Abstract

This study examines the legal responsibilities of colleges in managing plagiarism cases within their contexts. The primary aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of internal regulatory frameworks related to plagiarism, the role of detection technology, the level of awareness within the academic community, case management practices, and the potential legal consequences. The research employs a library research methodology with a descriptive-analytical framework, involving an extensive review of literature and analysis of institutional policies. The findings reveal that while many colleges have established internal regulations to address plagiarism, there are significant deficiencies in their implementation, particularly concerning policy dissemination and enforcement of sanctions. Plagiarism detection technologies, such as Turnitin, are crucial for identifying instances of academic misconduct; however, their effectiveness depends on the proper understanding and application by both faculty and students. The study also highlights variations in the understanding of plagiarism among students and faculty, emphasizing the need for more comprehensive and nuanced educational programs.

Abstract

Socio-economic disparities in education remain a critical issue, particularly for marginalized groups who are often excluded from access, participation, and meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to propose a contextual-inclusive curriculum model as an innovative approach to address such disparities. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research analyzes 30 national and international journal articles published in the last ten years that explore the interrelation between curriculum, social justice, and inclusive education. The findings reveal that curricula designed to recognize the socio-economic diversity of learners can significantly enhance student motivation, self-confidence, and active engagement in learning. However, in practice, inclusive curricula are often implemented symbolically, failing to address instructional design, learning strategies, or assessment systems. Therefore, policy intervention, teacher capacity building, and community engagement are necessary to ensure inclusive curricula are genuinely and transformatively implemented in schools. This study contributes to strengthening the paradigm of equitable and socially just education in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This study examines the supervisory strategies employed in two Islamic educational institutions, MA Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng and MA Perguruan Mualimat Jombang, to enhance teacher competencies in various aspects such as pedagogy, professionalism, and personal development. Using a qualitative, multisite approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research reveals that academic supervision plays a significant role in improving the teachers' instructional planning, teaching methods, and evaluation processes. However, challenges such as time constraints, limited resources, and inconsistent supervision practices were identified. While both madrasahs share common supervisory strategies, such as regular feedback and peer collaboration, they differ in their intensity and resources for implementation. This study highlights the need for a more structured and resource-backed approach to academic supervision to overcome existing barriers and ensure sustainable teacher development. The findings contribute to the understanding of effective supervisory practices in Islamic education, emphasizing the importance of leadership and contextual strategies for teacher improvement.
