The prevalence of diarrhea in basic health research 2013, diarrhea is spread across all age groups with the highest prevalence detected in children under five (1-4 years) namely 16,7%. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in public helath centers throughout indonesian. Method: This type of research uses the method of literature study or literature review with a maximum time span of journal publishing of 5 years from 2015 to 2020. The population in this study is mothers who have toddlers with diarrhea. Results: The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in public healt centers throught indonesian based on the research variabels are nutrional status, immunization, exclusive breastfeeding, personal hygiene and environmental sanitation. It can be concluded that the most dominant factors affecting the incidence of diarrhea in infants are exclusive breastfeeding. The average previous study used a cross sectional study design with bivariate analysis statistical tests through the chi square test with different number of respondents and research locations. Abstract

Background: VAP is pneumonia due to the use of a mechanical ventilator for more than 2 days in   the ICU. VAP mortality rates generally range from 25% - 50% but in some cases have increased to 70%. The aim of this study was to see whether there was a relationship between the use of a mechanical ventilator on the incidence of VAP. Method : This study was conducted using a literature review technique. Result: From 15 research many research results that are in line, and state that there is a relationship between the use of mechanical ventilators with risk factors for prolonged use of mechanical ventilators, age, COPD, decreased consciousness, and invasive surgery on VAP, thereby increasing the mortality of VAP events. Conclusion: The use of mechanical ventilators has a relationship with the occurrence of VAP, with duration of mechanical ventilator use, age, COPD, decreased consciousness, and invasive surgery as risk factor indicators.

Abstract

Background. Corona Virus Disease-19, also known as COVID-19, is a disease caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). COVID-19 became a pandemic outbreak determined by the World Health Organization (WHO) on December 31, 2019, which first occurred in Wuhan, China. Indonesia itself confirmed the first case on March 2, 2020. As of January 2, 2022, the government of the Republic of Indonesia has reported 4,263,168 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There have been around 144,097 reported COVID-19-related deaths. One of the causes of death is the presence of comorbidities. The presence of a history of comorbidities increases the severity leading to death. Research Objectives: To find out the relationship between one comorbid, namely HT, DM or Heart with COVID-19 at the Hospital which can cause death and to find out the relationship between two comorbids, namely HT with DM or HT with Heart or DM with Heart with COVID-19 at home. Illness that can lead to death Results: The results found were that there was a relationship between the type of comorbidity and the number of deaths in COVID-19 patients, this was based on a bivariate statistical test using the chi-square test, p value <0.05. This shows that there is a significant relationship between the type of comorbidity and the number of comorbidities on the severity of patients with confirmed COVID-19. Conclusion: The results of this study show that comorbidities are one of the factors that play a role in causing severity in COVID-19 patients and even death. The most common comorbidities were HT, DM for single comorbid and for multiple comorbids were DM with HT, DM with heart.
