Abstract

The problem facing education is the lack of quality output, management, human resources, and weak ability to compete in the Global World Arena. This is Evidences by the increasing number of educated unemployment and lack of student academic achievement. To that end, expert of management education (total quality management) quality (TQM) as Joseph M. Juran and his colleagues offer in order to implement TQM in a consistent and continuous. By involving all components of the organization to improve the quality of higher education. At the implementation level there are four pillars of TQM are: customer statisfaction, respect for all people, management by facts, and continuas improvements. In any quality improvement activity must implement four-step plan, control, and quality improvement. As the spear head TQME is a leader who has a high work ethic, consistent, and democratic.

Abstract

Visi adalah suatu yang  melekat dalam diri seorang pemimpin yang menentukan berkualitas atau tidak berkualitasnya kepemimpinan. Tulisan ini akan mencoba menjelaskan berbagai konsep yang berkaitan dengan visi kepemimpinan pendidikan dengan tujuan kita dapat memahami lebih komprehenshif hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan konsep kepemimpinan, gaya kepemimpinan, dan konsep visi keberhasilan kepemimpinan. Pembahasan ini akan ditelusuri dari berbagai kahian pustaka. Visi adalah suatu gambaran mengenai masa depan organisasi yang ingin diwujudkan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Pemimpin visioner dapat diukur dari gaya memimpin, menata diri, dan dalam membaca situasi dan kondisi.

Abstract

AbstractIndonesia is a plural country with various ethnic groups, languages, religion, and culture. This is prone to friction such as conflicts between ethnicities, religion, and so on. This study aimed to know the implementation of multicultural education in growing tolerance between students in state Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru. This study used qualitative approach with case study type of research. The study was done from January 2020 until March 2020. Data was collected by in-depth interview, participant observation, and documentation technique. The informants in this study were 11 samples including the headmaster, teacher, and students. After obtaining the data, analysis was done through the series of reduction, display, and data verification. Meanwhile, validity test was done by triangulation. The result showed that the implementation of multicultural education in growing tolerance between students in state Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru through the school policy regulating that the rights of every student is equal, no obligation for non-Muslim female students to wear hijab, no obligation for non-Muslim students to attend Islamic religious activities, and religion subjects are customized to each religion, Muslim students learn Islamic studies, while non-Muslim students learn about their own religion, and they are free to learn religion studies in their own house of worship

Abstract

This study aims to analyze an effect of the implementation of full day school on learning motivation of elementary school students. The research method used is a mixed research method with explanatory design. The number of samples used were 174 students. The research data were obtained by distributing a full day school application questionnaire and a student learning motivation questionnaire, as well as conducting interviews with students. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively with simple regression type and inferential statistics. The results showed that has been done, it can be concluded that the implementation of full day and student motivation in Elementary School is already in a good category. This is reinforced by the results of interviews which show that through the implementation of full day school it can have a positive impact, namely that student creativity can be more developed, achievement increases, and students can develop their talents and skills through extracurricular activities, which can then be developed. Make it easier for teachers to deliver material to students because of the time. which is old. Based on the hypothesis test conducted, it was found that there was an influence between the implementation of full day school on student learning motivation in elementary schools, with the percentage contribution of the influence of 61.3% to the dependent variable, and 39.7% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the context of education and the importance of communication, explain relevant communication theories in education, and explain the role of technology in improving educational communication. The research methodology used in this research is library research. Primary sources are sources that provide data directly from the first hand or are original sources. Secondary data is in the form of books related to the subject matter. The steps of library research are identifying several key terms, finding literature, critically evaluating and selecting literature, organizing literature, and reporting literature summaries. The results show that good communication can strengthen cooperation in decision-making, policy implementation, and evaluation of the education process. Communication management plays a role in education. Good communication between teachers and students, as well as between all parties involved in the educational process will help create a harmonious learning environment.

Abstract

This article analyzes whether there is an influence of the Academic Administration Information System and Service Quality on Student Satisfaction. The article comes from quantitative, the population is 3,356, a sample of 44 students, the sample is simple random sampling, data collection, documentation, instrument testing, product moment correlation questionnaire validity test, Cronbach's alpha questionnaire reliability test, percentage data analysis techniques, normality test, hypothesis, t test, F test, the coefficient of determination test results show that: (1) Academic Administration Information Systems are generally in the medium category, namely (45%), (2) Service Quality is generally in the high category (48%), (3) the influence of X1 on Y 0.000 < 0.05, t 4,185 > 2,020 there is an influence, the influence of 23 it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is an influence (4) of 86.3%. Atikel ini menganalisis apakah terdapat Pengaruh Sistem Informasi Tata Usaha Akademik dan Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa. Artikel berasal dari kuantitatif, populasinya 3.356 sampel 44 mahasiswa, sampel simple random sampling, pengumpulan data, dokumentasi, uji coba instrument uji validitas angket korelasi product moment, uji reliabilitas angket alpha cronbach, teknik analisis data presentase, uji normalitas, hipotesis, uji t, uji F, uji koefesien determinasi hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sistem Informasi Tata Usaha Akademik secara umum kategori sedang yaitu sebanyak (45%), (2) Kualitas Pelayanan  secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi (48%), (3) pengaruh X1 terhadap Y 0,000 < 0,05, t 4.185 > 2.020 terdapat pengaruh, pengaruh X2 terhadap Y sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 nilai t 4.080 >2.020 terdapat pengaruh, secara simulta sebesar 0,000<0,05 nilai F hitung 129.662 > F tabel 3,23 dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima berarti terdapat pengaruh (4) sebesar 86,3%.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the management of leadership and institutions in education, specifically the Ministry of Religion, the Directorate of Islamic Religious Higher Education, and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The research methodology employed is library research. Primary data are sources that provide data directly from the first hand or are original sources. Secondary data are in the form of other books related to the problems that are the subject of discussion in this article. The steps of library research include: determining and formulating the problem or topic to be studied, collecting various written sources relevant to the research topic, and evaluating the relevance and credibility of each source after a significant literature review. The researcher then analyzes the content of the selected literature to identify patterns, themes, and trends relevant to the research topic. Finally, literature synthesis is achieved by combining information from various sources to form a more comprehensive understanding of the research topic. The results indicate that leadership management in educational institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs is a crucial element in the pursuit of educational excellence. Leadership management in the Directorate of Islamic Religious Higher Education (Diktis) is defined as the process of managing and organizing activities and resources in an effort to achieve the institution's strategic goals related to Islamic religious higher education in Indonesia. Leadership management at the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) is a process that involves the planning, organization, direction, and control of human and material resources in order to achieve national education goals.

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of the Calistung learning method in improving the language development of Early Childhood 5-6 years in RA Al-Annur Permata, Eka Jaya Village, Palmerah District, Jambi City. The main problem of this research is why the method of reading, writing, counting (Calistung) at RA Al-Annur Permata Jambi City in improving early childhood language development at RA Al-Annur Permata Jambi City is not optimal, with indicators not yet creative teachers in carrying out the learning process . This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a purposive sampling technique approach. The research findings show that RA Al-Annur Permata has applied several Calistung methods in his learning. The application of Calistung learning through play for children is indeed very necessary in addition to making interesting learning not monotonous, media learning also makes it easier for children to understand because it uses concrete concepts. RA's Calistung method. Al-Annur Permata media has an important role in conveying learning to children. The obstacle to implementing Calistung learning for early childhood in Class B RA Al-Annur Permata is the limited competence of the teacher and the inadequate APE and not appropriate for the child's age. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan metode pembelajaran Calistung dalam meningkatkan perkembangan berbahasa Anak Usia Dini 5–6 tahun di RA Al-Annur Permata Kelurahan Eka Jaya Kecamatan Palmerah Kota Jambi. Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah mengapa Metode membaca, menulis, menghitung (Calistung) di RA Al-Annur Permata Kota Jambi dalam peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini di RA Al-Annur Permata Kota Jambi belum optimal, dengan indikator belum kreatifnya guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif diskriptif dengan pendekatan teknik purposive sampling. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RA Al-Annur Permata telah menerapkan beberapa metode Calistung dalam pembelajarannya. Penerapan pembelajaran Calistung melalui bermain bagi anak memang sangat diperlukan selain membuat pembelajaran menarik tidak monoton pembelajaran media juga membuat anak lebih mudah mengerti karena menggunakan konsep yang konkret. Metode Calistung yang dijalankan RA. Al-Annur Permata media mempunyai peran penting dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran kepada anak. Kendala penerapan pembelajaran Calistung anak usia dini di Kelas B RA Al-Annur Permata adalah kompetensi guru yang terbatas dan APE-nya yang kurang memadai serta tidak sesuai dengan usia anak.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk penggunaan metode teams games tournament untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa di dalam proses pembelajaran materi keragaman suku bangsa dan agama di negeriku. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah kelas IV SD Negeri 59/IX Penyengat Olak. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah  observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode teams games tournament dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah sebesar 61% dan pada siklus II adalah sebesar 93%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode team games tournamen dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa di dalam proses pembelajaran dan mencapai kualitas pembelajaran yang tuntas. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to use the teams games tournament method to increase student learning activity in the learning process of ethnic and religious diversity in my country. The subject of this class action research is grade IV SD Negeri 59/IX Penyengat Olak. The data collection techniques of this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the teams games tournament method can increase students' active learning in the learning process. Student learning activity in the first cycle is 61% and in the second cycle is 93%. The results of this study indicate that the use of the team games tournament method can increase student activity in the learning process and achieve complete learning quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of educational management on the character development of students at the Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Traditional Islamic Boarding School in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province. This is a descriptive qualitative study in which data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included foundation administrators, pesantren leaders and vice-chairmen, teachers, and students. According to the findings of the study, the transformation process of educational management in forming the character of students at the Musthafawiyah Purba Baru Traditional Islamic Boarding School, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province, has been implemented in the form of a clean, honest, disciplined, trustworthy, independent, respectful, and simple character carried out through yellow book learning activities. Kyai, teachers, hostel supervisors, peers, and yourself all internalize these character values. Despite the fact that it is not optimally responsive to the times and has yet to determine the focus of character development.
