One of the efforts made in optimizing the potential of Indonesia is the expansion of plantation estate by the government and the public, either in the form of country estates (PBN), a large private estates (PBS) and smallholders (PR). Village of Budi Asih, Sub District Banyuasin Pulau Rimau, Sumatera Selatan has the potential of âunused landâ for oil palm plantation development. This research purpose to analyze plantation invest by smallholder with sharing system between owner land and investor in Village of Budi Asih, Sub District Banyuasin Pulau Rimau, Sumatera Selatan .Besides taking into account the feasibility analysis of the aspects of non-financial (market aspects, technical, management and legal, economic and social, environmental) and financial aspects, the changes that will happen also to be taken into account to anticipate the financial impact that occurs on exertion cultivation of this commodity in the form of changes in production value (TBS productivities;TBS prices) and variabel cost.

Rabbit agribusiness has high potensi to be developed. This development has to be supported by entrepreneurial behavior of rabbit farmers. The purposes of the research are: 1) to analyze the entrepreneurial level of rabbit farmers, 2) to analyze the correlating factors of entrepreneurial behavior. Respondent selection was conducted by census to all rabbit farmers which were member of KOPNAKCI. Total respondent used was 50 repondents. The method to analyze the entrepreneurial level is summated rating of nine indicators of entrepreneurial attitude. The correlating factors are motivation, education, farming experience, access to inputs, training/counseling and access to information. The correlation is measured by Spearman Rank. The result shows 1) the entrepreneurial level of rabbit farmers is medium, 2) correlating factors for entrepreneurial attitude are training/counseling and access to information.

Horses are animals that have many benefits for human life. One merits could get of a horse is sports riding. Horse race is one sports very most favorite by Indonesian people. One organization sports riding is PORDASI. Every year PORDASI make activities of a horse race high. Many projects of horse races are held PORDASI make the request a racehorse qualified to can fulfill a need the race. Budi Mulya Stable is a breeding horses race that have average sales horse six tail annually. In running their business, Budi Mulya Stable horses breeding had several obstacles. So required a feasibility analysis Â of business in order to see whether or not worthy of this business conduct. A feasibility analysis effort is done by analyzing at the non financial and financial aspects. Analysis aspect non financial consisting of market aspects, technical, management, law, socioeconomic environment. The aspect of financial analysis by means of analyzing criteria based on investment as NPV, Net B/ C, IRR, DPP and analysis Swiching Value.Â The result of an feasibility analysis of this business that farm produce a racehorse budi mulya stable worthy to run.

Penyediaan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten penting dalam usaha tani tembakau. Komoditas tembakau ditekan oleh perubahan kondisi lingkungan global, sehingga diperlukan petani yang mampu beradaptasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kewira-usahaan dan kinerja pertanian, 2) Menganalisis pengaruh sifat individu dan faktor lingkungan terhadap peri-laku kewirausahaan, dan 3) Menganalisis pengaruh sifat individu, faktor lingkungan, dan perilaku kewirausa-haan terhadap kinerja tembakau rakyat. Pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel tak bebas (terikat) diukur dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Sifat individu dan faktor lingkungan mempengaruhi perilaku kewirausahaan dengan pengaruh terbesar berasal dari sifat individu. Perilaku kewirausahaan berpe-ngaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha, namun bukan menjadi faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kinerja pertanian. Lingkungan ekonomi menjadi variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pertanian. Peri-laku kewirausahaan saja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Dengan demikian, perilaku kewirausa-haan harus dipandang sebagai salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam mendorong kinerja.Â Provision of competent human resources is important in tobacco farming. Tobacco as commodities pressured by changes in global environmental conditions so that required adaptable farmers. Therefore, this research aimed to: 1) Determine the factors that influence entrepreneurial behavior and performance of the farm; 2) Analyze the influence of personality trait and environmental factors to entrepreneurial behavior; and 3) Analyze the influence of personality trait, environmental factors, and entrepreneurial behavior to the perfor-mance of individual tobacco farming. The effect of independent variables on the measurement dependent variables were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The personality trait and environment fac-tor influence entrepreneurial behavior with the greatest influence comes from the personality trait. Entrepre-neurial behavior has significant effect on the performance of the business, but not a dominant factor affect-ting the performance of the farm. Economic environment to be the most influential variable on the perfor-mance of the farm. Entrepreneurial behavour alone has no significant effect on performance. Thus, entre-preneurial behaviour should be viewed as only one causal factor in a complex model of factors that promote performance.

Entrepreneurship has a positive relationship with economic growth in a country since its role in the economic growth which absorbs local resources and creates jobs. Livestock subsector is one of parts of agricultural sector which has good opportunity to be developed because the national market demand of milk product is still high. Bogor Regency is one area in West Java which has dairy cow industry. Nevertheless, dairy farmers in Bogor have not been optimally developed the potential opportunities in dairy farm business through entrepreneurial activities. This study aims to (1) analyse the entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial competences of dairy farmers, (2) analyse the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial competences. The research objectives were analysed using descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis with Kendall Tau test. The result shows that the level of entrepreneurial characteristic and entrepreneurial competences of dairy farmers are low. The entrepreneurial characteristics and entrepreneurial competences also has a positive strong adequate relationship. It shows that to increase entrepreneurial competences of dairy farmers, entrepreneurial characteristics are also should bedeveloped. The government role is needed in increasing materials in training for dairy farmers to increase entrepreneurial competences and government policy to set a good milk price is also needed to give a better incentive for dairy farmers. One of the active roles of women is being able to assist the rural economy development starting from their family. Fish cracker is a small-scaled household industry that creates jobs and involves women who were previously just housewives in Ogan Ilir. To view and enhance the role of women, this study was conducted to analyze the role of the women in the fish cracker industry in Ogan Ilir and analyze the influence of the female characters on the business performance of this industry. As many as 30 women working in the cracker industry were selected as the samples. The analytical tool of PLS method was used to analyze the influence of the characters and to calculate the contribution of the role of the women using the proportion analysis. Revenues generated by the women from the fish cracker industry reached 38,46% indicating that they have a role in increasing their family income. PLS analysis results indicate that the individual character and psychological character have a positive impact on the business performance for the industry, increasing the revenues in the fish cracker business. The involvement of women in this industry can increase household incomes; furthermore, increased revenues can be generated by improving the quality of individuals through the related role of women.Keywords: role of women, fish cracker industry, revenue analysis, influence of character, PLS

This research aimed to analyze the influence of the characteristics of innovation, internal and external factors to the adoption of innovation and analyze the influence adoption of innovation on the performance of small micro enterprises (MSEs) processing of dried fish in the city of Bengkulu. The influence of the adoption of innovation and the factors that influence the performance of the analysis was done by using SEM (Structural Equation Model). The results showed that the innovation of dried fish processing in Bengkulu City, which is the use of para-para tool and packaging, has the characteristics of relative advantages, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and good observability. Innovation has a low level of complexity by a simpler way of usage than others. Individual characteristics of dried fish artisans have a significant positive effect on the adoption of innovation. The largest contributing variable that reflects individual characteristics is training. The business characteristic variable does not affect the adoption of innovation because of the increasing characteristics of the business requirements, which demands better innovation from the current ones. The environmental drive variable has no significant effect on the adoption of innovation. Although high competition variables reflect environmental variables, competitors from outside the region have their own market share. Government support variables have a significant positive effect on the adoption of innovation. The adoption of innovation has a significant effect on the performance of dried fish processing MSEs in Bengkulu City, where the para-para indicator has bigger contribution than the packaging and the productivity variable has a bigger effect than the sales in reflecting the performance variable of MSE’s dried fish processing in Bengkulu City. Seaweed is one of the main aquaculture products which has high economic value and serves as strategic business opportunities. Seaweed farming becomes the main livelihood for people in Takalar Regency, so it is necessary to improve the working quality of seaweed farmers through the development of entrepreneurial behavior as a new variable in improving the performance of seaweed business. This research is intended to examine the effects of the environment on farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior and the effects of entrepreneurial behavior on seaweed business performance. This research takes place in two different production districts, which are Mangarabombang district and Mappakasunggu district, with 150 respondents of seaweed farmers conducted by simple random sampling. The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using AMOS 23 software. The result shows that there are insignificant positive impacts of the internal environment on farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior as the value of t-statistic is 1.61 < 1.96, while there are significant positive impacts of the external environment on farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior with the coefficient value of 0.58 and t-statistic of 2.50. The entrepreneurial behavior is found to give significant and positive impacts towards farm performance with the coefficient value if 0.41 and t-statistic of 5.26 > 1.96. It shows that the development of farmers’ entrepreneurial behavior will improve the seaweed business performance in Takalar Regency. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of individual factors, enviromental factors, entrepreneurial behavior on business performance of cassava SMEs agroindustry in Padang. This research was conducted in January-March 2017, and the number of respondents was 53 entrepreneurs. The analysis method used was quantitative analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 2.0. The results showed individual factors have positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial behavior with the influence coefficient 0.430. The most dominant individual factor that reflected entrepreneurial behavior was the experience with the load factor (λ) 0.877. Environmental factors have a positive and significant effect on individual factors with the influence coefficient 0.478. Environmental factors have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial behavior with the influence coefficient 0.405. The most dominant environmental factor that affected entrepreneurial behavior was training with the load factor (λ) 0.840. The entrepreneurial behavior factor has a positive and significant effect on business performance with influence coefficient 0.575. The most dominant entrepreneurial behavior that influenced the business performance was the innovativeness with the load factor (λ) 0.774.Keywords: individual factor, environmental factor, entrepreneurial behavior, business performance, partial least square (PLS)
