Abstract

This study aims to place Civic Education proportionally as the right vehicle in preparing young citizens who are smart and good digital citizenship in the development of science and technology in the era of digital communication. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. With the results of conceptual research, there are differences in meaning between digital citizenship, digital citizens, and digital citizenship education. In today's digital era, the development of digital civic education in Indonesia should be a must. This is because the current era of digitalization has had a tremendous disruption impact on various aspects of people's lives, including in the world of education. However, the development of digital citizenship education in Indonesia must certainly look at various aspects of the opportunities and challenges that exist.

Abstract

Farming activities that require love of the environment, tenacity, creativity and responsibility are expected to be able to improve the productive and independent character of program participants. The target participants for this program are teenagers who take part in the taklim assembly. Implementation methods include surveys, outreach, training, mentoring, evaluation and reporting. The survey was carried out by visiting potential partners, requesting their willingness to partner in carrying out activities and determining the time and place for socialization and training activities on hydropnic farming as a form of backyard farming. Socialization and training were carried out by inviting mosque teenagers and parents of Islamic study students who were motivated to take part in the activities. Furthermore, mentoring activities are carried out periodically until the plants are ready to be harvested. After the first harvest, several partner members were interested in continuing backyard farming activities using a hydroponic system and growing plants in pots/polybags. The results of monitoring before reporting the progress of this activity show that it is ready to harvest for the second period and the hybrid red chili plants planted in polybags have started to bear fruit. This condition indicates that the participants' motivation to carry out production activities, one of which is backyard farming, is starting to grow. It is hoped that program participants will be skilled in carrying out backyard farming and be able to develop it into an additional source of family income, so that apart from being beneficial for a greener environment, it also provides economic benefits. In order to measure the success of the program, the implementers conducted a survey via questionnaire to participants regarding the participants' attitudes towards socialization and training activities as well as towards hydroponic cultivation as a form of backyard farming practice. The results of filling out the questionnaire have been tabulated and analyzed at the next stage

Abstract

Diversity is the face of Indonesia that is seen by the world. The real differences have a good impact if the development of tolerance is carried out in its education system. In this case, schools play a strategic role in becoming the leading institution that encourages the strengthening of tolerance values as is done at SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta. This study aims to analyze the role of schools in implementing Character Education in Purwakarta, especially in building tolerant characters. Through the case study method, this study involved teachers, students, school committees, and parents. The results of the study show that SMP Negeri 1 Purwakarta plays a role in (1) implementing every technical rule; (2) providing facilities and infrastructure to support every Character Education program; (3) striving to create an educational environment that is free to worship and has no restrictions whatsoever; (4) a party that strives to build tolerance in several educational bases; and (5) as a place to train students' characters to improve the quality of graduates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media digital untuk membentuk etika yang baik agar dapat mewujudkan warga negara muda digital yang cerdas dan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan mix method. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui wawancara, observasim dan dokumentasi di SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penyusunan model dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang menyeluruh serta mendalam sehingga menghasilkan komponen model pembelajaran seperti berikut: (1) pendekatan student center; (2) strategi yang digunakan adalah penggabungan pembelajaran berbasis nilai (value based education) dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning); (3) Metode pembelajaran menggunakan ceramah, diskusi, pembelajaran berkelompok, penugasan, dan presentasi; (4) menggunakan taktik problem social meeting dan brain storming. (5) materi memuat integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam konteks bermedia digital; (6) Media pembelajaran berbasis digital; dan (7) instrumen evaluasi disusun secara sumatif dan formatif. Selain itu, komponen model dikembangkan menjadi sintak yang jelas dan mudah dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: etika digital, model pembelajaran, warga negara muda

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kontribusi sivitas akademika terhadap upaya mitigasi lingkungan melalui penanaman pohon Trembesi (Samanea saman) di kawasan lereng Villa Arab, Desa Mekarbuana, Kecamatan Tegal Waru, Kabupaten Karawang. Kegiatan dilakukan oleh tujuh dosen dan empat mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) tanpa melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei lokasi, persiapan lahan, penanaman, dan pemantauan pertumbuhan tanaman. Sebanyak 30 pohon Trembesi ditanam di area yang berpotensi mengalami erosi akibat kondisi lereng yang terbuka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penanaman pohon ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan stabilitas tanah dan penghijauan kawasan lereng. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi bentuk edukasi praktis bagi mahasiswa dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai kepedulian lingkungan dan tanggung jawab sosial.

Abstract

Kurikulum Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di beberapa sekolah terutama pada pesantren masih belum secara optimal memasukan materi yang berkaitan dengan keberagaman dan toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Materi yang berkaitan dengan keberagaman dan toleransi dalam kehidupan disampaikan cenderung bersifat normatif tanpa membahas permasalah aktual yang sering terjadi dalam masyarakat. Akibatnya, banyak siswa yang memahami konsep toleransi secara teoritis, tetapi tidak mampu menerapkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Kurangnya pendekatan berbasis pengalaman juga membuat siswa sulit memahami dampak dari sikap intoleran hingga rasisme yang masih banyak terjadi disekitar. Faktor di sekitar lingkungan juga turut menjadi tantangan dalam pembentukan sikap toleransi melalui pendidikan. Tidak semua sekolah memiliki budaya inklusif yangn mendorong interaksi positif antara siwa dari berbagai latar belakang. Di beberapa daerah, degrasi sosial masih terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, dimana siswa cenderung berkelompok berdasarkan kesamaan etnis atau agama. Hal ini menghambat mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan kelompok lain dan memahami keberagaman secara langsung, dan membuat munculnya sifat intoleran. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan toleransi dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada para santri di Pesantren Sa’datul Muttaqien Seberang Muaro Jambi, meningkatkan pemahaman dan penghagraan mereka terhadap adanya keberagaman, dan mendorong pembentukan karakter santri yang nasionalis dan toleran. Tahapan dalam pengabdian ini melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, kemudian penerapan teknologi berupa media digital, pendampingan terakhir evaluasi dari keberlanjutan program. Pengabdian ini menghasilkan pemahaman mengenai keberagaman budaya dan sosial, kepedulian terhadap isu kewarganeagraan, penguatan sosial dalam ruang lingkut pesantrean khususnya santri dan juga guru asemakin meningkat.

Abstract

Perkawinan anak masih terjadi meskipun Undang-Undang Nomor 16 Tahun 2019 telah menetapkan batas usia minimum perkawinan 19 tahun. Fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya persoalan kesadaran hukum masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi rendahnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat etnis Jawa terhadap praktik perkawinan anak di Dusun Bumirejo, Desa Tapak Siring, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya kesadaran hukum dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang Undang-Undang Perkawinan, terbatasnya pemahaman terhadap tujuan penetapan batas usia, rendahnya penghargaan terhadap ketentuan hukum, tingkat pendidikan dan ekonomi yang rendah, kebiasaan budaya, serta minimnya sosialisasi hukum. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada masih berlangsungnya praktik perkawinan anak. Disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran hukum masyarakat masih rendah dan memerlukan intervensi edukatif. Disarankan adanya peningkatan sosialisasi hukum, penguatan pendidikan, serta peran aktif orang tua dan tokoh masyarakat dalam mencegah perkawinan anak.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education at the secondary school level is increasingly recognized as a strategic pathway to cultivate future-ready competencies beyond technical business skills. However, many school-based programs remain fragmented, focusing primarily on business projects without systematically integrating dispositional development and institutional support mechanisms. This study aims to develop and conceptually validate the Experiential Learning–Based School of Entrepreneurship (PEIR) model designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial character of high school students. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach adapted from Borg and Gall with a focus on the model development stage, including needs analysis, conceptual design, expert validation, and limited testing. Data were collected using a needs assessment questionnaire, expert validation sheets, a model feasibility observation checklist, a student perception questionnaire, and standardized instruments to measure entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial character. The results of the needs analysis showed pedagogical fragmentation, limited institutional integration, and the lack of a dispositional assessment mechanism that explicitly measures the strengthening of entrepreneurial mindset and character. The PEIR (Prepare–Experience–Internalize–Reflect) model was designed as a structured and integrated experiential learning cycle with institutional support and a multidimensional evaluation system. Expert validation results showed a very high level of content validity (S-CVI = 0.96) and excellent instrument reliability (α = 0.93). A limited trial showed a high level of model feasibility (90%), very positive student perceptions (M = 4.28), and moderate improvement based on N-Gain values for the variables of entrepreneurial mindset (0.43) and entrepreneurial character (0.38). These findings indicate that the integration of structured experiential learning within an institutional framework can produce meaningful dispositional reinforcement. Theoretically, this study contributes by integrating cognitive and affective-ethical dimensions into a single operational learning architecture. Practically, the PEIR model offers an adaptive and sustainable framework for schools to institutionalize entrepreneurship education oriented towards character building and entrepreneurial mindset.
