Abstract

In 2010 Coverage of infants aged 0-6 months received exclusive breastfeeding in West Kalimantan only 11.93% while the target was 65% (DHO Prov. Kalbar, 2011) and in 2010 the coverage exclusive breastfeeding in Pontianak at 22.82 % (health Prov. Kalbar, 2011). Based on traffic data in infants aged 0-6 months at Kampung Dalam subdistrict health center UPK East Pontianak in 2012, of 705 infants aged 0-6 months babies only 207 (29.36%) were breastfed exclusively. From the data above, shows the low level of breastfeeding by the mother to her baby. This is due to many factors related to the practice of breastfeeding to their children. This study aims to determine the factors related to the practice of breastfeeding until the child is two years old at Kampung Dalam subdistrict health center UPK East Pontianak. This type of research is observational method used is survey with cross sectional approach. The number of samples examined 80 samples with research time 4 to 11 July 2013. The primary data obtained directly from the respondent by interview using questionnaires while the secondary data obtained from authorized personnel at Kampung Dalam subdistrict health center UPK East Pontianak. Data analysis was performed through univariate and bivariate analyzes were accompanied by a significance test with a confidence level of 95%. Processing data using a computer program with Chi-Square test. The result showed that there was a significant association between knowledge and practice of breastfeeding until the child is two years old at Kampung Dalam subdistrict health center UPK East Pontianak. There is no significant relationship between maternal employment, previous breastfeeding experience and condition of the breast at Kampung Dalam subdistrict health center UPK East Pontianak. Local health authorities are advised to provide information / education by using media to more effectively about breastfeeding, especially the practice of breastfeeding until the child is two years old.

Abstract

Street food becomes the most concerned thing that eaten by most of children in the school. The consumption of snack cannot be separated from the danger of the negative impact. It is the proves that education about selecting healthy street food should be given. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of educational visual media with picture card method on knowledge and attitudes of children in the selection of healthy street food. The method used is Quasy-Experiment research study design by pretest-posttest with control group design is to see their influence on the treatment and control groups with measurements before and after treatment using the Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test with a significance level of = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge (p = 0.000) and attitude (p = 0,000) of children in the selection of healthy street food. The conclusion of this study is educational influence of visual media with picture card method before and after the intervention of the knowledge and attitudes of children in the selection of healthy street food.

Abstract

Pengetahuan gizi yang rendah akan mengakibatkan kebiasaan makan yang salah sehingga dapat menimbulkan masalah gizi pada remaja. Pencegahan timbulnya masalah gizi tersebut, memerlukan kegiatan edukasi gizi bertema empat pilar gizi seimbang melalui media yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi remaja. Saat ini media sosial Instagram menjadi media sosial popular di kalangan remaja yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media edukasi gizi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui Instagram bertema empat pilar gizi seimbang terhadap pengetahuan gizi remaja putra di SMA Negeri Kecamatan Pontianak Kota.Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-experiment dengan desain penelitian one group pre test – post test. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja putra SMA Negeri di kecamatan Pontianak Kota, yaitu SMA N 4 dan SMA N 8 Kota Pontianak. Sampel sebanyak 35 dipilih dengan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui proses bergulir dari satu responden ke responden lainnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peneliti. data dianalisis dengan Uji Wilcoxon untuk melihat perbedaan pengetahuan gizi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi gizi.Didapatkan nilai p (p-value) sebesar 0,000 yang artinya ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi gizi berupa edukasi gizi terhadap pengetahuan gizi remaja putra SMA di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota.Pendidikan gizi melalui Instagram bertema Empat Pilar Gizi Seimbang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi remaja

Abstract

Salah satu pesan gizi seimbang khususnya untuk anak usia sekolah dasar yaitu dengan mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy-Experiment dengan desain one group pretest and posttest design. Responden penelitian yaitu anak sekolah dasar negeri 2 jungkat yang berjumlah 37 orang sesuai dengan total sampel yang dihitung, analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign test. Pengetahuan menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan gizi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan menggunakan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Selain itu, untuk hasil konsumsi sayuran menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi sayuran setelah diberikan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Sedangkan untuk hasil penelitian konsumsi buah menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat prbedaan yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi buah setelah diberikan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Pendidikan gizi menggunakan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah) dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi anak sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Permasalahan yang dijumpai dilapangan adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan kader posyandu terhadap materi yang disampaikan serta tidak percaya diri pada saat penyuluhan. Berdasarkan hal tersebutpenyuluhan gizi yang dilakukan oleh kader perlu ditingkatkan dengan  inovasi penggunaan media penyuluhan, yang berkaitan dengan ASI Eksklusif. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan gizi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi media roda gizi pada kader posyandu. Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah QuasyPre-experimentaldengan metode one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 24 posyandu dengan sampel sebanyak 18 kader. Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil : Rata-rata pengetahuan saat posttest lebih tinggi sebesar 14,06 dibandingkan pengetahuan saat pretestadalah 10,48. Hasil uji analisis Wilcoxon signed ranks test diperoleh p value< 0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikat pengetahuan gizi kader sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi media roda gizi. Kesimpulan : terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan pada kader. Edukasi menggunakan media roda gizi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi kader.

Abstract

Food intake was influenced by eating patterns in toddlers. If the diet was not achieved properly, it will have an impact on the growth of toddlers. One of the factors that influenced mothers in feeding toddlers was knowledge. STIPMA media was a visual education media modified from flashcard media. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of giving STIPMA educational media (child feeding information sticks), the flipcharts Breastmilk Complementary Food Control Card (KUKOMPAS) on mother's knowledge and feeding patterns for toddlers aged 6-24 months at the Kampung Bangka Health Centre. The research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest with a control group design, the research sample was 16 in the control and the other 16 in the treatment group in the Bansir Laut sub-district which was determined based on the inclusion criteria. The treatment was in the form of giving media information sticks and providing education with flipcharts which were carried out for 4 meetings in 21 days. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon rank test, paired t-test, and Independent-test. There was a significant difference in mother's knowledge in the treatment and the control group by giving STIPMA media with a p-value of 0.045<0.05, and there was a difference in feeding patterns of toddlers in the treatment and the control group by giving STIPMA media with a p-value of 0.006>0.05 where the treatment group was better than the control group. The Giving STIPMA media and education using flipcharts could help increase mothers’ knowledge and assist mothers in changing feeding patterns for toddlers. Abstract

Latar belakang: Manajemen pondok pesantren harus memberikan layanan yang baik untuk memastikan kebutuhan gizi para santri terpenuhi. Hal ini dapat terwujud apabila institusi mampu menyajikan makanan yang mematuhi prinsip-prinsip dasar penyelenggaraan institusi. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut mencakup penyediaan makanan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen baik dari segi jenis maupun jumlah zat gizi, disiapkan dengan cita rasa yang berkualitas tinggi, dan memenuhi standar kebersihan dan sanitasi yang diperlukan.Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kepuasan menu dan asupan gizi pada remaja putri SMPIT Al-Fityan School Kubu Raya.Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan total sampling dengan total sampel 61 responden remaja putri. Data kepuasan menu diambil dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang diisi oleh masing-masing responden dan data asupan diambil dengan wawancara menggunakan form food recall 24 jam selama 2 hari.Hasil: Tingkat kepuasan menu remaja putri memiliki hasil puas dengan persentase 82,0%. Asupan gizi remaja putri memiliki hasil yang defisit dengan persentase energi 70,5%, protein 67,2%, lemak 73,8%, dan karbohidrat 68,9%.Simpulan: Tidak ada hubungan tingkat kepuasan menu dan asupan zat gizi energi, protei, lemak, dan karbohidrat. Hasil nilai chi square (p-value <0,05) tingkat kepuasan menu dengan asupan energi 1,000, tingkat kepuasan menu dengan asupan protein 0,1000, tingkat kepuasan menu dengan asupan lemak 0,259, tingkat kepuasan menu dengan asupan karbohidrat 0,726.  Kata Kunci: Tingkat kepuasan menu, Energi, Protein, Lemak, Karbohidrat

Abstract

Youth is the beginning of the formation of a high quality of life in the future. For adolescents not to have a negative body image that impacts multiple nutritional statuses (less and more nutritional status), an information-based education is needed which they organize to support life as a beautiful person but a high level of health by maintaining nutritional status in the normal category and living a style. Healthy life so that the beauty they have is a quality beauty. This study aims to analyze the relationship between body image, nutritional knowledge, nutritional status in adolescents in Public senior high school 09 Pontianak City. The research method was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design, the study was conducted from July to August 2018. The population of this study was students of class X and XI of Public senior high school 09 Pontianak City. Based on the results of the sample calculation, 90 people were determined using a random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between body image, nutritional knowledge, and adolescent nutritional status with value (p = 0.03). Suggestions, it is necessary to warn of nutritional status periodically by the Saigon Public Health Center in collaboration with the School of Public senior high school 09 Pontianak City, so that the nutritional status of adolescents is well controlled.

Abstract

Thin nutrition is an acute nutritional problem, as a result of events that occur in a short time such as lack of food intake. The high prevalence of thin underweight nutrition in infants is influenced by three main factors namely poor quality of quantity pangan food consumption as a result of low family food security, poor patterns of foster care and low access to health facilities. The impact of underweight nutrition in infants can reduce intelligence, productivity, creativity, and very influential on the quality of HR. This type of research is a Quasi-Experiment with the design used is pretest-posttest design with control group design. The number of samples for each group of 28 people was taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used parametric statistical tests and non-parametric tests. The results of the analysis of differences in knowledge before and after nutrition education in the two treatment groups there was no significant difference (p = 0.271). For weight gain in children under five given intervention that is the average weight of the pre-test 9.91kg and the average weight of the post-test was 10.13kg with the results of statistical tests showed that there was a significant weight gain (p = 0, 00). The conclusion of this study is that there is no difference between the treatment and control groups for the knowledge of mothers under five and there are differences in the treatment and control groups for toddler weight gain. Parents of toddlers are expected to have more access to information about health through various mass media such as newspapers, magazines, radio and television. In addition, it is also important to get a lot of information by participating in empowering organizations

Abstract

In Indonesia, some plants contain many benefits for public health and contain very high nutrients ranging from macronutrients to micronutrients. These plants include Moringa oleifera L, the Moringa tree, by Indonesian people. However, few people know about the Moringa tree's benefits, so its utilization still needs to improve in society. This study was a pure experimental study consisting of 3 three treatments of mackerel fish nuggets with different substitutions for moringa leaf flour: P1=5, P2=12.5, P3=25. The third step was an organoleptic test at the Pontianak Ministry of Health's Poletkkes Food Technology Laboratory consisting of 25 panelists. Then proceed with nutritional analysis in the Chemistry laboratory at Tanjung Pura Pontianak University. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) data and was analyzed using the Freedman statistical test. The results of the study are based on Friedman's statistical test, which is enhanced with Conover with a 95% confidence level, showing that the results of T count > T table (13.6 > 3.175) mean that there is a color difference in the nugget formula, there is a difference in the aroma of the nugget formula with T count > F table (6.03 > 3.175) there is a difference in taste for variations in taste with T count < F table (2.72 < 3.175) Based on test results Laboratory tests on nuggets of moringa leaf flour substitution showed an average protein content of 7.08%, average moisture content of 2.01% average ash content of 5.15%.
