Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine the meaning of the word "assimilation" and how it is commonly used in daily life. The research method utilized in this study was qualitative, employing a descriptive approach. Data collection involved conducting interviews and gathering documentation, while data analysis was performed using the Mills and Huberman method for data reduction, presentation, and extraction. The findings of this study indicate that the borrowed forms in the Indonesian language from Arabic are primarily related to three categories: nouns, adjectives, and verbs. Examples of borrowed nouns include chair, mosque, court, Islam, and Ramadan. Examples of borrowed adjectives include peace, justice, knowledge, poverty, ignorance, and injustice. Examples of borrowed verbs include jihad, marriage, zakat, friendship, and worship. الملخص كانت أهداف هذه الدراسة هو معرفة ما هي كلمة استيعاب وكيف يتم استخدام شكل كلمة استيعاب في كثير من الأحيان في الحياة اليومية. الطريقة المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة هي طريقة البحث النوعي ذات المنهج الوصفي. وطريقة جكع البيانات باستخدام المقابلة والتوثيق وطريقة تحليل البيانات من خلال طريقة ميلس وهبرمان من تخفيض البيانات وعرضها واستخلاصها. ونتائج هذه الدراسةتدل على أن أشكال المقترضة في اللغة الإندونيسية من اللغة العربية يعنى بثلاثة محاور هي أشكال الأسماء، أشكال الصفات، وأشكال الأفعال في اللغة الإندونيسية. أما بالنسبة إلى الأسماء مثل كرسي، ومسجد، ومحكمة، وإسلام، ورمضان. أما بالنسبة إلى الصفات كمثل سلام وعادل، وعالم، ومسكين، وجاهل، وظالم. أما بالنسبة إلى الأفعال كمثل وجهاد، ونكاح، وزكاة، وصداقة، وعبادة.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pendanaan di Pondok Pesantren Salaf Hidayatuth-Tholibin, Karangploso, Malang dengan fokus pada identifikasi sumber dana pondok pesantren (financing), pengalokasian sumber dana (Budgeting), dan mekanisme pertanggungjawaban keuangan pondok pesantren (Accountablity). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dengan pengasuh pondok pesantren dan analisis dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumber dana utama yang berasal dari iuran santri putra (iuran syahriyah) atau dana internal, sedangkan sumbangan masyarakat, dan bantuan pemerintah berasal dari dana eksternal. Pengalokasian dana tersebut difokuskan pada operasional harian, fasilitas pendidikan, serta pembangunan infrastruktur, meskipun pengelolaan pada dana menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan pendapatan dan ketergantungan pada subsidi dari pengasuh. Akuntabilitas keuangan dikelola melalui pencatatan yang terstruktur oleh bendahara pondok, sementara dana besar dari pihak eksternal dikelola langsung oleh pengasuh pondok pesantren. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya diversifikasi sumber pendanaan, perencanaan anggaran yang matang, dan pengembangan usaha mandiri guna mendukung keberlanjutan operasional pesantren. Abstract: This study aims to analyze the funding system at Pondok Pesantren Salaf Hidayatuth-Tholibin, Karangploso, Malang with a focus on identifying sources of boarding school funds (financing), allocating sources of funds (Budgeting), and the mechanism of boarding school financial accountability (Accountablity). By using a qualitative approach, data were collected through structured interviews with the caregivers of the boarding school and analysis of supporting documents. The results of this study show that the main source of funds comes from male santri fees or internal funds, while community donations and government assistance come from external funds. The allocation of these funds is focused on daily operations, educational facilities, and infrastructure development, although the management of funds faces challenges in the form of limited income and dependence on subsidies from caregivers. Financial accountability is managed through structured records by the boarding school treasurer, while large funds from external parties are managed directly by the boarding school caretaker. These findings emphasize the importance of diversifying funding sources, careful budget planning, and developing independent businesses to support the sustainability of pesantren operations. Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology innovation has had a significant impact on the process of completing academic assignments, particularly in Arabic language learning in higher education. This study aims to examine students' perceptions of the use of AI technology in completing Arabic language assignments, using Davis's (1989) Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theoretical framework, which focuses on two main indicators: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to explore students' experiences in depth. Data were obtained from nine purposively selected Master of Arabic Language Education students at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, then collected through in-depth interviews and analysed thematically. The results showed that students felt that AI technology innovation was very helpful in completing assignments, especially in accelerating information access, compiling academic papers, and increasing learning efficiency. However, students were also aware of challenges in the form of potential dependency and the risk of declining critical thinking skills. The conclusion of this study confirms that AI innovation has great potential as an effective support for academic assignments, with the note that its use needs to be directed wisely and supported by strengthening technological literacy.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of modern Arabic musical literature on Humood AlKhudher’s song Falasteen Biladi through a semantic analysis. The problem addressed in this research lies in understanding how modern Arabic songs, beyond their aesthetic qualities, serve as vehicles for articulating political, cultural, and social meanings. The song was chosen because its lyrics are deeply symbolic and emotionally charged, reflecting solidarity and pride for the Palestinian homeland while simultaneously engaging with broader socio-political contexts. The purpose of this study is to reveal the semantic strategies employed in Falasteen Biladi and to explain how these strategies contribute to shaping collective identity, resistance, and cultural diplomacy. A qualitative approach was employed, drawing data from the music video, song lyrics, social media discussions, and related articles. Data collection involved close listening, lyric transcription, classification of semantic features based on research questions, and enrichment with contextual information about Palestine’s socio-political situation. The analysis relied on semantic theories developed by Lyons (1995) and Leech (1981), with attention to denotative, connotative, affective, and social meanings. The findings show that Falasteen Biladi systematically constructs semantic meaning through the use of metaphor, symbolism, and deliberate diction. Surprisingly, beneath its patriotic and aesthetic tone lies a highly structured linguistic strategy that elevates the song into a form of cultural resistance against political domination. The study contributes to scholarship by demonstrating how modern Arabic music functions not only as artistic expression but also as a powerful medium of cultural diplomacy in global socio-political discourse.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Arabic vocabulary learning media based on Wordwall application using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at Al-Mahiraa IIBS Malang Junior High School involving seventh grade students as subjects. The analysis stage identifies learning needs and student characteristics, while the design and development stage produces interactive game-based learning media such as Speaking Cards, Matchmaker and Quiz. Validation by media experts and material experts showed a very high level of feasibility with an average score of 87.1%. The implementation in the classroom shows that Wordwall is effective in improving students' vocabulary understanding, as well as creating an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. Then the evaluation shows a positive response from students with an average percentage of 86%, although there are technical problems such as errors in the program. In conclusion, Wordwall media is proven effective and feasible to be applied in Arabic language learning, but still requires further development to optimize its use.
