Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab bukanlah hal baru dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Problematika dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab masih banyak dan sering bermunculan, sayangnya jarang sekali terpecahkan solusinya. Tulisan ini dibuat untuk melihat problematika dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab terutama pada jenjang madrasah ibtidaiyah agar dengan begitu para pengajar dapat lebih memperhatikan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang mereka ajarkan dan berupaya untuk mengatasi problematika-problematika yang ada. Dalam penyusunan tulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber kajian pustaka atau library research, yang di mana penggunaanya dengan pengumpulan data dan informasi yang bersumber dari bacaan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Upaya mengintegrasi pendidikan Bahasa Arab di sekolah dasar memiliki beberapa masalah yang menjadikan implementasi pendidikan Bahasa Arab mengalami kendala. Hal-hal tersebut merupakan masalah besar dalam upaya pelaksanaan integrasi pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Upaya tersisa yang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki dan mengatasinya ialah peran seorang guru. Berbagai tantangan atau masalah dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dapat diklasifiksikan menjadi dua yaitu sebagai faktor linguistik, dan non-linguistik. Namun, terlepas dari permasalahan-permasalahan yang kita temui dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, faktanya Bahasa Arab memiliki beberapa kelebihan dan keuntungan bagi siapa saja yang mempelajarinya. Bahasa Arab sejatinya merupakan harta karun peradaban Islam yang terdapat banyak kelebihan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ errors in solving plane geometry problems using Newman’s Error Analysis (NEA), with a focus on identifying specific error patterns that hinder learning. Geometry is a fundamental component of mathematics, yet many students struggle to master concepts involving plane figures and the distance from a point to a line. This research employed a descriptive qualitative design with nine second-semester mathematics education students at Universitas Negeri Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year as subjects. Based on test results, three students with the lowest scores were selected for in-depth analysis. The research instruments consisted of essay- and context-based geometry problems, validated by expert lecturers and piloted for clarity. Data were collected from students’ written responses and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed five categories of errors: reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and encoding. Among these, comprehension errors and process skills errors were the most dominant, reflecting students’ difficulties in interpreting information and applying accurate solution procedures. This study contributes to the literature by providing detailed insights into students’ error patterns in plane geometry and highlighting the value of NEA as a diagnostic tool to inform targeted instructional strategies and improve mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth and development index on poverty level in the provinc of North Sumatera. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA). The analysis method used in this study is Vector Autoregression (VAR) to identify the relationship between independent variables, namely economic growth and development index on poverty levels. The results of the study indicate that economic growth has a significant negative effect on poverty, whilw the development index has a significant positive effect on poverty. This study concludes that the combination of economic growth and development index can be an effective strategy to reduce poverty rates. Therefore, the government and lawmakers are expected to prioritize development that is oriented towards community welfare.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Dakwah Masyarakat Berdampak (KDMB) di TPQ Nurul Bayan merupakan bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan Qur’ani tradisional dengan inovasi literasi digital Islami. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah kebutuhan TPQ dalam memperkuat pembelajaran Al-Qur’an melalui metode talaqqi dan kitab dasar, sekaligus menghadirkan pendekatan kreatif sesuai perkembangan zaman. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan literasi Qur’ani santri melalui kombinasi kegiatan rutin, lomba Islami, serta inovasi berbasis digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan rutin mencakup zikir petang, talaqqi/talqin, ziyadah hafalan, muroja’ah, mufrodat 3-in-1, doa, dan praktik ibadah. Kegiatan kreatif berupa lomba Islami, sedangkan inovasi diwujudkan melalui Qur’anic Adventure berbasis gamifikasi dan Digital Story Qur’an yang memperkenalkan literasi digital Islami. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar, partisipasi santri, serta kemampuan mereka mengingat kandungan Qur’an melalui metode kreatif. Guru menilai storytelling digital efektif menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik. Evaluasi juga menyoroti kendala keterbatasan waktu, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan media belajar mandiri untuk mendukung keberlanjutan. Kesimpulannya, KDMB mampu memadukan tradisi, kreativitas, dan inovasi digital dalam bingkai pendidikan Qur’ani. Disarankan agar kegiatan serupa memperpanjang durasi pembelajaran dan menambahkan media pendukung agar manfaatnya lebih optimal.

Abstract

This study investigates the spectrum of performance styles considered“optimal” for the viola solo in the Prelude from Dmitri Shostakovich’sConcerto in G Major (as arranged for viola and piano by YasushiAkutagawa). While often overshadowed by the orchestral context of theoriginal concerto for cello, this transcription presents a uniquemicrocosm of Shostakovich’s musical language, characterized by incisivesatire, lyrical despair, and structural ambiguities that require profoundinterpretive decisions by the viola player. Moving beyond prescriptivenotions of a single “best” style, this study employs a hybrid methodologyof performance analysis and practice-based inquiry. Through aComparative analysis of ten commercially available recordings byrenowned viola players (e.g., Bashmet, Imai, Várady), we identify threedominant interpretive paradigms: the “Symphonic-Narrative,”“Chamber-Intimate,” and “Modernist-Deconstructive” approaches.Subsequently, a practice-based component, involving deliberate stylisticExperimentation by the principal researcher-performer examines thetechnical and expressive implications of each paradigm. The findingssuggest that “optimal” style depends on successfully aligning theperformer’s technical execution (e.g., bow distribution, vibrato width,intonation precision in ambiguous harmonies) with a coherent, context-based hermeneutic. This study argues that pedagogical discourse on thiswork should shift from seeking definitive interpretations towarddeveloping the performer’s “hermeneutical flexibility”—the ability toconsciously navigate and justify stylistic choices within Shostakovich’scomplex aesthetic framework. This research contributes to violaperformance pedagogy and music cognitive science by modeling ananalytical and reflective framework for interpreting the 20th-centuryrepertoire.
