Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam menanamkan pengetahuan politik bagi siswa kelas XI melalui matapelajaran PKn di SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang mengajar kelas XI sebanyak 22 orang dan siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih yang berjumlah 141 orang. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam menanamkan pengetahuan politik pada saat proses pembelajaran matapelajaran PKn. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling kemudian ditetapkan 32 siswa kelas XI. IA. 2 dan satu orang guru matapelajaran PKn kelas XI. Simpulan pada penelitian ini diketahui guru telah melakukan upaya dalam menanamkan pengetahuan politik melalui matapelajaran PKn, hal ini dibuktikan pada tahap perencanaan guru membuat RPP dengan mengembangkan materi ajar, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang beragam dan relevan untuk menanamkan pengetahuan politik, menyiapkan media yang akan digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, dan membuat istrumen evaluasi berupa soal. Pada tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru melakukan upaya dengan mengangkat isu politik teraktual sebagai bahan belajar dengan menggunakan metode problem solving dan simulasi serta media pembelajaran yang relevan serta mengikutsertakan siswa secara langsung. Pada tahap evaluasi guru melakukan tes dengan memberikan soal tes, uraian serta skala sikap.Kata Kunci: Upaya guru, pengetahuan politik, pendidikan kewarganegaraan

Abstract

Radicalism is an understanding that can disrupt the integrity of the nation. Based on data from the Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT), the Indonesia radicalism potential index in 2021 is 12.2%, which is dominated by the youth generation. Various efforts need to be made to minimize the development of radicalism among the youth generation, one of the efforts that can be applied is by strengthening Pancasila core values ​​for the youth generation. This public devotion activity is carried out in the form of seminars in the Rectorate Hall of the University of Jambi and online via zoom and youtube with as many as 400 participants from the youth generation in Jambi province aged 17-23 years. The method of implementing the activities is divided into three, starting from the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The seminar was held in three sessions, the first session is an opening session on the challenges of radicalism in the global era for the younger generation, the second session is a deepening session on strengthening Pancasila values ​​to face the real challenges of radicalism for the younger generation, and the third session is an interactive dialogue between participants and presenter. The seminar activities succeeded in providing understanding to participants and inspiring participants to apply Pancasila core values ​​in anticipating radicalism in their daily lives.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat dari penggunaan E-Learning dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di prodi PPKn. E-learning merupakan system atau konsep pendidikan yang menggunakan teknologi sebagai pemanfaatan teknologi informasi pada proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara observas langsung terhadap dosen dan mahasiswa/i PPKn. Observasi langsung adalah sebuah metode yang dilakukan dengan cara melihat langsung atau terjun langsung ke lapangan terhadap objek yang akan diteliti oleh seorang peneliti. Observasi langsung ini dilakukan terhadap tenaga pengajar yaitu dosen matakuliah dan juga peserta didik yaitu mahasiswa/I prodi PPKn. Setelah melakukan observasi langsung yang menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. E-Learning pada zaman sekarang sangat dibutuhkan baik oleh tenaga pendidik maupun oleh mahasiswa/I sebagai peserta didik yang merupakan bagian dari keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini dapat kita ketahui nantinya secara langsung bagaimana pemanfaatan E-Learning dalam pembelajaran di prodi PPKn. Pada kenyataannya, hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan E-Learning dalam kegiatan pembelajaran belum maksimal. Sejatinya pemanfaatan E-Learning secara maksimal pada dasarnya dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di prodi PPKn. Kata kunci : E-Learning, Online Learning, Prodi Ppkn

Abstract

Students become agents of change who are expected to be able to become a generation of nations that are capable in various ways. Skills can be trained through the learning process, including by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that contains explanations and descriptions in the form of narrative text as the result of the analysis. Project-based learning is carried out through civics courses, students are required to have the ability to determine problem topics, compile work steps, set work schedules, utilize monitoring, present project results through presentations, and conduct evaluations as notes for improvement. In the process of working on projects, students' civic skills are honed, to be proficient in determining actions in completing delegated tasks. Students are required to be sensitive to problems and be able to provide solutions not only in the form of theory but in the form of real actions that are realized directly so that students will have the skills that are available and able to become good citizens.

Abstract

Cases of bullying and hate speech in Indonesia topped the ranking. Bullying   and  hate speech often occur when someone has shortcomings in themselves, both physically and mentally. The impact of bullying  and  hate speech for students is in the form of decreased appetite, headaches, embarrassment, and feeling afraid to hang out in social environments. Increasing students' understanding of   bullying and hate speech behavior can reduce cases of bullying and hate speech. Service activities are carried out at SMAS YPWI Jambi City. This activity is carried out with the aim of providing understanding and increasing knowledge of adolescents about bullying  and  hate speech  behavior and the consequences of psychological impacts. The method of implementing this activity is by means of counseling designed in the form of material presentation as well as discussion and question and answer. Through this activity students gain knowledge about  bullying and hate speech, know the forms and factors that influence  bullying and hate speech, types of  bullying and hate speech, and how to fight   bullying  and  hate  speech so as not to cause adverse effects on psychic conditions. The benefits of implementing this activity for schools are the awareness of the school on the adverse effects   of bullying and hate speech behavior so that they can carry out various policies to reduce and prevent cases of bullying and hate speech in schools

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, the use of information and communication technology has become an inseparable part of everyday life, especially the internet. In this case, the internet functions as a two-sided sword that can provide good benefits, but can also provide bad benefits. Students as a digital native generation who grow and develop in the midst of this technological development, face various problems in managing and utilizing technology wisely. To be able to overcome these problems, the socialization team conducted socialization activities on digital ethics as an effort to improve student civic skills in facing digital challenges. The purpose of this service activity is to increase understanding of digital ethics for students. The number of socialization participants was 30 students. From the results of these activities, a post-test evaluation was carried out using a multiple choice questionnaire via google form. The questions are written in the form of essays consisting of two answers Yes or No. The results of the google form questionnaire showed that 90% of students understood the digital ethics socialization material. Thus, it can be concluded that the socialization of digital ethics helps students improve the civic skills needed to face digital challenges.

Abstract

Perubahan jaman yang serba menggunaan teknologi menuntut dunia pendidikan menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dengan media pembelajaran yang mudah diakses dan menarik. Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia sebagai calon guru dituntut untuk memiliki keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif untuk menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang bermakna. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah melatih mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi construct untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di ruang L-102 FKIP Universitas Jambi yang diikuti oleh 28 mahasiswa. Pelatihan pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi construct ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan meliputi analisis permasalahan, penentuan metode pelatihan dan persiapan materi pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi pelatihan, pengembangan multimedia interaktif, pengumpulan karya. Tahap evaluasi untuk mengukur tingkat ketercapaian pelaksanaan dan memberikan masukan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan yang lebih baik. Ketercapaian pelatihan pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi construct berdasarkan respon dari 28 mahasiswa memiliki kriteria sangat baik dengan nilai sebesar 4,54.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of school dropout among children in South Jambi District and proposes strategies to address this issue. Conducted at the Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) in South Jambi District, Jambi City, the qualitative descriptive research employed observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. Informants included school dropouts, their parents, the Non-Formal Education Division's secretary, and SKB tutor teachers. Data analysis entailed data reduction, display, and verification. Findings revealed that school dropout stems from factors such as children's lack of interest, discomfort at school, academic difficulties, and parental regret over discontinuing their child's education. Additionally, environmental, parental, and economic factors emerged as prominent causes, while peer influence also played a role, with non-school-going friends discouraging attendance. Educational authorities and SKBs respond with interventions including teaching core subjects, skills development, and empowerment initiatives to reignite students' enthusiasm for learning. The study underscores the importance of parental, school, and governmental support to prevent school dropout and implement effective interventions.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menyasar satuan pendidikan sekolah dasar dengan tujuan menumbuhkan rasa cinta pada lingkungan sejak dini bagi para peserta didik. Kegiatan dilakukan selama kurang lebih empat bulan penugasan tim Kampus Mengajar. Tahapan kegiatan dimulai dengan penyusunan program, forum komunikasi, dan implementasi aksi nyata. Kegiatan dipilih berlandaskan ecological citizenship dengan tujuan menginternalisasikan kepekaan terhadap permasalahan lingkungan dan mampu mengambil peran dalam upaya penanggulangannya. Kegiatan yang dilakukan diantaranya adalah perilaku bijak sampah, pengelolaan sampah, dan menciptakan lingkungan hijau. Ketiga hal tersebut dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pembiasaan kepada para siswa untuk memiliki rasa peduli dan kepekaan terhadap permasalahan lingkungan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar mereka. Kegiatan ini juga didampingi oleh seluruh tim kampus mengajar dan pihak sekolah untuk bersama-sama saling bersinergi bahu membahu membimbing dan memberikan contoh secara langsung sehingga mampu menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap lingkungan pada peserta didik dan mampu mengimplementasikannya secara mandiri.
