Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the use of bibliotherapy to prevent negative behavior of students at school. The research method used by researchers was qualitative with a descriptive study approach, which was the focus of this research using the counseling technique of bibliotherapy to prevent negative behavior of junior high school students. Data collection techniques carried out included interviews, observation, and documentation studies of several documents related to the research topic. The results of this study indicate that the users of the bibliotherapy technique themselves are guidance and counseling teachers who are professionals, meaning they must be graduates or bachelors in guidance and counseling. While the use of bibliotherapy techniques has proven effective in preventing or reducing students' negative behaviors such as smoking, bullying, being disrespectful to teachers, and fighting, besides that kind of guidance and counseling, teachers use group guidance with discussion techniques. While for bibliotherapy, it is used during individual counseling.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe the issues that students face when trying to plan their careers, both in school and at work. This study is field research, which means that several high school kids were watched and talked to. The study's results showed that most students had trouble planning their careers because they didn't believe in their own skills and had trouble coming up with ideas or ways to solve problems. Problems: not enough self-confidence, hard to be focused, and hard to take the lead. They don't know much about jobs and have a hard time getting information about jobs after they finish school. Lack of conversation experience, which makes it seem like job talks will be hard, and lack of foreign language skills. It's hard to come up with a list of things that can help with preparing a job. It's hard to get projects done on time, and it's hard for students to do jobs that need good results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how managers, team leaders, and supervisors can evaluate top performers with the aid of simple additive weighting in decision support systems. In this study, interviews, observation, and related literature reviews were employed as data collection techniques. This system employs fuzzy simple additive weighted (FSAW) as its approach. Two techniques, AHP and WP, were used to develop the system. Rapid Application Development, or RAD, is the system development methodology employed in this study. The findings of the study led to the following deductions: The results of this application calculation do not directly determine when assessing the best employee; you must wait for a decision from the team leader, supervisor, manager or meeting. The results provided by the best employee assessment decision support system method can be implemented using dynamic or changeable criteria to determine the best alternative. There are seven criteria used for research on evaluating the best employees in this application, namely: average process. Processes include: quantity; quality; on time; and teamwork. Productivity, which includes days in and days out/holidays. These criteria are only a basis for research in writing about the best employees, but to add or subtract criteria, you can add or subtract them in the best employee assessment application system using SAW.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how supportive work environments affect organizational engagement and how that affects employee retention. In this study, questionnaires and interviews were employed as data collection methods. Descriptive and causal research methodologies were used in this study. The research's target demographic comprises Generation Y workers with permanent job status in property companies. Non-probability sampling combined with judgmental sampling is the sampling method employed in this study. One hundred people made up the study's sample. Multivariate analysis is typically used with this data analysis method. The study's findings indicate no statistically significant correlation between a supportive work environment and employee retention. On the other hand, with a very low p-value, a supportive work environment significantly positively affects organizational engagement. In addition, it was discovered that staff retention is significantly positively impacted by organizational engagement. These findings highlight the value of fostering a positive work environment to raise organizational engagement among employees, which can increase retention rates.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of the barcode system in private banks. Researchers employ a quantitative approach, which is a form of survey research. The research design uses a descriptive analysis method. To collect data, the author conducted interviews, distributed questionnaires and observations, and tracked documents related to the barcode system in the bank. The population in this study were employees of the Operation Division. This research employed the non-probability sampling technique. Researchers used SPSS. By using a barcode system, employees gain several significant benefits. First, the barcode system makes it easier to maintain IT equipment at the bank by providing accurate information about the status and location of the devices, as well as creating a greater sense of responsibility for the devices used. Apart from that, using barcodes also helps overcome the problem of data redundancy, maintain data security, speed up the process of calculating asset depreciation, and speed up the decision-making process. Implementing the barcode system also makes it easier and faster to process asset stock-taking using the asset inventory application, thereby increasing overall work productivity. However, the test results show that using the barcode system is not practical in improving the performance of employees. The calculated t value reveals no significant difference in performance before and after the barcode system implementation.

Various skills and mastery of digital devices required by staff in the human resources department are communication skills, including the use of email, instant messaging applications, and applications in the selection and recruitment process. Other technological devices needed by hotel management are hotel management systems and office asset management. The advice given to hotel management is to provide training and certification for staff who work to address the existing skills gap. Another conclusion of this study is that employers view informational skills as complementary and not important during the employee selection process. The most sought-after position is a receptionist, which requires strong communication skills and efficient operational capabilities.
