Abstract

This study examines the harmony of the "Luberan" tradition in implementing the Qur'anic moderation religious values. This study uses a qualitative method of the field research approach. This analysis shows that; 1) The Luberan tradition applies the four parameters of religious moderation compiled by the Director General of Islamic Education, Kemang, Republic of Indonesia. First, the Luberan tradition plays a role in strengthening nationalism, which is illustrated through the poem Sekar Gendhing Asmaradana as a Javanese song with the theme of love for the motherland, cultural preservation, and activities to protect the environment as a form of implementing its contents. QS. Al Qashash: 85 and QS. An-Nisa': 66. Second, tolerance education in Luberan culture can be seen through the interaction between Muslim and non-Muslim residents in organizing events, the habit of exchanging food, and giving each other. Third, a study on the theme of peaceful Islam shows the integration of QS al-mumtahinah verse 8 as an anti-radicalism and anti-violence educational model. 2) Cultural practices in strengthening the value of religious moderation are taught from generation to generation through religious rituals and mysticism in Luberan culture. This research contributes to finding the concept of strengthening the values of culture-based religious moderation. In addition, this research can also be used as a basis for the Ministry of Religion to integrate cultural practices as a vehicle for moderation in religion.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to empower the community's economy by providing socialization and training on processing corn into nuggets, so as to increase the income of the people in Glandang Village. This activity was carried out by providing training and assistance to the people of Glandang village in making corn nuggets. It is hoped that with this entrepreneurship program, people can take advantage of the potential of natural resources around them and improve their economic welfare. With the socialization of making corn nuggets, communication and relationships are created that are getting closer and can help villagers in processing corn in Glandang Village, Bantarbolang District, Pemalang Regency.

Abstract

Abstract

Numeracy and science literacy are essential competencies in navigating the increasingly complex global era. In this context, proficiency in English as an international language serves as a strategic advantage, enabling broader access to high-quality learning resources. This research-based community service aims to improve numeracy and science literacy among students at Pondok Pesantren in Pekalongan, by integrating English-based learning resources used service learning approach.. The program was introduced to improve students' readiness to face global challenges, focusing on strengthening their understanding of numeracy and science through English-based learning materials. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the program using statistically analyzed pretest and posttest data. The results showed an increase in mean score from pretest (5.44) to posttest (7.67), but statistical analysis showed that this increase was not significant. The normality test confirmed that the data distribution was normally distributed, which allowed the use of parametric statistical methods. The paired samples t-test showed no significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p-value = 0.093). However, the effect size analysis showed a moderate effect (Cohen's d = 0.636, Hedges' g = 0.606), which suggested that the program made a meaningful impact, although not statistically significant. These results suggest that although the program has potential, it needs improvements such as longer duration, larger sample size, and more effective teaching methods to achieve significant results. The study concludes that integrating English literacy with numeracy and science education has the potential to prepare students for global challenges, and the program can be further developed with stronger implementation strategies.

Abstract

Abstrak:Aspek penting yang dikaji dari artikel ini adalah pada tataran kebebasan yang merupakan titik tekan para eksistensialis dalam upaya penerangan eksistensi, yang hanya dapat dicapai dalam relasi dengan transendensi. Sehingga Karl Theodor Jaspers melihat ada dua fokus persoalan yaitu eksistensi dan transendensi, bahwa bereksistensi berarti berhadapan dengan transendensi. Transendensi menyembunyikan diri, dengan demikian transendensi merupakan dasar kebebasan manusia. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah berusaha untuk menggambarkan pandangan Jaspers terhadap konsep ketuhanan dalam kebebasan eksistensial manusia. Untuk mengkaji lebih jauh pemikiran Jaspers, metode yang penulis gunakan adalah library research dengan pendekatan analisis-holistik. Hasil dari artikel ini adalah Jaspers telah menggambarkan adanya kebebasan sebagai eksistensi manusia, dan merupakan kemampuan manusia untuk memutuskan dengan bebas. Adanya kebebasan yang dihayati akan mempertemukan eksistensi dengan transendensi, bagaimana manusia dalam situasi konkret dapat menjangkau transendensi melalui eksplorasinya terhadap chiffer sebagai medium menuju transendensi. Sehingga keyakinan Jaspers akan adanya transendensi yang senantiasa melingkupi merupakan kenyataan dalam kehidupan manusia secara otentik.Abstract:The important aspect that is studied in this article is the level of freedom which is the pressure point for existentialists in the effort to enlighten existence, which only can be achieved in relation to transcendence. So, Karl Theodor Jaspers sees that two focus issues are existence and transcendence, that existence means dealing with transcendence. Transcendence hides itself, therefore transcendence is the basis of human freedom. The purpose of this article is to attempt to describe Jaspers’ view of the concept of divinity in human existential freedom. To further examine Jaspers’ thoughts, the method that the author uses is library research with an analytic-holistic content approach. The result of this article is that Jaspers has described there is freedom as human existence, and this is the human's ability to decide independently. There is a freedom that is lived that will bring together existence with transcendence, how humans are in a concrete situation can reach transcendence. Through their exploration of Chiffer as a medium toward transcendence. So that Jaspers’ belief in the existence of transcendence that always surrounds is an authentic reality in human life.

Abstract

Technology-based learning media is one of the needs for a teacher to manage and design learning media by following the current developments. Using the Quick Response Code (QR-Code) as a learning medium further empowers students to play an active role in the teaching and learning process at school. This study aims to determine the implementation of the use of the QR Code as a learning medium in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively. This study's results indicate that using the QR Code as a learning medium is carried out through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The use of QR codes as learning media QR Code encourages students to be more active and teachers to be more creative in designing learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengulas pandangan salah seorang cendekiawan muslim Indonesia, Kuntowijoyo dalam melihat posisi ilmu pengetahuan dalam paradigma etis, baik teoritis maupun praksis. Hal demikian dilatarbelakangi dengan pendekatan etis ilmu (pengetahuan) yang berangkat dari sebuah keyakinan bahwa ilmu itu pada dasarnya tidak ada yang benar-benar netral atau bebas nilai yang justru ilmu sarat dengan bias-bias dan kepentingan dari para perumusnya. Artikel ini ditulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan didukung dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka. Dari pembahasan diketahui bahwa secara etis Kuntowijoyo melihat landasan ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak dapat berdiri bebas nilai. Paradigma demikian secara teoritis, terdapat empat aspek yang menurut Kuntowijoyo yang relevan untuk dibicarakan antara lain tujuan akhir paradigma Islam, keterlibatan paradigma Islam dalam sejarah, methodological objectivism, serta sikap terhadap ilmu-ilmu sekuler. Pada praksisnya, paradigma etis ilmu pengetahuan profetik dapat diwujudkan melalui tiga cara antara lain teorisasi, strukturasi, serta transformasi.
