Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Efektivitas Model Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Quantum Teaching dalam Pembelajaran Matematika pada siswa Kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang fokus pada Efektivitas Model Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Quantum Teaching dalam Pembelajaran Matematika pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto yang terbagi menjadi 8 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 252 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.1 berjumlah 31 orang siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan bahwa siswa tersebut pernah diajar menggunakan Model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Quantum Teaching. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dokumentasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang diperoleh dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan pendekatan Quantum Teaching untuk siswa kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto memenuhi kriteria efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan model advance organizer pada pengajaran langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Binamu yang terdiri dari tiga kelas dengan jumlah siswa 67 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII.A 20 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.B 23 orang sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar matematika. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif mengungkapkan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 22,30 dengan standar deviasi 4,207 dan skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas kontrol adalah 18,84 dengan standar deviasi 4,122. Hasil analisis inferensial mengungkapkan bahwa nilai sign. (2-tailed) = , dengan demikian hipotesis ditolak dan diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Binamu pada materi relasi dan fungsi yang diajar menggunakan model advance organizer pada model pengajaran langsung dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode konvensional pada taraf signifikansi = 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model advance organizer pada pengajaran langsung dapat digunakan dalam pengajaran matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Binamu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Objectives. Based on observations, it was found that extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Jeneponto required further mastery of the basic techniques of Smash volleyball. To address this, an experimental study was conducted to determine the effect of two types of training - the hanging ball training model and the drill smash training model - on the smash skills of these participants. The research method utilized in this study was a group design. Materials and methods. The study focused on participants of the volleyball extracurricular activity at SMAN 1 Jeneponto. The sampling technique used was proportional sampling with a sample size of 16 participants, and the groups were divided using ordinal pairing. The analysis techniques employed included descriptive test analysis, data normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The analysis was conducted using SPPS Version 26.00 at a 95% significance level. Results. The data analysis shows that both the hanging ball training model and the drill smash training model have a significant impact on the smash skills of extracurricular participants at SMAN 1 Jeneponto. The t-values obtained for both models were much higher than the t-table value of 2.365, indicating a strong impact. Additionally, there is a significant difference in the impact of the two training models on the smash skills of the participants. Conclusion. Based on statistical analysis, it has been determined that the drill smash training model is more effective than hanging ball training. The analysis revealed that the observed t value of 7,000 is significantly greater than the t table of 2.145, with a significance level of 0.001, which is well below the alpha level of 0.05. In other words, the evidence strongly suggests that the drill smash training model is the more effective of the two training methods.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is still centered on the conventional model where the teacher has high authority while the student is the object of learning. This study aims to apply the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning method to increase student mathematics learning activities and outcomes. The type of research carried out is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with data collection techniques through observation sheets of student activities and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques use descriptive techniques. The subjects in this study were grade VII A students of SMP Negeri 7 Binamu, Jeneponto Regency. The results of this study show that the increase in student learning activity can be seen from the increase in learning activity of 11 students or 50%. In cycle I, there are 16 students or 72.73%, and in cycle II, there are 20 students or 90.91%; this result is by the specified indicators, namely the active and active categories, which reached 85%. The above reality is also supported by an increase in the average learning outcomes from 61.36 to 73.18 and 85.00 in the second cycle, with the level of learning completeness that also increased in each cycle, namely 5 students or 22.73%, in the first cycle there were 12 students or 54.55%, and in the second cycle there were 19 students or 86.36%. It can be concluded that the indicators of learning success criteria have been achieved in the second cycle, so the implementation of learning improvements is declared complete and complete in the second cycle.

Abstract

Taruna Alqolam Islamic Boarding School carries out community service by holding mural-making activities on the Islamic boarding school's walls to spread important messages to the surrounding community. The murals created by the students function as decoration and as a reminder of the importance of environmental cleanliness, local wisdom, and religious values. Through this service, the students also provide knowledge and skills to the surrounding community and strengthen ties between the Islamic boarding school and the local community. Discussion of the results of the service opens up space for in-depth reflection on the values ​​contained in the work of art and how these messages can permeate people's daily lives. Taruna Alqolam Islamic Boarding School has created an environment that promotes sound values, increases awareness of important issues, and inspires behavior under religious and moral teachings. Thus, this service benefits the surrounding community and provides valuable experience for the students in terms of contributing to society and strengthening the role of Islamic boarding schools in building a better and more sustainable society socially, environmentally, and spiritually.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Sosialisasi Cabang Olahraga Tonnis terhadap Mahasiswa FIK UNM. Masalahnya adalah: (1) kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa FIK UNM Terhadap Olahraga Tonnis, (2) kurangnya pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang cara bermain tonnis, (3) Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap peraturan bermain tonnis. Sasaran Mahasiswa FIK UNM adalah Para Dosen FIK UNM. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, demonstrasi, tanya jawab, dan pendampingan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) Para mahasiswa FIK UNM memiliki pengetahuan tentang olaharaga tonnis serta teknik dasar bermain bola tonnis., (2) Mahasiswa dan Dosen FIK serta Guru Penjas memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara bermain bola tonnis, (3) Para mahasiswa dan Dosen/Guru Penjas dan murid memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang aturan bermain olahraga tonnis.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to find out the phenomenon of Islamic education in Muslim countries. In general, Islamic education is education that is oriented towards the teachings of the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet saw. Islamic education is not only taught in the formal legal system which is carried out regularly but becomes a teaching that must be implemented in social life. In Muslim countries, Islamic Education is used as a formal education that must be completed based on government regulations. It is undeniable that Islamic education in Muslim countries has adopted a system of modernity so that Islamic education is oriented towards fulfilling physical needs. However, with this modernity, Islamic Education takes on a role as a practical function in realizing Islamic teachings as the absolute truth of Allah SWT.

Abstract

Stunting menjadi salah satu permasalahan gizi yang menjadi perhatian di dunia dan merupakan dampak yang irreversible akibat nutrisi yang tidak adekuat dan infeksi yang berulang selama 1000 hari pertama kehidupan seorang anak. Efek jangka panjang pada individu stunting diantaranya pada faktor kesehatan, perkembangan dan ekonomi. Pernikahan di usia dini turut mengakibatkan kasus stunting yang kian melonjak, disebabkan kurang siapnya pasangan suami istri dibawah umur mengenai asupan gizi yang cukup semasa kehamilan, kematangan psikologis dan organ reproduksi, serta pengetahuan tentang pola asuh yang benar. Permasalahan stunting karena pernikahan dini dan pola asuh anak yang tidak benar salah satunya disebabkan karena ketidak tahuan masyarakat terutama para pemuda dan orang tua. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyaraka (PKM) dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan pernikahan dini dan stunting dan akibat yang ditimbulkannya serta mencegah terjadinya stunting pada anak, dengan melakukan seminar tentang Pencegahan pernikahan dini dan cegah stunting dengan pola asuh anak.

Abstract

This study explores the transformative impact of literacy programs in underserved villages, employing a qualitative methodology to analyze the experiences of participants and stakeholders. Through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participant observations, the research examines how literacy initiatives contribute to individual empowerment and community development. The findings reveal that such programs not only enhance reading and writing skills but also foster social cohesion, economic opportunities, and a sense of agency among community members. The study underscores the importance of culturally relevant and community-driven approaches in designing and implementing effective literacy interventions.

Abstract

This article investigates the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) as a pedagogical strategy to cultivate critical thinking skills among junior high school students. Utilizing a qualitative research design, the study synthesizes insights from recent research and theoretical frameworks published within the last five years, employing classroom observations, interviews, document analysis, and focus groups to gather comprehensive data. The analysis highlights PBL's effectiveness in fostering critical thinking through student-centered, inquiry-based learning processes, emphasizing improvements in analytical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative communication. Key findings reveal that while PBL significantly enhances these skills, successful implementation is contingent upon addressing challenges related to teacher preparedness, time constraints, uneven student participation, and resource limitations. Strategies such as targeted professional development for teachers, structured scaffolding for students, and leveraging technology are discussed as potential solutions. The article concludes with recommendations for educators and policymakers, advocating for systemic changes to support widespread adoption of PBL and promote a shift towards more engaging, student-centered learning environments. This research contributes to the ongoing dialogue on innovative teaching practices that equip students with the essential skills needed for success in the 21st century.
