Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup remaja pada kelompok FAKP (Forum Anak Kulon Progo) yang berada dalam pengawasan Dinas Sosial Kulon Progo. Pengabdi pada kegiatan ini adalah dosen prodi psikologi Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta dan mahasiswa dengan 15 peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa pelatihan kognitif perilaku berbasis kekuatan untuk mengelola kualitas hidup remaja. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala kualitas hidup yang digunakan diadaptasi dari skala WHOQOL_BREF (2004). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kognitif perilaku berbasis kekuatan dapat membantu remaja memahami diri, menemukan kekuatan dalam dirinya, mengelola emosi serta lebih produktif sehingga meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya.

Abstract

Sekolah inklusi merupakan salah satu prioritas nasional yang memerlukan solusi terfokus dalam upaya pemerataan dalam pendidikan dan implementasi sistem pendidikan yang adil tanpa membeda-bedakan, sehingga semua siswa termasuk mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus, mendapatkan kesempatan belajar yang setara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh emotional self control program terhadap dukungan sosial dan psychological well being pada guru di Sekolah Penyelenggara Pendidikan Inklusi Yogyakarta. Selain itu untuk menganalisis dukungan sosial dan psychological well being melalui emotional self control program. Pelatihan dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan durasi 4 jam per harinya. Penelitian ini desain eksperimen true experimental. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu guru di Sekolah Penyelenggara Pendidikan Inklusi Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 30 orang. Berdasarkan hasil, proses, dan hal-hal yang sangat memperngaruhi pelaksanaan intervensi yaitu ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada Dukungan Sosial, Psychological Well Being kelompok Eksperimen yang di ukur selama 3 kali yaitu Prates, Pascates dan Tindak Lanjut, sehingga dan Emotional Self Control Program terbukti efektif untuk memperbaiki dan merubah sikap, persepsi, cara berpikir, keyakinan serta pandangan pada guru sekolah penyelenggaran pendididkan inklusi. Selain itu, pelatihan Emotional Self Control Program ini menunjukan pengaruh positif terhadap Dukungan Sosial, Psychological Well Being pada guru sekolah penyelenggara Pendidikan inklusi.

Abstract

Unpleasant school experiences due to bullying, whether as a victim or perpetrator, can be a significant source of stress and reduce the quality of life for students (Mathew, 2015). The stress experienced by students will hurt intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. This will make students feel that the learning climate at their school is unpleasant (Souttera, 2013). This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of SWB through REBT in junior high school students in the city of Yogyakarta. In addition, this research is expected to become the basis for guidance and counseling teaching materials in junior high schools in the city of Yogyakarta. This research is action research carried out by researchers and collaborating with related parties which is adapted to the school situation. The REBT module and SWB measuring instrument used in thiprevious research developmentsprevious researchers' research. The measuring tool used to reveal the SWB of bullying perpetrators is the School Well-Being Scale (SWB Scale). The SWB scale refers to four aspects of SWB, namely having (school conditions), loving (social relationships), and being (self-fulfillment). The results of this research include significant differences in the School Well-Being of the Experimental group which was measured 3 times, namely Pre-test, Post-test, and Follow-up so that Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy was proven to be effective in improving and changing attitudes, perceptions, ways of thinking, beliefs and The irrational view of the bully becomes a rational view. Apart from that, there was an insignificant difference in the control group's School Well-Being which was measured 3 times, namely pre-testcarry-over effects and cofounding factors such as intense interaction and communication between the experimental and control groups caused thisperimental and control groups.

Abstract

Writing activities among higher education students are one of the primary activities. The declining interest and initiative in writing among students contrasts with the skills needed in the workforce. One way to enhance students' initiative in writing scientific papers is through coaching activities. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of Character Excellence Coaching in increasing Personal Growth Initiative (PGI) among students in writing scientific papers. The design used is one-group pretest and posttest design. The respondents were 7 students from Faculty X who are in their 5th and 7th semesters. The measurement tool used was the Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II. Wilcoxon test analysis showed a decrease in personal growth initiative scores after the intervention with a mean difference of 0.429 and a p-value of 0.850 (>0.05). This means that the Character Excellence Coaching intervention was not significantly effective in increasing the personal growth initiative among students.

Abstract

Workplace bullying is a criminal act committed by employees against other employees and can lead to a decline in self-confidence. Therefore, adversity intelligence is needed as a form of intelligence that will help individuals face and overcome difficulties such as workplace bullying. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between adversity quotient and self-confidence among employees who experience workplace bullying in Yogyakarta. The research method used a quantitative research approach with a correlational design, employing purposive sampling techniques, with the research subjects being employees who have experienced workplace bullying in Yogyakarta. Based on the correlation analysis results, there is a strong and significant positive correlation between adversity quotient and self-confidence among the research respondents. Therefore, it can be concluded that the higher an individual's adversity quotient, the higher their self-confidence.

Abstract

Work engagement is one component that can predict reduced turnover in Indonesia. Generation Z employees with high work engagement feel happier and can adjust their performance in uncertain situations. This study explores the role of employee happiness and adaptive performance on work engagement in Generation Z employees in Indonesia. This quantitative correlational study involved 342 participants of Generation Z employees who has worked for at least 1 year. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling.  This study uses three measurement for data collection, namely the employee happiness, adaptive performance, and work engagement scales which were administered using the Google form platform. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques conducted on SPSS. The results showed that employee happiness and adaptive performance were significantly associated with work engagement among Generation Z employees and explain 45.4% of the variance. This study highlights the needs of future studies to further explore other variable that may affect work engagement beyond to the two variables that have been studied. In addition, the result provides a theoretical basis in developing employee engagement programs for Generation Z employees.
