Abstract

Diaper rash is a skin problem in the genital area of ​​infants and toddlers, which is characterized by the appearance of red patches on the skin. Baby's skin is still sensitive because its functions are still developing, especially in the epidermis or the outermost layer of the skin which provides natural protection for the skin from the surrounding environment. Continuous use of diapers for too long will increase the sensitivity of the baby's skin so that it can cause skin irritation. That's why baby's skin is more sensitive and prone to skin disorders. Disorders that usually arise in the form of a skin rash known as diaper rash or diaper rash. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of instant diapers and the incidence of diaper rash in toddlers aged 0-3 years at PMB Ani Maheasy SST, Kab. Lamongan Year 2021. The design in this research is an observational analytic with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all toddlers aged 0-3 years at PMB Ani Maheasy, SST Lamongan from January to February 2021. A sample of 29 people was obtained using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The independent variable is diaper use and the dependent variable is the incidence of skin irritation. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet in the form of a checklist regarding the variables of diaper use and the incidence of skin irritation compiled by researchers who had conducted validity and reliability tests, then the results were analyzed using the chi square test with a significant level of = 0.05. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Chi-square value, the results of p value: 0.000 < α:0.05 indicate that there is a relationship between the use of instant diapers and the incidence of diaper rash in toddlers aged 0-3 years at PMB Ani Maheasy SST, Kab. Lamongan Year 2021. p value: 0.000 < α:0.05. The solution for using diapers with skin irritation in toddlers is by washing their hands with regular soap before touching the baby's genitals, and the mother's behavior in playing an important role in caring for the little one should check the baby's diaper as often, if skin irritation occurs, apply a cream/ointment to prevent irritation. It is expected that existing health workers such as posyandu cadres can provide information about how to use instant diapers properly, such as information about when is the right time to change diapers and the right type of diaper to use on babies to avoid rashes in babies as a result of using instant diapers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan “Portal Layanan Mahasiswa (POLAM)” pada UPNVJT menggunakan metode Servqual.Rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana tingkat kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan POLAM yang diukur melalui lima dimensi servqual. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui besarnya kepuasan pengguna terhadap layanan yang diberikan Website Portal Layanan Mahasiswa (POLAM) menggunakan pendekatan servqual.

Abstract

The development of interactive learning media is the key to creating quality students. Canva as design application is an effective tool in creating interactive learning media in schools. KKN activities at SMPN 32 Surabaya aim to develop students' creativity through the Canva application to create a creative and innovative generation and realize responsive learning. The activity was held on Thursday 30 November 2023 involving 30 participants from class 7E of SMPN 32 Surabaya. Activities are carried out using a participatory method with 3 implementation stages, namely program planning, program implementation and program assessment. The results of this activity received a positive response with a satisfaction level reaching 78%. Survey results show that 70% of participants will use Canva as a learning medium and 53% of participants will use Canva as a tool to develop creativity.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam kehidupan, sehingga setiap individu berhak untuk memperolehnya dan didorong untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikannya, termasuk pendidikan dalam berbahasa asing. Akan tetapi, kesenjangan pendidikan masih menjadi tantangan besar di banyak negara, termasuk Indonesia, terutama bagi anak-anak di panti asuhan yang seringkali kekurangan akses terhadap sumber daya pendidikan yang berkualitas. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini memperkenalkan dan melatih penggunaan aplikasi Duolingo sebagai alat bantu belajar bahasa asing di Panti Asuhan Ulul Azmi. Dengan melibatkan 18 peserta dari tingkat dasar hingga sekolah menengah, pelatihan mencakup pretest, pemaparan materi berbagai fitur Duolingo, sesi praktek langsung, dan post test. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan, menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman bahasa asing peserta, dengan skor rata-rata post test sekitar 92 dibandingkan skor pretest sekitar 63, serta tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap pelatihan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti Duolingo dapat meningkatkan hasil pendidikan secara efektif dan membekali anak-anak panti asuhan dengan keterampilan penting untuk masa depan yang lebih cerah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and price on the decision of smartphone purchase. A purchase decision is a process that consumers go through to choose and buy a product or service to meet their needs and desires. High product quality and good at affordable prices are the main factors that drive consumers to buy a product by considering the quality and price ratio in making decisions at the time of purchase. Consumer satisfaction in product quality is very important in maintaining the existence of a company or business unit makes an understanding of digital marketing, product quality and service quality cannot be seen low. The population in this study were smartphone consumers from among IAIN students Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, determining the number of samples by spreading questionnaires and sample 55 people obtained. The data collection techniques through this questionnaire have been carried out validity tests, rallies and classical assumptions. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of this study, the results were obtained that partially shows the quality of the product had a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision, then the price of a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision. While simultaneously or along with the quality of the product and the price affects the smartphone purchase decision. The study provides implications for smartphone manufacturers to improve product quality and offer competitive prices to increase the smartphone purchase decision by IAIN students Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe II merupakan suatu penyakit kronik yang sering dijumpai di masyarakat dan masih menjadi beban kesehatan khususnya di Indonesia. Kegiatan penyuluhan, edukasi maupun pemeriksaan dini terkait resiko DM tipe II menjadi suatu cara untuk dapat menurunkan angka kejadian DM tipe II di masyarakat. Pada kegiatan PKM ini, telah dilakukan sesi penyuluhan atau pemaparan materi yang cukup komprehensif terkait penyakit DM tipe II, skrining serta konseling antar individu. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat akan resiko, penyebab, komplikasi serta bagaimana mencegah terjadinya DM tipe II, hal ini terlihat dari perbedaan nilai pre-test dan post-test.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is defined as a condition where blood pressure persistently increases. PLANTATION (Prevention of Hypertension) 2024 is a social service activity carried out at the Rambutan RPTRA, Tanjung Duren which aims to identify risk factors that can cause hypertension. Method: 34 people participated in PLANTATION, which began with an anammesis , physical examination consisting of measurement of body mass index  (BMI), blood pressure, and current blood sugar. Then it ends with providing education about hypertension. Results: There were 17 out of 27 participants that had hypertension,  18 out of 27 participants were overweight , and from the current blood sugar results, the majority of participants who had diabetes were women and in the age group 46 -60 years. Conclusion: Risk factors of hypertension in the community in the RPTRA of Tanjung Duren District were identified as obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of globalization on the citizenship curriculum in Indonesian schools. As globalization integrates and connects diverse cultures, it has significantly influenced educational systems, including how citizenship is taught. This research examines changes in the citizenship curriculum through document analysis and educator interviews, assessing how these changes affect students' understanding of national identity. The findings reveal that while globalization provides opportunities to broaden students' global perspectives, it also poses challenges in balancing global values with the preservation of national identity. The study recommends incorporating global elements into the curriculum while maintaining a strong emphasis on local context to develop well-rounded citizens with a robust sense of national identity. Abstract

Distribution of funds at zakat institutions such as LAZISNU Wonocolo Surabaya is often faced with challenges of transparency and accountability, which can affect donor loyalty. it is important to implement practices that can increase donor confidence in fund management. This research aims to analyze the implementation of transparent and accountable fund distribution and its impact on donor loyalty at LAZISNU Wonocolo Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive approach with data collected through in-depth interviews with LAZISNU managers and donors, as well as analysis of documents related to fund distribution. The research results show that the implementation of transparency in financial reports and open communication with donors significantly increases donor trust and loyalty. Accountability in the use of funds also contributes to positive perceptions of donors towards the institution. It can be concluded that the application of the principles of transparency and accountability in the distribution of funds at LAZISNU Wonocolo Surabaya plays an important role in increasing donor loyalty. The recommendation for institutions is to continue to improve this practice in order to strengthen relationships with donors and support the sustainability of social programs.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang pesat terjadi pada masa remaja salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu asupan gizi dan nutrisi yang baik, kebiasaan konsumsi makanan yang tidak sehat  mempengaruhi kesehatan dan pertumbuhan. Zaman sekarang yang serba modern, remaja menginginkan segala sesuatunya serba instan bahkan dalam memilih makanan sehingga makanan fast food atau yang dikenal dengan makanan cepat saji masih menjadi makanan yang populer untuk dikonsumsi. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dengan sasaran siswa SMK Sentra Medika Cikarang. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengedukasi siswa SMK tentang pentingnya menjaga pola hidup, salah satunya dari memilih makanan yang sehat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi  langsung dengan menggunakan media presentasi yaitu PowerPoint dan pembagian leaflet kepada peserta sebagai informasi tambahan. Kegiatan berlangsung selama 130 menit dan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 siswa SMK Sentra Medika Cikarang. Evaluasi terhadap peserta dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi, berdasarkan hasil evaluasi sebelum pemaparan materi diperoleh nilai rata-rata seluruh siswa sebesar 64% dengan kategori cukup baik dan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi setelah sosialisasi  diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa secara keseluruhan  sebesar 80,7% dengan kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta secara signifikan.
