Abstract

The High-Value Dutch Teak Wood Finishing Training for Gunung Kelua Community Group is a programme that aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the local community in the finishing process of Dutch teak wood, a type of wood with high economic value in the international market. The programme is designed to support the development of small and medium industries (SMIs) in the region, focusing on sustainable and responsible use of local natural resources. Through this training, participants are expected to learn modern finishing techniques that can improve the aesthetics and functionality of the final product, understand the principles of effective design and project management as well as an understanding of environmentally friendly and anti-pollutant products. The training also covers important aspects such as knowledge of wood species and characteristics, selection of eco-friendly materials, surface treatment, finish application, and post-finish care, all of which are key components in the production of high-value Dutch teak. By adopting both practical and theoretical learning methods, the programme provides participants with hands-on skills and equips them with a deep understanding of the need to use environmentally friendly paint-based materials. The ultimate goal is to help the Gunung Kelua community group expand their market, increase income, contribute to the sustainable development of the local economy as well as sensitise them to the use of environmentally friendly materials. This programme is expected to become a training model that can be adapted and applied in other regions in Indonesia, especially in areas that have potential natural wood resources but still need technical support and capacity in processing and marketing high-quality products. Abstract

In Islamic law domestic conflict is referred to by the term nusyuz. The concept was taken from the Q.S. An-Nisa': 34 and 128. From this verse, when a comparison is made between the wife's nusyuz settlement and the husband, there is a difference in settlement pattern, both of which indicate discrimination against the wife. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the meaning of the sulhu in depth by interpreting the meaning of the sulhu in the settlement of the case from the nusyuz husband's interpretation perspective. This study used the content analysis method, a research technique to draw conclusions from legitimate data by considering the context. As for the results of this study, the reason for using the word "sulhu" in the settlement of the nusyuz husband is because it gives the parties freedom and opportunity to think about the best way to resolve their disputes even to cancel each other's rights from the latter, so that they can be able to do so. satisfying the parties to the dispute, bringing peace of mind and strengthening the bonds of friendship. In the settlement of the nusyuz wife according to the duties of a man in the family is as a leader who aims to protect and protect his family by educating and teaching it. As for the nusyuz husband, by way of sulhu (peace). Even when viewed from the asbabun-nuzul verse it is only one example of completion of the sulhu. Furthermore, the wife can also choose another way in order to benefit both. Which is essentially that sulhu is a very wise way for women to solve the nusyuz husband problem in the various ways they agree. It means that it is not true that sulhu makes women's position weak or there is discrimination against women, but sulhu is actually glorifying women themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of Islamic law regarding polygamy from a gender perspective, focusing on the comparison between classical jurisprudence (fiqh) teachings and contemporary interpretations. Polygamy is a complex issue in Islamic law, often sparking debates about gender justice, women's rights, and its relevance in modern social contexts. The research employs a qualitative approach with a critical analysis of classical fiqh texts and contemporary scholars' views. The findings reveal that classical fiqh teachings tend to position women in subordinate roles, emphasizing obedience to husbands. However, contemporary perspectives influenced by gender equality principles and maqasid al-shariah offer new insights that prioritize justice and the protection of women's rights. The study concludes that a gender-based approach can provide more relevant and equitable interpretations of Islamic law on polygamy for modern societies. It also identifies challenges in integrating gender equality principles into Islamic legal understanding, particularly amidst cultural resistance and conservative interpretations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on company value, while also testing whether profitability can moderate the relationship between CSR variables and company value. This is a descriptive quantitative study, and the population used is the consumer goods industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. The sample in this study was obtained through purposive sampling, resulting in 14 selected companies based on pre-determined criteria. The analysis methods used were multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), with classical assumption tests as prerequisites. In this study, the CSR variable was measured using the GRI Standards 2021, company value using Tobin’s Q, and profitability measured by ROA. The results of the study indicate that CSR has a negative and significant effect on company value, suggesting that CSR activities are not yet fully appreciated by the market as value creators. Additionally, the MRA results show that profitability is unable to moderate the relationship between CSR and company value. This finding indicates that even though companies generate profits, this is insufficient to strengthen the influence of CSR on company market value.
