Abstract

The implementation of character education in SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands faces quite dominant challenges, including geographical location, low level of parental education, and lack of parental support and understanding, thus also interfering with the effectiveness of character education efforts. This research is a field research, which is a type of research where researchers collect data and information directly in the field to explore the implementation of character education in students at SMAN 1 Arjasa. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of character education at SMAN 1 Arjasa Kangean Islands is highly dependent on the role of Civic Education (PPKn) teachers. Teachers act as mentors, advisors, role models, and motivators for students by using various learning media to present the material in an interesting and effective manner. Teachers provide individual and group guidance, and provide examples of exemplary daily life, such as congregational prayer, handshakes, and environmental cleanliness, as a direct inspiration for students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in forming Pancasila student profiles through the integration of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects at Abu Ghonaim Bumiaji Batu Islamic Middle School. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methodology. Data collection tools consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The research findings show that the aim is to increase the components of the Pancasila student profile through the formulation of Civics learning modules. The teacher's role in implementing Citizenship Education through strengthening the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile includes: acting as a role model, inspirer, learning planner, elaboration of Pancasila values, model project facilitator, motivator, and assessor. The implementation of the Pancasila student profile through PPKn learning is facilitated by several key factors, including the dedication of teaching staff, the selection of students who are committed to the program, the provision of adequate learning facilities, the development of effective learning methods, and the active involvement of the school committee and the wider community.

Abstract

In this article, we will discuss the use of Civic Education barcode media in terms of 21st century skills learning. The use of Civic Education barcode media will be reviewed to see whether it can support the implementation of 21st century skills learning. Whether 21st century skills are already present in the use of Civic Education barcode media will be discussed, so it is hoped that their utilization can be achieved. can run optimally in the future if you have found the emphasis on 21st century skills. This writing was carried out using literature study. All skills contained in Skill 21 learning can be possessed by students if teachers are able to create learning that supports the implementation of 21st century skills. Teachers develop learning that contains activities that challenge students to think critically and solve problems. Learning activities must also encourage students to work together and communicate so that learning skills 21 are visible. In this article, we will discuss the use of Civic Education barcode media in terms of 21st century skills learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan literasi berbasis digital melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di MA Al-Umm Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis digital meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas siswa. Integrasi teknologi dalam PPKn juga membantu siswa mengakses informasi secara efektif dan bertanggung jawab. Kendala seperti akses teknologi yang tidak merata diatasi melalui penyediaan fasilitas pendukung. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi literasi digital dalam kurikulum secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan realitas dalam meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab siswa di SMPN 1 Kauman. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan realitas berhasil meningkatkan perilaku tanggung jawab siswa, terutama dalam hal kedisiplinan, kemampuan mengelola waktu, sikap terhadap tugas akademik, dan kesadaran sosial. Peningkatan signifikan terlihat pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami pentingnya tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan akademik mereka. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis pendekatan realitas dapat diterapkan secara luas di sekolah-sekolah untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product that will help the teaching and learning process during face-to-face learning conditions. The initial product that will be developed through validation tests by several experts, including material, learning, and media experts. then conducted small group trials and large group trials. After all the stages have been passed, the expected results can help students to understand sports course material during face-to-face sessions. the results of a series of small group trials showed a percentage of 82.2 percent, and the large group obtained a percentage of 86.6 percent.

Abstract

Learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education ( PPKn ) in schools often faces challenges, especially in attracting students' attention. Students often feel that PPKn learning is boring because of the excessive focus on memorizing facts, names of figures, and historical events. To overcome this problem, interesting and interactive learning innovations are important. This article proposes the use of game-based learning media Treasure Hunt developed through an Android application, as a solution to increase student engagement and interest in PPKn lessons . This method combines technology, group competition, and fact-based learning to create a more active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This learning model, which integrates the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method, allows students to collaborate in groups while completing challenges based on PPKn material . By using an Android-based application, learning can be more focused on understanding concepts and developing critical thinking skills. The expected results are increased motivation and student learning outcomes through more innovative and enjoyable learning, in accordance with the demands of the 2013 Curriculum which emphasizes active student participation in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model in internalizing citizenship values in senior high school (SMA) students. The approach used is qualitative, with a literature study method that utilizes reputable scientific sources, including national and international journals. The results of the study indicate that the application of the inquiry learning model can increase students' active involvement in the learning process, strengthen critical thinking skills, and encourage a more contextual understanding of citizenship values such as responsibility, tolerance, participation, and social justice. Inquiry learning creates space for students to build understanding through exploratory, collaborative, and reflective processes, thus having an impact on the formation of strong citizenship character and attitudes. In addition, this study identified that the process of internalizing values is not only determined by learning strategies but is also influenced by external factors such as the social environment, culture, education, and media. Thus, inquiry learning is considered relevant to be integrated more widely into education policies in order to strengthen citizenship awareness and form a young generation that is active and responsible in community and national life.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) menjadi perhatian yang mendesak, terutama karena maraknya metode ceramah yang kurang mendorong deep kognitif engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah gabungan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif, menggabungkan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen untuk analisis kuantitatif, dilengkapi dengan studi observasional dan wawancara untuk eksplorasi kualitatif. Penerapan ANCOVA pada analisis data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh hasil uji F (2, 26) = 65,14, p = 0,021, dengan effect size ?² = 0,95. Hasil uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa skor berpikir kritis siswa yang telah diajarkan menggunakan media AI secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok lain (p < 0,001). Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis tersebut, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh temuan kualitatif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa AI mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif, refleksi kritis, dan respons analitis. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan AI dalam konteks pembelajaran PPKn kondusif bagi pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis abad ke-21, sehingga menggarisbawahi perlunya adopsi AI secara luas dalam praktik pendidikan kewarganegaraan.
