Abstract

Keberadaan penyu telah terancam punah, baik dari alam maupun kegiatan manusia. Pakan yang paling tepat untuk tukik penyu hijau sampai saat ini belum diketahui. Pemberian pakan yang paling tepat akan mempengaruhi tingkat pertumbuhan tukik pada saat dilepas ke laut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pakan yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan tukik penyu hijau. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2016 sampai bulan Juli 2016 di Pantai Tongaci Sungailiat. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan 3 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tukik yang diberi pakan udang kering lebih baik daripada pakan ikan teri dan pelet. Hubungan panjang dan berat bersifat allometrik negatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terlihat bahwa F hitung < F tabel (0.05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tukik penyu hijau.

Abstract

Muara sungai merupakan ekosistem yang produktif karena adanya penambahan bahan organik dan anorganik yang berasal dari air sungai dan air laut. Muara Sungai Kurau diduga telah mengalami pencemaran akibat aktivitas domestik yang terjadi di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pencemaran Muara Sungai Kurau berdasarkan parameter biologi (plankton) dengan indeks saprobitas plankton serta menganalisis pengaruh parameter lingkungan terhadap kelimpahan organisme plankton. Pengamatan dilakukan berdasarkan analisis SI (Saprobik Indeks) dan TSI (Tropik Saprobik Indeks) dari sampel air yang di ambil di Muara Sungai Kurau bulan Januari-Februari 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai SI dan TSI Stasiun I dan II berkisar pada 1,24 s/d 1,37 dan 1,49 s/d 1,5 yang termasuk β – Mesosaprobik atau tercemar ringan hingga sedang, sedangkan nilai SI dan TSI stasiun III yakni 1,56 dan 2,52 termasuk oligosaprobik atau tercemar ringan/belum tercemar. Berdasarkan kriteria, maka kualitas biologis perairan Muara Sungai Kurau termasuk tercemar ringan hingga sedang. Berdasarkan analisis koefisien korelasi, parameter salinitas, kecepatan arus, COD dan nitrat memiliki korelasi yang sangat kuat (0,80 – 1,00), parameter BOD memiliki korelasi yang cukup (0,40 – 0,599), parameter kedalaman memiliki korelasi kuat (0,60 – 0,799), sedangkan parameter TSS, DO, suhu, pH dan phosfat memiliki korelasi sangat lemah (0,00 – 0,199)

Abstract

Mabat river is upstream watershed Baturusa which has a length of 15 km. Mabat river utilized for bathing, washing and fishing. Utilization Mabat River is no longer optimal due to the effect of effluent disposal plant oil palm. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of the Mabat river water of the effluent disposal plant oil palm. This study was conducted in February 2016 in Mabat river, Bangka District. Data retrieval consists of four stations. Station 1 on rivers that have not been exposed to effluent disposal palm. Stations 2, 3 and 4 on the river that has been exposed to effluent disposal palm. Methods of data analysis used the Pollutant Index method. The results obtained in the analysis of the sample is then compared with the first class water quality standards based on Government Regulation number 82 of 2001. Station 1, 2, 3 and 4 show the status of water in blackened mild conditions with the value of each 1,554; 1,802; 2,136 and 2,675.

Abstract

Reef fish are organisms that live in reef area. Their life depend on coral reef condition the purpose of the research are to know diversity and abundance of reef fish, to know coral lifeform percentage, to describe the association of coral reef fish and to know chemical. The research was done in June 2015. The method used is Belt Transect. Data analysis includes diversity index, uniformity, dominance, species composition, species abundance, relative density, frequency of attendance, lifeform percentage and association of reef fish with coral reef. Diversity index of Karang Rulak is 2,329 and Karang Kering is 1,711. Uniformity index of Karang Rulak is 0,908 and Karang Kering 0,879. Dominance index of Karang Rulak 0,113 and Karang Kering is 0,209. Reef fish that found in Karang Rulak are 13 species and Karang Kering are 7 species. The highest of Reef fish abundance in Karang Rulak is Cephalopholis boenak that 55 individual/300m2 and the lowest is Acanturidae that 2 individual/300m2. The highest of Reef fish abundance in Karang Kering is Pentapodus sp that 45 individual/300m2 and the lowest is Abudefduf sexfasciatus that 4 individual/300m2. The cover lifeform percentage in Karang Rulak is 69,91% and Karang Kering is 24,57%.

Abstract

Tin mining in River Pakil used by floating mining. Mining activities would negatively effect to water quality and threaten biodiversity of fish resources. This study aims to know fish diversity in River Pakil and to analyze fish diversity differences between River Pakil and River Pembalu.. The experiment was conducted in January until February 2016 in Pakil and Pembalu river. This study using purposive sampling method with a set of three stations represent the (upstream, midstream and downstream). Fishing gear used for sampling fish are gill nets, traps and scoop. Results showed 378 individuals and 6 species 9 families of fish found in Pakil River, While results obtained 1590 individuals and 8 species 15 families of fish found in Pembalu River. Fish Diversity in Pembalu River are between 0,179 – 2,015 but fish diversity in Pakil River are between 0,232 – 1,672. River that has mining activities influenced have less species of fish than natural river.

Abstract

Threadfin Bream (Nemipterus sp.) became the main commodity because has high economic value in Bangka. The purpose of the study are to analyze Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), to determine fishing season and to Maximum Economic Yield (MEY). This research was done from January to April 2015, in Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Sungailiat. Data collected include fishing activity (questionnaire), income, catch and effort from 2005 to 2013. The results showed that slope (b) is still positive, it means the resources are still abundant and overfishing has not happened yet. Fishing season occurred in February (102.972%), March (126.315%), April (134.570%), Mei (119.313%), June (109.783%), July (107.789%), and October (100.518% ). Maximum Economic Yield (MEY) Estimation is 4.837.513 kg / year and Effort of Maximum Economic Yield (FMEY) is 183.038 trips / year.

Abstract

Masyarakat Dusun Tuing Bangka hampir 75% berprofesi sebagai nelayan, selain ada tangkapan utama ada juga tangkapan sampingan seperti ikan pepetek yang tidak memiliki nilai ekonomi. Karateristik ikan pepetek dengan duri yang keras dan banyak, hal ini yang menyebabkan ikan pepetek tidak memiliki nilai ekonomi, sehingga alternatif pengolahan ikan pepetek adalah dengan presto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu terbaik pada taraf perebusan olahan hasil tangkapan sampingan ikan pepetek presto berdasarkan tingkat daya terima masyarakat dan mengetahui kandungan kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein, dan kadar lemak. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni tahun 2016. Data kuisioner berasal dari 50 orang panelis. Data kuisioner dianalisis dengan analisis Kruskal Wallis dan uji lanjut analisis uji T student. Berdasarkan hasil analisis (P>0,05) rasa, aroma, dan tekstur berbeda nyata. Hasil uji lanjut dengan adanya perbedaan secara signifikan adalah pengujian pada rasa dan tekstur, dengan taraf waktu perebusan terbaik adalah 120 menit. Hasil uji proksimat pepetek presto taraf waktu 120 menit adalah kadar air: 41,82%, kadar abu: 5,85%, kadar lemak: 12,57%, dan kadar protein: 11,86%.

Abstract

Ikan Kurisi (Nemipterus furcosus) yang didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Sungailiat memiliki nilai ekonomis penting bagi masyarakat Pulau Bangka. Informasi tentang aspek reproduksi diperlukan untuk pengelolaan berkelanjutan lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aspek reproduksi ikan Kurisi bulan Maret sampai Mei: Rasio Kelamin (sex ratio), Tingkat Kematangan Gonad (TKG), Indeks Kematangan Gonad (IKG), Fekunditas, dan Umur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2015. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rasio kelamin ikan jantan dan betina adalah 1,1:1. Ikan jantan dan betina berada pada TKG I sampai TKG III. Perkembangan gonad ikan betina lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan jantan ditinjau dari 3 bulan penelitian. Indeks Kematangan Gonad ikan jantan berkisar antara 0,000057 sampai 0,006622 dan ikan betina berkisar antara 0,000542 sampai 0,02498. Fekunditas ikan pada umur 2 tahun sebanyak 40.921 dan umur 3 tahun sebanyak 39.728. Umur ikan jantan dan betina yang ditemukan antara 2 tahun dan 3 tahun. Kisaran panjang jantan antara 164–250 mm dan betina antara 165–240 mm. Pertambahan panjang tubuh seiring dengan pertambahan lingkaran pada otolith. Hal ini terjadi karena hasil metabolisme ikan dimanfaatkan untuk pertumbuhan dan penambahan lingkaran otolith.

Abstract

One of the simple fishing gear that is used by fisherman of Tuing is fishing gear or hand line fishing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence and effectiveness of oil palm rumpon on the catch fish in the fishing area of Tuing, Bangka Regency. The results of research of oil palm rumpon to the catching fishing catches states there is a significant influence on the catch fish. The catch of fishing line during research was 7 species of fish, there are Ephinephelus timorensis, Lutjanus madras, Lutjanus erytropterus, Nemipterus furcosus, Nemipterus bipunctatus, Lutjanus russeli, Arius thalassinus. The number of fish caught at the point using the rumpon as much as 28.58 kg while at the point of not using rumpon as much as 6.37 kg

Abstract

Under water lamp (Lacuda) is one of the solutions to the problems of lift net fisherman who uses lights above the water level. Lacuda technology is less developed, fishermen have difficulty to make improvements, difficult to find stores selling Lacuda, and the price is still relatively expensive. LED lamps have better specifications when compared with incandescent lamps. This study aims to find out how to assemble lacuda using LED lights, analyzing the productivity of lift net using LED lacuda lights, knowing the characteristics (weakness of excess) lacuda LED light and its development strategy. The method used in this research is fishing or experimental fishing trials and data analysis using comparative descriptive analysis. The catch with Lacuda LED is 95.6 kg and the catch with fishing light is 73.7 kg. SR analysis showed a real effect between the type of lamp treatment with F count 5.0892 and F table 4.38 with 95% confidence level. Further test of DMRT showed that LED lacuda treatment gave the highest yield on fish catch in lift net . Characteristics of advantages and disadvantages lacuda LED operational cost-effective, providing more catch, easy to carry. Lacuda LEDs are prone to leakage, using multiple cables, simple dim systems
