Abstract

This research aimed to design an efficient and environmentally friendly smartship to support maritime transportation activities in Pantai Indramayu. Research methods included literature review, 3D modeling, and numerical simulation. Results demonstrated that the proposed smartship design can reduce fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to conventional vessels of similar size. Additionally, the developed autonomous navigation system enables the ship to operate independently under various weather conditions. In conclusion, this smartship design holds significant potential to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact within Indonesia's maritime industry

Abstract

Technological developments in the electrical sector are increasingly rapid, demanding competent workers who master the latest software. Taruna Vocational School Surabaya as a vocational high school (SMK) in the field of electricity needs to improve its students' skills so they are ready to compete in the world of work. This research aims to improve the skills of students at Taruna Vocational School in Surabaya through the latest electrical software training. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that the latest electrical software training has proven effective in improving the skills of students at Taruna Vocational School in Surabaya. This is proven by the increase in students' practical exam scores and the increase in students' ability to use the latest electrical software. This research makes a contribution to SMK Taruna Surabaya in improving the quality of education and competency of its students. The results of this research can also be a reference for other schools in improving their students' skills through the latest electrical software training.

Abstract

A slow sand filter is a natural water filtration system that uses fine quartz-rich sand as a filter medium. The filtration process runs by gravity at a slow and even speed over the entire surface of the sand, involving physical, biochemical and biological processes simultaneously. To achieve the desired water quality, the filtration system was designed using 8" PVC pipes. The main aim of this design is to mature the filter sand media and form an effective filter skin layer, so that biochemical and biological processes can take place optimally. In this design, silica sand and gravel media are used for physical and chemical processes, while ultraviolet lamps are used to eliminate E.Coli bacteria in biological processes. The design results show that the resulting product meets the standards of PERMENKES No. 16 of 2005. Irradiation using a UV lamp for one hour shows a reduction in E. Coli bacteria by 29/100 ml. This shows that the longer the exposure, the less bacteria contained in river water. This system can operate for 5 hours with the help of a 100 Wp solar panel, 12 volt 18 Ah battery, and 50 watt DC pump, even just with sunlight. The efficiency of solar panels is greatly influenced by the intensity of sunlight, so the higher the intensity of the sun, the higher the efficiency produced.

Abstract

Rekonstruksi 3D adalah teknik membentuk objek tiga dimensi dari bentuk aslinya di dunia nyata untuk divisualisasikan di komputer. Awalnya, proses ini dilakukan secara manual dengan pengukuran langsung, namun rentan terhadap kesalahan karena ketidakakuratan pengukuran. Dalam penelitian ini, sistem rekonstruksi 3D menggunakan teknologi digital dengan sensor LiDAR TF-Mini Plus. Sensor LiDAR menggunakan pulsa laser untuk mengukur jarak ke objek dan menghasilkan data point-clouds yang merepresentasikan permukaan objek. Sensor ini digerakkan oleh dua motor, yaitu motor servo untuk rotasi pitch dan motor stepper untuk rotasi yaw, memungkinkan cakupan penuh objek dan rekonstruksi yang lebih rinci. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu menghasilkan rekonstruksi 3D yang sangat akurat dengan detail tinggi. Data point-clouds yang dikumpulkan oleh sensor LiDAR merepresentasikan bentuk asli tangki dengan presisi, termasuk lekukan dan kontur secara jelas. Hal ini membuktikan efektivitas sistem dalam menciptakan model 3D yang berguna untuk berbagai analisis dan visualisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem pemantauan stok kalsium karbonat di dalam silo menggunakan teknologi LiDAR dan metode Trapezoidal Numerical Integration untuk mengukur volume bahan. Sensor LiDAR digunakan untuk memindai jarak dan menghasilkan data point clouds yang diproses oleh mikrokontroler ESP32. Data yang diperoleh dikirim ke laptop untuk visualisasi 3D dan perhitungan estimasi volume serta massa bahan. Sistem ini dirancang dengan komponen input, proses, dan output yang terintegrasi, termasuk tombol start, sensor LiDAR, dan tombol emergency. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tiga kondisi permukaan kalsium karbonat dengan permukaan rata, menggunung, dan cekung, untuk menguji akurasi sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan akurasi yang bervariasi, dengan kesalahan rata-rata 2,53% pada permukaan rata, 6,6% pada permukaan menggunung, dan 5,2% pada permukaan cekung. Perbedaan bentuk permukaan mempengaruhi akurasi pengukuran, dimana permukaan cekung menghasilkan volume yang lebih rendah dan permukaan menggunung menghasilkan volume yang lebih tinggi dari volume sebenarnya. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan efektif untuk estimasi volume dan massa, meskipun dipengaruhi oleh variasi bentuk permukaan.
