Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of digital finance in supporting sustainable supply chains in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sei Semayang Village. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of MSME transactions. The research informants consist of MSME actors, suppliers, as well as financial and fintech institutions related to MSME operational activities. The results of the study show that digital finance, such as e-wallets, mobile banking, QRIS, and fintech platforms, is able to improve the efficiency of financial management, accelerate cash flow, and smooth the supply chain of MSMEs. The integration of the digital financial system with raw material procurement, production, and distribution allows the flow of capital and goods to run more stable and transparent. However, the adoption of digital finance is still limited due to low digital and financial literacy, limited infrastructure, and dependence on traditional suppliers. This research formulates a model for strengthening digital finance which includes digital literacy training, integration of financial systems with supply chains, collaboration with fintechs and suppliers, monitoring and evaluation of transactions, and support of technological infrastructure. This model is expected to increase the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of the MSME supply chain in Sei Semayang Village. The research findings provide practical contributions for MSME actors, financial institutions, fintech, and local governments in supporting the development of digital finance-based MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of compensation, leadership style, and work motivation on employee performance. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The research population consisted of all employees at the study object, and a census sampling technique was applied, resulting in 60 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that compensation, leadership style, and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, leadership style and work motivation significantly affect employee performance, while compensation does not show a significant effect. The coefficient of determination reveals that the contribution of the independent variables to employee performance is relatively limited, suggesting that other factors beyond the research model also influence employee performance. These findings imply that improving employee performance requires a greater emphasis on effective leadership practices and the enhancement of work motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of competence, compensation, and workload on employee performance at PT Waruna Shipyard Indonesia. The population of this study consisted of 413 employees, with a sample of 81 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. This study used primary quantitative data collected through questionnaires and processed using SPSS version 24. The analytical technique employed was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that competence, compensation, and workload, both partially and simultaneously, had positive and significant effects on employee performance at PT Waruna Shipyard Indonesia. Competence had a regression coefficient of 0.572, a t-value of 4.052, and a significance value of 0.000. Compensation had a regression coefficient of 0.244, a t-value of 2.975, and a significance value of 0.004. Workload had a regression coefficient of 0.247, a t-value of 2.542, and a significance value of 0.013. The F-test results showed an F-value of 142.478 with a significance value of 0.000. The t-table value was 1.991 and the F-table value was 2.723, indicating that t-count was greater than t-table and F-count was greater than F-table with a significance value below 0.05. Thus, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, indicating a significant effect. These findings indicated that hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4 were accepted and empirically proven, as the results were consistent with the proposed hypotheses. The most dominant variable influencing employee performance was competence, as it had the highest regression coefficient and t-value. Approximately 84.1% of employee performance was explained by competence, compensation, and workload, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors. Employee performance had a very strong relationship with competence, compensation, and workload, as indicated by an R value of 0.921.
