desa, terutama bagi orang tua di Desa Pijeran. Dengan adanya TPA Darul Muttaqien, para orang tua dapat membantu pembentukan karakter religius anak-anak mereka sejak usia dini. Berdasarkan Buku Panduan Manajemen Pengelolaan TPA yang diterbitkan oleh Divisi Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Darussalam Gontor, TPA Darul Muttaqien Pijeran dijalankan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an dengan buku Iqro'. Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk menjadikan TPA sebagai wadah pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter bagi peserta didik atau santri.

Abstract

Rotary friction welding adalah teknik pengelasan yang memanfaatkan panas yang dihasilkan dari gesekan. Prosesnya melibatkan dua logam yang dipertemukan pada ujung-ujungnya, kemudian kedua permukaan ditekan menggunakan gaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu tekan terhadap pembentukan senyawa intermetalik antara aluminium dan tembaga. Waktu tekan pada penyambungan aluminium dan tembaga ditetapkan sebesar 60, 120, dan 180 detik. Selanjutnya untuk mengidentifikasi distribusi dan konsentrasi senyawa intermetalik yang terbentuk pada masing-masing waktu tekan tersebut digunakan SEM-EDX. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa morfologi dan komposisi zona sambungan sangat dipengaruhi oleh waktu tekan. Tembaga berdifusi ke dalam aluminium pada waktu tekan yang lebih singkat yaitu 60 detik, menciptakan lapisan intermetalik tipis dan rata. Sebaliknya dengan waktu tekan yang lebih lama 120 dan 180 detik, maka konsentrasi tembaga di zona sambungan cenderung turun karena mekanisme self cleaning dan redistribusi material, yang menghasilkan lapisan intermetalik yang lebih tebal tetapi dengan distribusi yang tidak merata. Rotary friction welding is a welding technique that utilizes heat generated from friction. The process involves two metals that are brought together at their ends, then both surfaces are pressed using force. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of pressing time on the formation of intermetallic compounds between aluminum and copper. The pressing time for joining aluminum and copper was set at 60, 120, and 180 seconds. Furthermore, SEM-EDX was used to identify the distribution and concentration of intermetallic compounds formed at each pressing time. The results showed that the morphology and composition of the joint zone were greatly influenced by the pressing time. Copper diffused into aluminum at a shorter pressing time of 60 seconds, creating a thin and even intermetallic layer. In contrast, with a longer pressing time of 120 and 180 seconds, the copper concentration in the joint zone tended to decrease due to the self-cleaning mechanism and material redistribution, which resulted in a thicker intermetallic layer but with an uneven distribution

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the suitability of the Arabic language textbook for the eleventh grade, issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in its first edition in 2020, to determine whether the prescribed book aligns with the criteria of a textbook according to the theory of Ali Muhammad Al-Qasimy in developing teaching components for Arabic language instruction for non-native speakers. This textbook is selected because its implementation is still relatively new, and there are ongoing issues, such as using highly advanced reading texts. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and the desk research method. A content analysis technique was employed to analyze the data. Primary data were collected by documenting content from the "Arabic Language Textbook for the Eleventh Grade" and teacher interviews. Secondary data were collected through documentation from relevant literary sources. The results showed that this book falls into the category of suitable teaching materials for Madrasah Aliyah students in Indonesia based on Al-Qasimy theory in developing teaching material components. First, the basic materials of the textbook consist of: a) reading texts (reading) in the form of dialogue, b) Arabic language leaders, c) exercises, and d) dictionaries. Second, the textbook auxiliary materials comprise: a) dictionaries, b) the books of the tamarin, c) the book of the horoscope, d) the evaluation/test book, e) the teacher's guidebook, and f) visual teaching aids.

Abstract

Development and performance evaluation of a 3D terrain generator application that heavily utilizes the Perlin Noise algorithm on the Android platform. The application was designed to generate virtual landscapes of varying complexity and was then tested on four Android devices with different hardware specifications. Testing was conducted to evaluate application performance in terms of frame rate (FPS), rendering time, memory usage, and the number of spawned objects. The test results showed that device specifications, particularly RAM capacity, significantly impacted application performance. Devices with more RAM demonstrated better performance, with higher frame rates and faster rendering times, while devices with lower specifications experienced decreased performance. Although the application's memory usage proved efficient and consistent across all tested devices, these results highlight the need for further optimization to ensure the application runs smoothly on lower-spec devices. This study demonstrates potential optimizations in developing terrain generator applications on the Android platform, as well as suggested improvements to enhance performance and user experience across devices.
