Abstract

Abstract

The diversity of plant species found in the Temedak customary forest is relatively high but residents should not use it freely. Residents are prohibited from cutting or taking wood from the forest, they can only take fruit, rattan and bamboo for their own consumption and must have the permission of local traditional leaders. The higher the diversity of plants found in the Temedak customary forest, the higher the threat from outside. This is evidenced by the theft of wood, bamboo and other plants in the Temedak customary forest carried out by irresponsible people. For this reason, conservation attitude profile data is needed to identify categories of each indicator of students' conservation attitudes in protecting and overcoming surrounding biodiversity problems. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. Research participants included housewives, village shamans, local or community leaders. The instruments used are in the form of field notes of interview guidelines and conservation attitude questionnaires. The questionnaire was in the form of 38 statements tested to XI MIPA SMA students consisting of 40 respondents. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Temedak customary forest has endemic plant species, namely pacat wood (Harpullia arborea) and carrion flowers namely Amorphophallus gigas. There are 57 types of plants that generally used by the people of Keluru Village such as foodstuffs, buildings, medicins, wicker, local technology and art, as well as for the benefit or complement of traditional ceremonies. The results of obtaining student conservation attitudes from 40 respondents showed differences in each indicator.

Abstract

Regarding wills, there are fundamental differences between the Civil Code and the Compilation of Islamic Law. The difference is in the will made without a Notary deed or orally which is recognized in KHI, but not recognized in the Civil Code because it is not written and not made before a Notary. Whereas the issue of wills in inheritance is very vulnerable to disputes between heirs, where later the evidentiary power of the will is very decisive for the settlement of disputes that occur. Dispute resolution is closely related to evidence. The difference makes many parties, especially heirs, a dilemma to follow the provisions of KHI or the Civil Code. Therefore, it is necessary to study the ideality of the will form in evidentiary law. This is important, because it is not uncommon for inheritance issues to become objects of dispute. Therefore, the researcher formulates a problem formulation regarding "How is the ideal form of will in the scope of evidentiary law in Indonesia?" The research method used is normative with literature study. The results of the study concluded that in general, the form of wills in KHI and the Civil Code is ideal to be used as evidence. However, the most ideal will is a will in the form of an authentic deed because it has perfect evidentiary power and in the hierarchy of evidence as regulated in Article 164 HIR / 284 RBG Jo. Article 1866 of the Civil Code, the authentic deed has the highest position. Keywords: Proof; Legacy; Testament AbstrakMengenai wasiat, terdapat perbedaan yang fundamental antara KUHPerdata dengan Kompilasi Hukum Islam.

Abstract

Environmental degradation caused by illegal mining, deforestation, forest fires, and poor waste management, represents not only an environmental crisis but also a critical educational issue. These conditions indicate a low level of environmental awareness, emphasizing the urgency of cultivating ecological responsibility among prospective teachers. As future educators, they play a strategic role in integrating environmental values into learning processes to promote sustainable attitudes and behaviors among students. This study aims to assess the environmental awareness profile of biology education students, using social media to contextualize local ecological issues. A quantitative descriptive design was applied to 78 purposively selected students who had completed the conservation biology course. Data were collected using a validated 35 item questionnaire based on the New Ecological Paradigm (NEP) scale, covering five dimensions: limits to growth, anti-anthropocentrism, fragility of nature’s balance, rejection of exceptionalism, and possibility of an ecocrisis. Results show that overall environmental awareness was in the good category, with the highest scores in fragility of nature’s balance and possibility of ecocrisis, and the lowest in rejection of exceptionalism. This study concludes that biology education students demonstrated a good level of environmental awareness across the five dimensions of the NEP. These findings indicate that prospective biology teachers possess a relatively strong ecological perspective, which may support their future role in promoting environmental responsibility in schools. Future environmental education initiatives may benefit from integrating social media as a contextual platform for presenting local environmental issues and strengthening students' engagement with ecological challenges.
