In the practice of nursing one factor that plays an important role in the success of breastfeeding is feeding techniques. When the breastfeeding technique is incorrect, it can cause a variety of problems. No maximum breastfeeding will result in less good, because the baby’s sucking is very influential on subsequent milk production stimulation. Based on data obtained from UPK Siantan Hulu Health Center Blue Lake District of  North Pontianak, the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding in 2014 is still low, as much as 61.88% with a target of 80%. This study aims to determine the relationship of education, employment and attitude towards the practice of breastfeeding mothers of infants aged 0-6 months in the working area of   Puskesmas UPK Siantan Upper Blue Lake District of North Pontianak. This type of research is analytic survey with cross sectional approach. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with a sample of 59 people. Data were analyzed by chi square test. The results showed no association between maternal education with the practice of breastfeeding. There is a relationship between the work and the attitude towards the practice of breast-feeding mothers. Suggested to the local health authorities to continue to provide information on the practice of breastfeeding in the right way, through the distribution of posters, leaflets and other education media, and routinely perform counseling and individual and group counseling at health centers or at Posyandu activities.

Background: Stunting in children was largely unknown by parents, because when visited the Posyandu there wasn’t assessment of length growth. The purpose of this study was to provide a card to monitor the lenght growth in children who are stunted against length for age z-skor (LAZ).Method: This type of research was a quasi experimental design pre and posttest control group design using two group: the intervention group was given a length growth monitoring card and and the control group was given a standard child growth chart. This research was conducted in Sambas Subdistrict, Sejangkung Regency for three months. The sample in this study was stunting children aged 3-21 months with a total sample of twenty each group. The dependent variable was LAZ, which is measured before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis was to determine the differences between the two groups after the intervention with the Mann Whitney Test.Results: The results showed that the group given the length growth card was the average value of LAZ before -3.12 ± 0.69 and after the intervention -2.98 ± 0.78 with an increase in the z-score of 0.14 ± 0.68, while the control group LAZ values before -2.68 ± 0.34 and after the intervention -2.62 ± 0.68 with an increase of 0.07 ± 0.633. Statistically with the Man Whitney Test showed no difference, but the change in the LAZ was higher in the group given the growth card compared to the control group.Conclusion: Giving growth cards and child growth charts did not difference in increasing LAZ in stunting children. Salah satu pesan gizi seimbang khususnya untuk anak usia sekolah dasar yaitu dengan mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy-Experiment dengan desain one group pretest and posttest design. Responden penelitian yaitu anak sekolah dasar negeri 2 jungkat yang berjumlah 37 orang sesuai dengan total sampel yang dihitung, analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign test. Pengetahuan menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan gizi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan menggunakan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Selain itu, untuk hasil konsumsi sayuran menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi sayuran setelah diberikan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Sedangkan untuk hasil penelitian konsumsi buah menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat prbedaan yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi buah setelah diberikan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah). Pendidikan gizi menggunakan media audio kinestetik (lagu dan senam sayur dan buah) dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi anak sekolah dasar.

Background: Low nutritional knowledge will lead to wrong eating habits so that it can cause nutritional problems in adolescents. Prevention of these nutritional problems requires nutrition education activities with the theme of the four pillars of balanced nutrition through media that can increase adolescent nutrition knowledge. Currently, Instagram is a popular social media among teenagers that can be used as a medium for nutrition education. Based on this, this study was conducted to determine the effect of nutrition education through Instagram with the theme of the four pillars of balanced nutrition on the nutritional knowledge of young men in Pontianak Kota Districts Public High School; Methods: This type of research is a pre-experimental research design with one group pre test – post test. The subjects of the study were male youths of SMA Negeri in Pontianak Kota sub-district, namely SMA N 4 and SMA N 8 Pontianak City. A total of 35 samples were selected by snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques through a rolling process from one respondent to another to meet the needs of researchers. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test to see the difference in nutritional knowledge before and after being given nutrition education;  Results: obtained a p value (p-value) of 0.000, which means that there is a difference before and after being given nutritional intervention in the form of nutrition education on the nutritional knowledge of high school boys in Pontianak Kota District; Conclusions: Nutrition education through Instagram with the theme of the Four Pillars of Balanced Nutrition can increase adolescent nutrition knowledge.

Latar Belakang : Daun asam jawa (tamarindus indica. l) merupakan salah satu tanaman obat tradisional Hampir semua bagian asam jawa dapat dimanfaatkan, adanya penghambatan α-amilase dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pengobatan DMT2. Adanya inhibitor α- glukosidase dapat menghambat enzim α- glukosidase di usus dan menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dengan memperlambat pencernaan dan absorpsi pati dan disakarida. Adanya penghambatan pada enzim α- glukosidase akan menunda penyerapan karbohidrat di saluran pencernaan sehingga dapat mencegah peningkatan konsentrasi glukosa. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisis daya terima seduhan teh daun asam jawa.  Metode : PenelitianP ini menggunakan RancanganAAcakLLengkap (RAL) dengan 3Pperlakuan.Hasil Uji daya terima dianalisis menggunakan Friedman test. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 25 panelis terlatih untuk uji daya terima. Penialaian daya terima meliputi warna, aroma, dan rasa. Hasil : Pada aspek warna, aroma, dan rasa, formula 2 ( 2 gram daun asam jawa , 100 ml air) memiliki skor daya terima lebih baik dan berbeda signifikan dibandingkan dengan formula linnya dengan p=0.000. Abstract: Effect of Lampung Banana Potassium on Bone Mineral Density in the Elderly. This study aims to determine the effect of banana lampung on bone mineral density in the elderly in the Social Welfare Tresna Werdha and Werdha Graha Kasih Father’s home). This research is a research with experimental design with the separate sample pretest posttest control group design. The research was carried out in the Tresna Werdha Social Institution and the Werdha Graha Kasih Father’s house, from May to July 2017. The sampling technique was taken by random sampling The result of potassium feeding on 150 grams of banana per day for 30 days by increasing BMD T-score of 0.17 while in control group (without banana lampung) BMD T-score decreased by - 0.32. After intervention in both groups showed a difference of BMD T-score of 0.49. Abstrak: Pemberian Kalium Buah Pisang Lampung terhadap Densitas Mineral Tulang pada Lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh pemberian buah pisang lampung terhadap bone mineral density pada lansia di wilayah Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha dan panti Werdha Graha Kasih Bapa). Penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah penelitian dengan desain eksperimen dengan rancangan the separate sample pretest posttest control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha dan panti Werdha Graha Kasih Bapa), mulai bulan Mei s/d Juli 2017. Teknik sampling diambil dengan cara random sampling Hasil pemberian kalium pada buah pisang lampung sebanyak 150 gr setiap hari selama 30 hari dengan dapat meningkatkan BMD T-score sebesar 0,17 sedangkan pada kelompok control (tanpa pemberian buah pisang lampung) BMD T-score menurun sebesar - 0,32. Abstract: Differences in Substance Nutrient Intake Picture Activity Based Screen Time Viewing Students. This study aimed to analyze the differences in nutrient intake based on an activity of screen time viewing on the students of  SD Muhammadiyah I Pontianak. This research was observational analytic with cross-sectional. Samples were students of class V SD Muhammadiyah I Pontianak City as many as 53 people were taken by proportional random sampling. The results showed there were no differences in the intake of nutrients (energy, carbohydrates, fats, and sodium) based on the activity of screen time viewing with the statistical test Chi-square at 95% confidence level.Abstrak : Gambaran Perbedaan Asupan Zat Gizi Berdasarkan Aktivitas Screen Time Viewing Siswa SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan asupan zat gizi berdasarkan aktivitas screen time viewing pada siswa SD Muhammadiyah I Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah I Kota Pontianak sebanyak 53 orang yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan asupan zat gizi (energi, karbohidrat, lemak dan natrium) berdasarkan aktivitas screen time viewing dengan hasil uji statistik Chi-square pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%.
