Abstract

Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengolahan ikan lele sebagai produk perikanan budidaya air tawar dan cabai sebagai produk tanaman hortikultura agar menjadi produk olahan bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Tahapan dalam  pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi empat tahapan diantaranya adalah  tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap monitoring dan tahap evaluasi. Desain yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu quasi experiment, untuk melihat dan mengukur pemahaman serta pengetahuan peserta pelatihan dengan membandingkan tingkat efektivitas pelaksanaan pelatihan sebelum dan setelah pelatihan yang diukur melalui one group pre-test dan post-test. Sedangkan tingkat kepuasan peserta dengan menghitung kecenderungan tinggi rendahnya nilai skor berdasarkan kriteria skor ideal. Hasil uji menunjukkan perbedaan  signifikan dengan nilai p-value 0.014 sedangkan pengukuran tingkat kepuasan 40% peserta sangat puas dan 60% peserta puas. Berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan pembuatan sambal botol ikan lele efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman warga Desa Karang Jaya Kecamatan Selupu Rejang Kabupaten Rejang Lebong akan pentingnya produk olahan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan lain yang berkaitan dengan pengolahan produk perikanan budidaya air tawar dan tanaman hortikultura agar produk olahan bisa dijadikan bekal berwirausaha bagi masyarakat Desa Karang Jaya Kecamatan Selupu Rejang, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu.

Abstract

The holiday in the month of Ramadan makes some parents confused about how to keep their children studying even though they are fasting. Where children sometimes only play gadgets which ultimately have no benefit for them. So, we held an activity with the theme “Interactive Worksheet to Improve Children's Literacy Ability. The purpose of this activity is for children to be able to improve children's literacy skills regarding the meaning of the holy month of Ramadan by using worksheets and increase children's activity in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan. One type of learning media or learning aids is student worksheets or also called worksheets. The formulation of the problem from this activity is; (1) How to improve children's literacy skills in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan? (2) How to increase children's activity in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan in using worksheets? This activity is carried out during the month of Ramadan 1443H, which is April 3 – May 2, 2022. The participants of the activity are all Indonesian children aged 5-10 years, who are committed to learning Ramadan knowledge with parental assistance. The results of this activity are from 19 participants, there are 14 participants who get the Excellent category with a score of 97% and 100%. The percentage of participants who were able to achieve the Excellent category was 74%, or most of the participants were able to follow well the entire series of Ramadan literacy activities. Students get the Deficient category are from 19 participants, there were 5 participants who got the Deficient category. The percentage of participants who get the Deficient category is 26% or a small percentage of participants are less able to take part in Ramadan literacy activities. Abstrak Libur pada bulan Ramadan membuat beberapa orang tua bingung bagaimana cara agar anak-anak mereka tetap belajar meskipun sedang berpuasa. Dimana anak-anak terkadang hanya bermain gadget yang akhirnya tidak memiliki manfaat bagi mereka. Sehingga kami mengadakan kegiatan yang bertema “Worksheet Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu agar anak-anak mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak mengenai makna dari bulan suci Ramadan dengan menggunakan worksheet dan meningkatan keaktifan anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan. Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran atau alat bantu pembelajaran adalah lembar kerja siswa atau disebut juga worksheet. Adapun rumusan masalah dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan? (2) Bagaimana meningkatkan keaktifan anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan dalam menggunakan worksheet? Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama bulan Ramadan 1443H, yaitu 3 April – 2 Mei 2022. Peserta kegiatan adalah seluruh anak Indonesia berusia 5-10 tahun, yang berkomintmen untuk belajar ilmu Ramadan dengan pendampingan orang tua. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu adalah dari 19 peserta, terdapat 14 peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Excellent dengan nilai 97% dan 100%. Persentase peserta yang mampu meraih kategori Excellent yaitu 74%, atau sebagian besar peserta mampu mengikuti dengan baik seluruh rangkaian kegiatan Literasi Ramadan. Siswa yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient yaitu dari 19 peserta, terdapat 5 orang peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient. Persentase peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient yaitu 26% atau sebagian kecil peserta kurang mampu mengikuti kegiatan Literasi Ramadan

Abstract

Dragonflies (Ordo Odonata) are attractive and colorful insects in aquatic and wetland ecosystems. Dragonflies have large, transparent and long wings which make them one of the most agile flying insects. Dragonflies are also one of the insects that are often used as water quality indicators. This study was to determine the diversity of dragonflies in three types of habitats and their correlation with environmental factors. The research was conducted in a residential area in Palembang City in November 2022 using the scan sampling method. The total number of dragonflies found was 18 species and 538 individuals divided into 2 suborders and 4 families. Orthetrum sabina dragonfly is the dominant dragonfly species found (136 sp). Meanwhile, Ischnura verticalis, Pseudagrion microcephalum, Agriocnemis rubescens and Nosoticta sp. is the rarest species of dragonfly to be found. The diversity value of the Shannon-Wiener index indicates that dragonflies prefer open habitats. Habitat shape and plant vegetation affect the number of dragonflies found, but does not affect the abundance of these dragonflies. The results of the analysis show that wind speed and temperature affect the presence of dragonflies during the observation.

Abstract

Cassava is a promising commodity with a high abundance in Maros Regency. Cassava is versatile, easy to store, and delicious. Despite this, the community's demand for cassava is very low. Cassava consumption is far lower than that of other commodities such as rice, corn, and soybean. As an alternative to wheat flour, cassava starch can be processed into mocaf flour. Mocaf flour is not widely known in South Sulawesi, so it is rarely found in traditional markets. This activity aims to introduce the community to the process of processing cassava into mocaf flour, allowing the abundant cassava to be used while also opening up promising mocaf flour business opportunities. This activity involved 30 Maupe Women's Empowerment Foundation members, most of were domestic workers and farmers. This activity was carried out by providing nutritional counseling on the nutritional value of mocaf flour, training in the manufacturing of mocaf flour and processed food products, and product sensory testing. As a result of this training, participants were able to process cassava into mocaf flour and create processed foods such as mocaf noodles, meatballs, and cakes. According to the sensory test, participants expressed a preference for processed foods with a favorability rating of 82-95% ABSTRAK: Di Kabupaten Maros, ubi kayu merupakan produk komoditas yang prospektif dan memiliki kelimpahan amat tinggi. Ubi kayu memiliki kemampuan beradaptasi yang tinggi, mudah disimpan, dan memiliki cita rasa yang enak. Meskipun demikian, permintaan ubi kayu di kalangan masyarakat amat rendah. Konsumsi ubi kayu berada jauh di bawah komoditas lain seperti beras, jagung dan kedelai. Pati ubi kayu dapat diproses menjadi tepung mocaf sebagai alternatif pengganti tepung terigu yang berasal dari gandum. Di Sulawesi Selatan sendiri, tepung mocaf belum dikenal secara luas sehingga amat jarang ditemukan di pasar tradisional. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat mengenai pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi tepung mocaf agar kelimpahan ubi kayu dapat dimanfaatkan sekaligus membuka peluang usaha tepung mocaf yang cukup menjanjikan. Karena itu kegiatan ini melibatkan 30 orang anggota Yayasan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Maupe, sebagian besar peserta merupakan Ibu rumah tangga dan petani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan mengenai nilai gizi tepung mocaf, pelatihan pembuatan tepung mocaf serta produk pangan olahannya, serta pengujian sensori produk. Dari hasil pelatihan ini, peserta berhasil mengolah ubi kayu menjadi tepung mocaf serta membuat pangan olahan berupa mie, bakso dan kue berbahan dasar mocaf. Berdasarkan uji sensori, diketahui bahwa peserta menyatakan suka terhadap olahan pangan dengan persentase kesukaan 82-95%

Abstract

Seberang Musi sub-district launched a food security program through catfish farming using tarpaulins in 2020. This is one way for the sub-district government to socialize household-scale fish farming, especially catfish commodities, so that people get additional income benefits by utilizing the yard around the house. The problems that exist in the residents of Talang Babatan Village and Benuang Galing Village are the lack of technical skills in fish farming, because both villages are villages that produce plantation products. Therefore, the service team was invited to provide training in an effort to succeed the village development program. In addition to being an effort to alleviate poverty in rural communities, and accelerate poverty alleviation programs in rural areas. The purpose of this activity is to provide training in catfish farming in tarpaulin ponds as well as a medium for disseminating knowledge and transferring technology through community service activities. The methods used were: 1. counseling to participants about catfish farming in tarpaulin ponds; 2. demonstration of methods and practices by giving examples of how to assemble tarpaulins as maintenance containers and how to handle fish directly to participants; 3. evaluation. The collected data were tabulated and analyzed using descriptive analysis method. The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the response of participants in the transfer of knowledge and skills. This was done by assessing the results of the initial and final questionnaires filled out by the participants. The results of the questionnaire showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge by 12.5% with a minimum value in the pre-test of 37.5 and a maximum value of 87.5 while the minimum value in the post-test was 50.0 and a maximum value of 87.5.

Abstract

The publication is the first step for transferring the results of thoughts and research widely to the public. Writing the effects of studies and research is required as a condition for the acceptance of scientific articles by a scientific journal. This training was purposed to improve the ability of teachers to produce scientific papers and practice skills in using Mendeley reference management in managing libraries. This research method includes survey, pretest, training implementation, practicum, and posttest. The workshop activity was carried out through WhatsApp Group, followed by 13 participants who followed the training until the end. The data from the pretest and posttest were analyzed using the Gain score method. The workshop results showed that the knowledge and skills of the participants increased by an average of 2,231 points. Another indicator is known from the ability of participants to apply Mendeley reference management in scientific articles. Currently, four participants have successfully published scientific papers in national journals. This training is considered beneficial and can improve the knowledge and skills of teachers in writing scientific articles with the help of Mendeley reference management. Abstract

Sorgum merupakan jenis tanaman serealia selain padi dan jagung yang telah lama dibudidayakan masyarakat di Desa Tritiro Kabupaten Bulukumba, Sulawesi Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kami sebelumnya, jenis sorgum yang terdapat di desa ini adalah sorgum merah. Budidaya sorgum merah oleh masyarakat setempat dilakukan berdampingan dengan jagung. Sorgum dapat beradaptasi pada berbagai lingkungan, terutama pada kondisi kekurangan air. Karena karakteristik inilah sorgum dapat tumbuh baik pada wilayah dengan distribusi curah hujan tidak teratur seperti di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai potensi sorgum sebagai pangan lokal kaya nutrisi masih sangat terbatas, padahal sorgum ini mengandung senyawa fenol yang dapat mencegah berbagai penyakit degeneratif. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat akan diberikan pelatihan pengolahan sorgum beserta bentuk diversifikasi sorgum menjadi beberapa jenis olahan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan mitra Tim Penggerak PKK Desa Tritiro. Sebanyak 26 orang peserta yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi jenis sorgum dan praktik budidaya sorgum di beberapa daerah, praktik pengolahan sorgum menjadi tepung sorgum dan diversifikasi sorgum menjadi beberapa jenis produk olahan. Diakhir kegiatan peserta diminta untuk mengisi angket penilaian kelayakan konsumsi produk melalui uji hedonik. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian terhadap warna, aroma, tekstur, rasa dan visual atau bentuk produk, diketahui peserta menilai dengan kisaran persentase 85 - 94%. Dengan demikian dua jenis produk olahan sorgum dinyatakan layak untuk dijual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran generatif terhadap self- efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 14 Gowa. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasy experiment menggunakan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan angket self efficacy. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif dan analisis statistic uji-t independen menggunakan SPSS 22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapat hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran generative lebih tinggi yaitu 81,70 kategori tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan metode konvensional yaitu 62, 59 kategori sedang. Self efficacy kelas eksperimen pada kategori sangat baik 44,12 % lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 29,41%. Hasil analisis statistik self efficacy dan hasil belajar didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,042 dan 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai alpha 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan model pembelajaran generatif terhadap self efficacy dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 14 Gowa. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Generatif, self-efficacy, hasil belajar.

Abstract

A small guppy ornamental fish contest was organized at the Rejang Lebong State Community College as a community service activity. The purpose of the event was to inform the public about the standards for high-quality guppies as defined by the Indonesian National Guppy Standard (SGNI) and promote the growth of ornamental fish farming in the region. The competition comprised of eight categories, encompassing contestants from both Rejang Lebong and other areas beyond the region. The implementation process consisted of several stages, namely planning, participant registration, technical setup, contest execution, exhibition and education, and evaluation. This activity effectively enhanced participants' comprehension of the attributes of high-quality guppies, methods of caring for them, and criteria for evaluating them in competitions. Furthermore, this event created prospects for economic empowerment by enhancing the value of fish sales and fostering connections among stakeholders. The assessment of the event revealed the necessity for comprehensive training and support in business management to facilitate future growth. The event showcased the capacity of instructional and competitive methods to foster community engagement and unlock the potential in ornamental fish farming.
