Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of employee motivation and organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Metal Smeltindo Selaras. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 160 employees as the sample. The sampling technique used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The results show that employee motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and OCB, and organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and OCB. Job satisfaction is proven to have a positive and significant effect on OCB. Furthermore, job satisfaction partially mediates the influence of employee motivation and organizational culture on OCB. These findings indicate that increasing employee motivation and fostering a conducive organizational culture will enhance job satisfaction and OCB, which in turn can improve company performance and productivity.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi mendorong transformasi digital yang mengubah cara organisasi beroperasi, termasuk dalam aspek kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran pemimpin digital dalam membentuk sikap dan cara kerja karyawan, serta memahami bagaimana dampaknya terhadap perkembangan organisasi modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka dengan mempelajari berbagai jurnal ilmiah dan buku referensi selama lima tahun terakhir melalui database seperti Google Scholar. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan digital tidak hanya tentang kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga melibatkan kemampuan untuk beradaptasi, mengambil keputusan berdasarkan data, serta memiliki kemampuan sosial dan etika yang baik. Kepemimpinan digital sangat penting untuk membentuk budaya organisasi yang kreatif, fleksibel, dan bekerja sama dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Selain itu, pemimpin yang baik bisa menjelaskan gambaran perubahan digital dengan jelas, sehingga para karyawan tahu tugas dan tanggung jawab mereka. Budaya organisasi terbentuk dari berbagai hal seperti artefak, nilai, dan asumsi dasar yang saling terkait satu sama lain. Keberhasilan dalam menerapkan kepemimpinan digital sangat tergantung pada kesiapan sumber daya manusia, khususnya kemampuan mereka dalam bidang digital. Maka dari itu, organisasi harus memberikan pelatihan dan peningkatan kemampuan karyawan. Secara umum, kepemimpinan digital terbukti memberikan dampak positif pada budaya kerja dan hasil kerja organisasi dalam masa transisi digital.

Abstract

Team communication is a crucial element that serves as the main foundation in shaping team effectiveness across various organizational contexts, ranging from conventional work teams to virtual teams in the digital era. This literature Review reveals the role of team communication through an in-depth analysis of 20 peer-Reviewed scientific journals from national and international sources published between 2015 and 2024. This approach highlights how effective communication not only facilitates information exchange but also builds trust, cohesion, and optimal team performance. Specifically, this Review discusses the definition of team communication, its main objectives such as task coordination and conflict resolution, its benefits including increased productivity and innovation, common barriers such as cultural differences and technological limitations, as well as improvement strategies such as the use of digital tools and psychological safety training. The results show that well-managed team communication can significantly enhance team effectiveness based on findings from various studies. Practical implications include recommendations for managers to integrate communication as a strategic priority, while future research suggestions focus on the context of post-pandemic hybrid teams.
