Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the most important factors that affect the development market of RTD-ready to drink tea industry. Recently, consumer facing several product of ready to drink tea in the middle of tea industry competition, and Teh Kotak Ultrajaya was the pioneer of ready to drink tea in a box. The primary goal of this research is to analyze customer’s attitude of the brand meaning and consistency, secondary goal is to analyze the customer satisfaction toward Teh Kotak Ultrajaya as one of the ready to drink tea product. The research conducted in two countries, Indonesia and Thailand used qualitative and quantitative methods. Fishbein analysis was conducted to measure consumer’s attitude. Customer satisfaction analyzed using the customer satisfaction index (CSI) and importance and performance analysis (IPA). The finding shows that brand meaning and concistency of tea product represented by the unique taste of the tea, satisfaction feeling after consumed it, comfortable with Indonesian brand, and positive experience while in abroad. The result also shows that customers like Teh Kotak Ultrajaya in Thailand better than in Indonesia based on Fishbein score 15,13 in Thailand and 13,80 in Indonesia. Customer satisfaction index (CSI) was also increased from 78,67 percent to 81,67 percent, from satisfied into very satisfied, and there are no atributes in main priority performance to be improved based on IPA yet still has to maintain all of the good atributes on it.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on livestock businesses and SMEs processing derivative products from cattle, goats, and sheep with a decrease in sales levels, along with the decline in people's purchasing power. This is evidenced by the low level of household consumption which only grew by 2.84% in the first quarter of 2019-2020 compared to the first quarter of 2018-2019 which reached 5.020. This condition is very influential on the sustainability of SME business.The development of marketing strategies is one of the alternative solutions that are expected to help farmers and SMEs entrepreneurs in the processed of derivative products to survive and develop their business. Not stopping at the application of digital marketing application only, research on measuring the consumer satisfaction index is also carried out related to the products marketed and the use of digital marketing applications is expected to help obtained information related to the marketing goals to be achieved and find out the amount of consumer satisfaction index resulting from services that have been provided and products consumed. The research that using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis method showed a consumer satisfaction value index of 80.523% which has meaning that consumer has already feel satisfied. Among the attributes that has been tested showed the highest satisfaction values were product taste (86.0%), price (85.33%) while those attributes that needed to be improved performance were on size variations (72.67%) and promotions (74.0%). ABSTRAKPandemi Covid 19 berdampak cukup signifikan bagi usaha peternakan dan UKM pengolah produk turunan dari sapi, kambing, dan domba dengan penurunan tingkat penjualan, seiring dengan penurunan daya beli masyarakat. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rendahnya tingkat konsumsi rumah tangga yang hanya tumbuh 2,84% pada triwulan I tahun 2019-2020 dibandingkan triwulan I tahun 2018-2019 yang mencapai angka 5,02. Hal ini tentu saja sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberlangsungan usaha UKM. Pengembangan strategi pemasaran menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi yang diharapkan mampu membantu para peternak dan pengusaha UKM bidang olahan produk turunan ini untuk tetap dapat bertahan dan mengembangkan usahanya. Tidak berhenti pada aplikasi penerapan pemasaran digital saja, penelitian mengenai pengukuran terhadap indeks kepuasan konsumen juga dilakukan berkaitan dengan produk yang dipasarkan dan penggunaan aplikasi digital marketing ini diharapkan dapat membantu memperoleh informasi terkait sasaran pemasaran yang ingin dicapai serta mengetahui besaran indeks kepuasan konsumen yang dihasilkan dari layanan yang telah diberikan dan produk yang dikonsumsi. Penelitian yang menggunakan metode analisis Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) ini menunjukkan indeks nilai kepuasan konsumen sebesar 80,523% yang menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata konsumen telah merasa puas. Diantara atribut-atribut yang diuji yang menunjukkan nilai kepuasan tertinggi adalah rasa (86,0%), harga (85,33%) sementara yang perlu ditingkatkan kinerjanya adalah pada variasi ukuran (72,67%) dan promosi (74,0%).

Abstract

Broiler chickens are a livestock industry activity that focuses on meat production. The increasing population means the demand for broiler chickens increases from year to year. This increase in consumption and demand has become a business opportunity for broiler chicken breeders to develop their business through market development. However, until now there are still problems regarding the marketing of broiler chickens, namely the marketing chain is too long so that the profits obtained by farmers are less and less efficient. The objectives of this literature review are to: (1) determine the marketing channel chain in broiler chicken farming;(2) identifying the efficiency of marketing channels in broiler chicken farms on the profits of broiler chicken farmers; (3) determine the effect of marketing strategy on the profits of broiler chicken farmers. The method used is a literature review by searching data using Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed, Crossref and using the help of journal article search tools, namely publish or perish. The results of the literature review show that the broiler chicken marketing chain can increase farmers' profits, by focusing on efficiency and strategic analysis. Shorter canal chains tend to provide greater profits for farmers. An effective marketing strategy can also increase farmers' profits, by considering the company's internal and external factors. Value chain analysis is also important to understand the overall marketing process for broiler chickens. Designing the right marketing strategy can help farmers maximize their profits. Collaboration between business actors is needed to develop the broiler chicken marketing value chain in order to improve regulations, supervision and market information.

Abstract

Padi merupakan tanaman yang biasanya tumbuh di iklim tropis dan termasuk tanaman semusim, sehingga iklim di Indramayu cocok untuk ditanam tanaman padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Strategi Optimalisasi Rantai Pasok padi dalam Penyimpanan RMU Mekar Jaya di Kecamatan Bangodua, Indramayu. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di RMU Mekar Jaya, diketahui bahwa Pak Taryono memiliki ruang penyimpanan gabah kering dengan kapasitas 100 ton. Selain itu, Pak Taryono juga memperhatikan kualitas gabah dan beras yang mana saat penyimpanan gabah kering tidak hanya diletakkan saja, melainkan alasnya ditatakin sekam yang dikemas menggunakan karung. Serta penyimpanan beras menggunakan plastik yang besar dan disekam. Dengan demikian, adanya strategi rantai pasok dalam penyimpanan di RMU Mekar Jaya yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kualitas padi yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian, khususnya hortikultura berperan penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi suatu negara. Komoditas kentang, sebagai salah satu tanaman hortikultura, memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan karena peluang bisnis yang menjanjikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial usaha tani kentang melalui tinjauan literatur dengan fokus pada kriteria investasi seperti Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Return on Investment (ROI). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis dari 13 jurnal, terdiri dari 8 jurnal nasional dan 5 jurnal internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani kentang layak dan menguntungkan, dengan indikator R/C > 1, NPV positif, IRR lebih besar dari tingkat diskonto, dan ROI = 10%. Selain itu, pengolahan kentang menjadi produk agroindustri meningkatkan nilai tambah dan keuntungan dibandingkan penjualan kentang segar. Maka dapat disimpulkan, usahatani kentang memiliki prospek keuntungan yang menjanjikan dan kriteria kelayakan usaha dapat diterapkan pada komoditas lain di sektor pertanian dan agroindustri.

Abstract

Product diversification in agribusiness is an important strategy in increasing farmers' profits and economic stability, especially amidst the challenges of commodity price fluctuations, climate change, and dependence on one type of product. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of product diversification in agribusiness and identify the most appropriate strategy for farmers to increase their profitability and economic resilience. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study was conducted in Berastagi , North Sumatra, as one of the areas with a rapidly growing agribusiness sector. Data were collected through observation, interviews, surveys, and literature studies, then analyzed using a thematic approach to understand diversification patterns and their impacts on farmers' economy. The results of the study indicate that the diversification strategies implemented in Berastagi include horizontal diversification (planting various types of commodities), vertical diversification (processing agricultural products into value-added products), and lateral diversification (development of agrotourism and livestock businesses). Diversification has been shown to increase farmers' income, reduce business risks due to price fluctuations, and expand market access. The success of this strategy is influenced by several main factors, namely access to markets, availability of capital, application of technology, and support from the government and related institutions. However, challenges such as limited capital, lack of skills in product processing, market uncertainty, and complex regulations are still obstacles in implementing diversification. Therefore, a more targeted strategy is needed, such as strengthening sustainable agricultural systems, technological innovation in processing and marketing, and collaboration between farmers, the government, and the private sector. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for farmers, policy makers, and agribusiness actors in developing more effective and sustainable diversification strategies, so as to improve farmer welfare and the resilience of the agribusiness sector as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production efficiency of dairy cattle business in Cisarua Bogor District. The research focuses on identifying factors that affect production efficiency and provides recommendations for improving the efficiency of dairy cattle business. The study utilizes a quantitative research approach and collects data through a survey questionnaire administered to dairy cattle farmers in Cisarua Bogor District. The findings of this research contribute to the understanding of the factors influencing production efficiency in the dairy cattle industry. The results highlight the importance of precision feeding, genetic factors, and farmers' skills in promoting production efficiency. The implications of these findings for dairy cattle farmers and recommendations for future research are discussed.

Abstract

The Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak has worsened the performance of dairy farming and Milk Producers Cooperative (KPS). Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of cooperatives in supporting dairy farmers in North Cianjur, Indonesia. Using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), we assess the role of cooperative services in the performance of its dairy farming members. The results indicate that livestock health and reproduction services are highly prioritized, while education and training programs need improvement, along with a significant relationship between the performance of cooperative services and the businesses of its members. These findings emphasize cooperatives' importance in sustaining small-scale dairy farming performance and provide recommendations for service enhancement.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to support the development of the potential of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the sandal and shoe sector in Mulyaharja Village, Bogor City, through empowering producers, agents, and consumers. Through a participatory approach, this program involves innovative production training, strengthening distribution networks, and increasing consumer understanding of local products. The results of the community service show that the active involvement of producers in improving product quality, agents in expanding market access, and consumers in providing constructive feedback can increase the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs. Digital technology support is also implemented to help market and brand products more widely. The collaboration between these three main components shows that the development of MSMEs in Mulyaharja Village not only has an impact on local economic growth, but also on improving the skills and independence of the local community. It is hoped that the results of this activity can continue and become a model for the development of MSMEs in other areas.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan potensi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di sektor sandal dan sepatu di Kelurahan Mulyaharja, Kota Bogor, melalui pemberdayaan produsen, agen, dan konsumen. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini melibatkan pelatihan produksi yang inovatif, penguatan jaringan distribusi, dan peningkatan pemahaman konsumen terhadap produk lokal. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan aktif produsen dalam peningkatan kualitas produk, agen dalam perluasan akses pasar, serta konsumen dalam memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM. Dukungan teknologi digital juga diimplementasikan untuk membantu pemasaran dan branding produk secara lebih luas. Kolaborasi antara ketiga komponen utama ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan UMKM di Kelurahan Mulyaharja tidak hanya berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, tetapi juga pada peningkatan keterampilan dan kemandirian masyarakat setempat. Diharapkan, hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat terus berlanjut dan menjadi model bagi pengembangan UMKM di wilayah lain.
