Abstract

This study focuses on constructing an integrated payroll application utilizing web and Android platforms at CV Gema Syifa Engineering through the implementation of Agile Scrum methodology. The primary challenge motivating this research involves the company's reliance on a semi-automated compensation mechanism that necessitates manual information entry via spreadsheet documents and data storage in fragmented directories. This situation generates various operational obstacles including time wastage during payroll data insertion, elevated frequency of data validity errors, restricted information access, and complexity in remuneration computation procedures. Furthermore, the absence of system integration results in sluggish wage calculation execution, inconsistent computational outcomes, and questionable data credibility. The research approach adopts the Agile Scrum framework which facilitates adaptive and cyclical software development processes through sprint iterations. System architecture is designed by applying Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation encompassing use case representations, activity flow diagrams, interaction sequence diagrams, and database structures normalized to the third stage (3NF).Implementation outputs demonstrate that the constructed solution successfully accommodates comprehensive integration of the entire payroll workflow, spanning from personnel information administration, attendance documentation, overtime computation, to automated generation of compensation calculations and salary slip documents. The application provides layered access segregation: administrators possess full privileges for system configuration, while employees can access their personal remuneration information and attendance records. Security protection mechanisms are implemented through two-factor authentication (2FA) for administrators and automatic account locking systems following three unsuccessful login attempts. System verification through Blackbox testing approach confirms that all functionalities operate according to design parameters. This implementation proves to optimize efficiency and precision in payroll data management, minimize computational errors, and provide superior accessibility for HR divisions and workforce. The system is projected to support enhanced operational performance and human resource satisfaction at CV Gema Syifa Engineering.

Abstract

Abstract

Strategi retrofit sederhana melalui optimasi bukaan ventilasi terbukti mampu meningkatkan potensi kinerja termal.

Abstract

Urban overheating and outdoor thermal discomfort have become critical challenges in rapidly urbanizing tropical cities, significantly reducing the environmental quality, usability, and livability of public spaces. Despite the growing emphasis on climate-responsive and performance-based urban design, the integration of environmental simulation into urban design education and spatial decision-making processes remains limited. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a simulation-informed urban design learning model in improving both design quality and outdoor thermal comfort performance. A quasi-experimental approach was employed within an urban design studio involving 40 architecture students divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group applied a simulation-informed workflow using ENVI-met and Ladybug Tools, while the control group followed conventional urban design methods. Design quality was evaluated through spatial organization, public-space quality, climate responsiveness, vegetation integration, and design coherence. The results demonstrate that the experimental group achieved a 39.6% improvement in overall design quality, with the highest increase observed in climate responsiveness (60.7%). In terms of thermal performance, the simulation-informed approach reduced air temperature by 4.3°C and MRT by 9.5°C, while increasing shading coverage by 30%. Statistical analysis confirms that the differences between groups are significant (p < 0.05). The findings indicate that environmental simulation substantially enhances spatial responsiveness and thermal performance by enabling iterative and evidence-based design decisions. This study contributes to performance-based urban design and architectural pedagogy by establishing a quantitative relationship between microclimate simulation,

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company specializing in the production of disc brakes and mufflers. This study identifies issues within the management of the M2FW Raw Material warehouse at PT. XYZ, stemming from the suboptimal implementation of the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system. The failure to maintain an effective FIFO system has led to several serious problems, including material damage due to corrosion, discrepancies between recorded data and actual physical stock, and poor warehouse maintenance regarding cleanliness and organization. These findings underscore the urgent need for systemic and procedural improvements to ensure operational efficiency and prevent further losses. This research utilizes a quantitative descriptive approach using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to evaluate failure risks, alongside a 5W+1H analysis to identify root causes. Data collection results during the research indicate the presence of 465 pieces of Not Good (NG) products (0.17% of total stock) with total losses reaching IDR 8,688,270.97, as well as a physical stock discrepancy of 302 pieces. Based on the FMEA analysis, work methods that deviate from standard operating procedures were identified as the most critical failure factor, yielding the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) of 270. Applying a Kaizen approach, the proposed improvements include: standardizing methods through daily checksheets for 5S and FIFO control; implementing a structured warehouse area monitoring schedule; and categorizing supplier delivery schedules based on part size (small, medium, large) to streamline the storage process. The implementation of these steps is expected to minimize financial losses, improve stock data accuracy, and ensure operational fluidity in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
