Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in statistical reasoning and numeracy skills between two groups of PG-PAUD Study Program students. Using a quantitative comparative approach, all 49 PG-PAUD students enrolled in statistics during the 2025/2026 even semester were included, divided into class A (25 students) and class B (24 students). The second group used IBM SPSS Statistics and the VClass platform for equivalent learning. Data were obtained through a digital-based final semester exam with 25 multiple-choice questions assessing statistical reasoning. Data analysis included normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an independent sample t-test and effect size analysis using Cohen’s d with IBM SPSS Statistics at a significance level of 0.05. Results show no significant difference in numeracy abilities in statistical reasoning between classes (t = 1.295; sig. = 0.201 > 0.05; Cohen's d = 0.37). Although class A had a higher average score (M = 81.28; SD = 13.99) compared to class B (M = 76.00; SD = 14.54), this difference was not statistically significant, and the effect size was small. Indicator analysis highlighted that students excelled most in selection analysis, but scored lower in understanding concepts, interpreting, and drawing conclusions. These findings underscore that while technology-based learning yields comparable statistical reasoning results, there is still room for deeper skill development

Abstract

The digital transformation of Islamic public services has significantly reshaped marriage administration practices within the Offices of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Marriage Management Information System (SIMKAH) at KUA Gandus, Palembang, and examine its role as a form of administrative da‘wah and digital Islamic governance. This research employed a qualitative case study approach using semi-structured interviews, documentation, and thematic analysis. The participants consisted of penghulu, SIMKAH operators, administrative staff, Islamic religious counselors, and prospective brides and grooms involved in SIMKAH-based marriage services. The findings reveal that SIMKAH has transformed conventional marriage administration into a more efficient, transparent, and digitally integrated public service system. The implementation of SIMKAH improves administrative accuracy, accelerates registration procedures, strengthens legal marriage awareness, and expands public accessibility to Islamic marriage services. The study further demonstrates that SIMKAH functions not merely as a technological administrative instrument but also as a medium of administrative da‘wah through digital legal education and institutional guidance. However, several challenges remain, including digital inequality, limited technological literacy, and unstable internet infrastructure. The novelty of this study lies in introducing the concept of administrative da‘wah within digital Islamic public services, where Islamic bureaucracy simultaneously functions as a mechanism of governance, religious education, and social transformation.

Abstract

This study explores the internalization of Islamic business ethics in a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and its implications for trust and business sustainability. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research was conducted at the Markisaku Syrup enterprise through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that ethical values honesty, justice, transparency, and care are embedded in daily business practices through leadership example and routine activities rather than formal governance systems. Honesty and justice are strongly reflected in product quality, fair employee treatment, and equitable business relationships. Transparency is partially implemented, particularly in product information, while financial reporting remains less structured due to resource limitations. The study also reveals that ethical practices play a crucial role in building trust among consumers, employees, and business partners. This trust strengthens relationships and supports long-term business sustainability. The findings suggest that practice-based ethical internalization can serve as a strategic foundation for SME development, even in the absence of formal institutional structures.

Abstract

Essay writing is an important academic skill in higher education because it requires not only language proficiency but also critical and analytical thinking. However, existing teaching materials often do not fully support students in developing these skills. This study aims to analyze students’ needs for genre-based essay writing teaching materials in the Indonesian Language Education program. The research used a descriptive quantitative approach involving 150 undergraduate students from UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu and IAIN Curup. Data were collected using a 15-item questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale, covering content, language, structure, and media aspects. The results showed a needs score of 60.16%, categorized as “needed,” indicating that current materials are still insufficient. Students need clearer explanations, structured writing steps, genre examples, simple academic language, and supportive visual media. All questionnaire items were valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.971). Therefore, systematic, student-centered teaching materials need to be developed to support essay writing instruction better.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of podcasts on the YouTube platform as a form of da’wah transformation in the digital era. The focus of the study includes the role of podcasts in expanding the reach of da’wah, message delivery strategies, audience impact, and challenges in digital da’wah practices. The research method employed is a literature review, analyzing scholarly journals, books, and academic publications related to digital da’wah and podcast-based religious communication. A descriptive-analytical approach is used to identify trends and key findings from previous studies. The findings indicate that YouTube podcasts contribute significantly to enhancing the accessibility and reach of da’wah, particularly among younger generations who are closely engaged with digital technology. Various podcast formats, such as sermons, discussions, and interactive interviews, encourage innovation in conveying religious messages in a more contextual and engaging manner. Podcast-based da’wah content also has a positive impact on religious understanding, the strengthening of religious identity, and the development of constructive social behavior. However, challenges such as content competition, production quality, and the potential spread of misinformation remain critical concerns. Therefore, future research is recommended to conduct empirical studies on the effectiveness of da’wah podcasts and to further explore ethical and digital literacy aspects in managing digital da’wah content.

Abstract

This study examines the application of Islamic business ethics values in the operations of the MSME Dendeng Pucuk Ubi Wak Idah, and their influence on the sustainability and reputation of the business from the perspective of customers and the surrounding community. The main problem addressed is how Islamic ethical values are implemented in business practices and how these values foster customer trust and loyalty. The research employs a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews with key informants, including the business owner, employees, customers, suppliers, religious leaders, and neighbors. Findings reveal that honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and fairness are the fundamental principles consistently upheld in the business. These values not only build a positive reputation and harmonious relationships with stakeholders but also strengthen the business’s sustainability through customer trust and community support. This study contrIbutes to MSME management theory by incorporating spiritual and social relationship dimensions as key factors for success. In conclusion, the comprehensive internalization of Islamic business ethics is crucial in maintaining and developing MSMEs. Practical recommendations are offered for MSME practitioners to integrate these values to enhance trust and competitiveness, and for future research to expand studies to other MSME sectors.
