Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendalami pentingnya tentang penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang tepat berdasarkan etika berbahasa pada siswa di UPT SPF SMP Negeri 26 Makassar. Bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan secara tepat, baik secara tata bahasa maupun etika, sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter dan memperkuat komunikasi secara efektif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa UPT SPF SMP Negeri 26 Makassar mengenai penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia yang tepat masih terbatas, terutama terkait dengan aspek etika berbahasa dalam interaksi sosial. Tak hanya itu, adanya kesenjangan antara pengetahuan yang diajarkan di sekolah dan praktik penggunaan berbahasa dalam keseharian mempengaruhi tingkat kesadaran siswa dalam berbahasa dengan tepat. Pengabdian ini juga menemukan bahwa penyuluhan dan pembelajaran yang intensif mengenai etika berbahasa, baik dalam konteks formal maupun informal, dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa untuk menggunakan bahasa sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah Bahasa Indonesia yang tepat. Oleh sebab itu, pembelajaran etika berbahasa di sekolah perlu diperkuat melalui berbagai metode, seperti diskusi, simulasi, dan pemberian contoh konkrit dalam keseharian, guna menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya fasih dalam berbahasa, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran sosial dalam berkomunikasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pendidik dan orang tua mengenai pendidikan dan pengasuhan yang menyenangkan berbasis Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). Pelatihan dilakukan di Nobel Play Group & Kindergarten, Makassar dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 31 orang. Metode pelatihan melibatkan ceramah, diskusi, simulasi, dan praktek langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan pelatihan dapat menyerap materi dengan baik dan memahami konsep-konsep utama yang disampaikan, terutama mengenai pendidikan dan pengasuhan yang menyenangkan berbasis DAP. Persentase hasil penilaian terhadap penguasaan terhadap materi pelatihan mencapai 90%. Disarankan agar pendidik dan orang tua terus meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dalam mendukung perkembangan anak melalui kolaborasi yang lebih erat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan flashcard gambar untuk mengenalkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral kepada anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Tahfidz Ulul-albab. Flashcard digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena sifatnya yang menarik, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan anak selama proses belajar. Media ini juga memberikan stimulasi visual yang membantu anak lebih mudah memahami konsep abstrak, seperti nilai-nilai moral dan agama. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru dan siswa untuk mendapatkan perspektif yang komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa flashcard mampu meningkatkan pemahaman anak terhadap konsep agama dan nilai-nilai moral, seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan kasih sayang. Keabsahan data diperiksa melalui triangulasi metode untuk memastikan validitas hasil serta mengurangi bias. Selain itu, guru melaporkan bahwa penggunaan flashcard memudahkan penanaman nilai-nilai moral dalam aktivitas sehari-hari di sekolah dan di rumah. Penelitian ini menyarankan penggunaan flashcard secara konsisten untuk mendukung pendidikan nilai di berbagai konteks pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penelitian lebih lanjut diusulkan untuk mengeksplorasi media pembelajaran lainnya, seperti teknologi pendidikan yang dapat memperkaya pendekatan pendidikan moral dan agama, serta mendukung perkembangan anak secara holistik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor.

Abstract

Understanding religious values in early childhood is a fundamental foundation for shaping character and behavior in accordance with religious teachings. This study analyzes the effectiveness of using visual media, such as pictures and posters, in enhancing the comprehension of religious values at Raudhatul Athfal Arrahman Tinggito Kindergarten. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involved observations of the learning process for children aged 5-6 years, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of learning activities. The results indicate that visual media is highly effective in helping children grasp abstract religious concepts, reducing cognitive load, and increasing interest and participation in learning. Pictures and posters not only facilitate the understanding of worship practices, such as prayer and ablution, but also connect physical actions with spiritual meanings. This study contributes to the development of interactive and effective religious learning methods in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents in supporting children's learning.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of Kahoot-based digital media in enhancing the social-emotional abilities of early childhood children. Social-emotional abilities examined include emotional recognition and regulation, cooperative skills, empathy development, and positive social relationship formation. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements. The research was conducted at TK Aulia Rahma in Takalar, involving 16 children aged 5-6 years from Group B, divided into two groups: the experimental group (8 children) who received learning through Kahoot digital media, and the control group (8 children) who participated in conventional learning methods. Data collection utilized structured observation sheets and social-emotional assessment tools validated by experts. Data analysis employed the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to examine the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test results. The findings revealed significant improvements in the experimental group's social-emotional abilities (p = 0.011 < 0.05), with 62.5% of children achieving the "Very Good" category compared to only 12.5% in the control group. Children exposed to Kahoot demonstrated superior progress in teamwork, peer communication, emotional regulation, and empathy skills. These results indicate that Kahoot, with its interactive and gamified features, can effectively support the development of social-emotional skills in young children. The study recommends that educators integrate digital tools like Kahoot in early childhood classrooms to facilitate enjoyable learning experiences that promote emotional awareness and positive social interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children in Group B of the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten. Data collection was carried out using qualitative research methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted in Group B of the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten with four teachers as research subjects. This study produced three main findings, namely the role of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children by instilling a sense of responsibility and the habit of disciplined behavior, the efforts of teachers in instilling values of discipline in children, namely accustoming children to be disciplined in terms of managing their time for studying and playing, as well as setting an example through the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad, andd dthe challenges dfaced dby dteachers din dinstilling discipline dvalues in children, namely differences in educational approaches between home and school, and insufficient parental attention toward their children.

Abstract

This study alims to determine the effect of ALnimall ALR 3D Salfalri lealrning medial balsed on ALugmented Reallity Technology on the English lalngualge skills of children alged 5-6 yealrs alt Nalural Nalhyefal Kindergalrten. The resealrch method used is qualntitaltive with al qualsi-experimentall design resealrch type. This resealrch design uses nonequivallent control group design. The populaltion in this study consisted of 30 children, with al salmpling technique using salturalted salmpling so thalt the salmple of this study consisted of 30 children, who were divided into two groups, nalmely 15 children als the experimentall group alnd 15 children als the control group. Daltal collection techniques in the form of observaltion, trealtment tests alnd documentaltion with English lalngualge albility indicaltors including re-mentioning English vocalbulalry, mentioning words in English, alnd interpreting English vocalbulalry. The daltal alnallysis technique used is descriptive staltisticall alnallysis alnd non-palralmetric staltisticall alnallysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Ralnk Test. Abstract

Social-emotional development in early childhood is a crucial foundation for shaping children's character and interpersonal skills in the future. However, learning activities that lack collaborative social interaction often hinder this development. This study aims to examine the effect of the traditional game Ular Naga (Dragon Snake) on the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at TK Insan Masagena. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group model. The sample consisted of 16 children selected through purposive sampling, with 8 children in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.012 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference before and after treatment in the experimental group. Thus, the Ular Naga game has a positive and significant impact on children's social-emotional development. These findings imply that incorporating traditional games into early childhood education can be an effective strategy for enhancing children’s social and emotional skills in an engaging and natural way. The main contribution of this study lies in strengthening the literature on integrating local cultural elements into holistic and contextual learning approaches in early childhood education, while also promoting the revitalization of traditional games as developmental tools

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of busy book media on the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Teratai Makkasar University Kindergarten. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type using a Non-equivalent Control Group design. The population in this study was 55 children. Sampling used Purposive Sampling technique. The sample consisted of 32 children, 16 children in the experimental group who used busy book media and 16 children in the control group who used alphabet poster media. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and parametric statistical analysis using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests using SPSS version 21. The results showed a significant increase in children's literacy skills in the experimental group with an average value of 23.75, while the control group had an average value of 17.44. Data analysis obtained from the test conducted was Asym (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 meaning  was accepted and  was rejected. Thus, the literacy skills of children in the experimental group were better than those of the control group, this proves that the use of busy book media has a significant influence on the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Makassar University Teratai Kindergarten

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the traditional jump rope game for children aged 5–6 years at Gracia Sudiang Kindergarten. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of the principal, teachers, and 15 children aged 5–6 years in classes B.3 and B.4. The results showed that the implementation of the jump rope game in a structured and integrated manner in learning activities was able to improve gross motor skills such as motor coordination, balance, and agility. In addition, children's social-emotional aspects such as the ability to wait for turns, work together, manage emotions, and foster self-confidence also increased. Supporting factors in implementation include teacher involvement, school support, and children's enthusiasm. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited time, weather, and the influence of gadgets. This study concluded that the traditional jump rope game is an effective and contextual learning medium in developing the physical and social skills of early childhood
