<![CDATA[East Kolaka Regency is one of the regencies in Southeast Sulawesi Province which was only formed in 2013, the development efforts that have been carried out are inseparable from the development problems that are still being faced including problems of economic growth and income inequality. This can be seen from economic growth which tends to decline and the Gini ratio index which has not shown a consistent decline over the past few years. This study aims to determine which economic sectors are categorized as economic sectors that have high, medium, and low potential in East Kolaka Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of GRDP data for East Kolaka Regency during 2014-2021. Data collection techniques were carried out through online searches on the official website of the Central Statistics Agency for East Kolaka Regency and Southeast Sulawesi Province. The data analysis techniques used to determine sectoral economic potential in East Kolaka Regency consist of three, namely: location coefficient analysis (Location Quotient), production growth rate, and the contribution of the economic sector to GRDP formation. The results showed that the economic sectors that have medium potential in East Kolaka district are agriculture, forestry and fisheries, mining and quarrying, construction, and wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair. While the rest are in the medium potential category.]]>

<![CDATA[Kewirausahaan merupakan aktifitas yang dilakukan oleh seeorang atau kelompok dalam menciptakan suatu produk, jasa atau usaha dalam rangka menyelesaikan suatu persoalan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan materi. Perubahan pola hidup dan kebiasaan masyarakat sangat dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi. Kehidupan masyarakat yang cenderung konsumeris, sehingga masyarakat berusaha mencari hal-hal yang sifatnya instan. Hal ini berupa fenomena konsumeris yang membuat masyarakat menggunakan teknologi yang ada untuk memenuhi keinginannya, salah satu contohnya adalah masyarakat cenderung memilih melakukan penjualan dan pembelian secara online karena dirasa lebih efisien dari pada harus dilakukan secara konvensional atau offline. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pemasaran kewirausahaan secara online di Desa Tirawuta Kabupaten Kolaka Timur yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan berbasis online dengan pemanfaatan flatform digital dan juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pemasaran produk yang dihasilkan dari potensi kewirausahaan masyarakat yang didominasi pada bidang Pertanian dan Perkebunan. Kemampuan masyarakat yang variatif dalam penggunakan fasilitas digital dan teknologi kewirausahaan dengan memanfaatkan smartphone untuk mengakses platform digital seperti Facebook, WhatApp dan Platform e-commers seperti shopee, tokopedia dan lazada. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan berbasis online dengan pemanfaatan flatform digital.]]>

<![CDATA[Poverty is always a problem in the development of a country, especially in the economic field. Poverty from the economic side has an impact on the decline in people's purchasing power, while in the social aspect, poverty is seen as a problem when social stratification in society creates a dividing line where the upper class does not want to interact with the lower class society and vice versa. This study aims to determine the impact of government public spending on education and health functions on the level of poverty. The scope of the research covers 24 districts/cities in South Sulawesi Province from 2015-2019. The type of research used is quantitative, using secondary data. The data collection method was carried out through online searches on the official websites of DJPK and BPS. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results show that education spending directly has a positive impact on poverty levels, and health spending has a negative impact on poverty levels. Meanwhile, education spending indirectly has a negative impact on poverty levels through Gross Regional Domestic Product, and health spending has a positive impact on poverty levels through Gross Regional Domestic Product.]]>

<![CDATA[The question is whether these international financial sources have really flowed a lot in developed countries where the rate of return on capital is much greater and of course the investment risk is minimal compared to developing countries? This is what underlies the need for analysis to find out more about what and how big the impact of international financial sources is on development in Indonesia. This research uses time series data for the last 17 years (2004-2020) which comes from online World Bank publications accessed on the official website. The technical analysis used in this research is structural model analysis. This research aims to determine the impact of remittances, FDI and foreign loans on income inequality through economic growth in Indonesia. The variables Remittances, FDI and foreign loans are independent variables and income inequality is the dependent variable while economic growth is the intervening variable in this research. Remittances have a significant positive effect on income inequality through economic growth, FDI has no significant effect on income inequality through economic growth, and the foreign loan variable has a significant negative effect on income inequality through economic growth.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) adalah memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan financial technology (fintech). Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi: (1) seminar dan pelatihan mengenai financial teknologi, (2) melakukan evaluasi dan refleksi mengenai keberhasilan kegiatan yang dilakukan. Peserta pelatihan PkM melibatkan Aparat Pegawai Kecamatan Pomalaa, pegawai kelurahan Pomala serta beberapa tokoh masyarakat dan juga pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Pomalaa, selain itu kami melibatkan mahasiwa Program Studi Akuntansi USN Kolaka yang memiliki Usaha Sampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini yakni adalah peserta kegaiatan PkM perlu mengupgrade ilmu yang mereka miliki sesuai dengan perkembangan era digitalisasi yang semakin modern.]]>

<![CDATA[This workshop seeks to improve participants' comprehension and proficiency in the appropriate management of citations and references. The exercises encompass an introduction to fundamental citation concepts, the significance of precision in bibliographies, and the practical implementation of tools such as Mendeley and Zotero. The training approach consists of theoretical instruction and practical application, culminating in assessment via a final assignment. The training outcomes demonstrate an enhancement in participants' comprehension of diverse citation forms, including APA, MLA, and IEEE, alongside their proficiency in importing, managing, and automatically compiling references. The majority of participants successfully employed the programs' functionalities to facilitate collaborative research efforts. The documentation of activities via Zoom Meetings indicates active engagement from the trainees during the sessions. The instruction effectively enhanced participants' efficiency in the academic writing process. This course aims to serve as a prototype for such programs in the future to improve the quality of academic papers.]]>

<![CDATA[Minimnya fasilitas infrastruktur berupa ruang kelas memeadai yang ada di MTs Cahaya Dahari, serta masih kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan yang ditanamkan sejak dini terhadap anak-anak yang ada di Desa Latuo Kabupaten Kolaka, mendorong mahasiswa KKN USN Kolaka untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di Desa Latuo khususnya pada generasi muda melalui berbagai kegiatan yang berfokus pada kegiatan edukasi, kesehatan, dan pembenahan infrastruktur dasar Pendidikan di sekolah. Program ini melibatkan mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dalam berbagai kegiatan seperti pada bidang Kesehatan diadakan pembagian vitamin C terdahap anak, edukasi cara cuci tangan yang benar serta makan makanan sehat. Di bidang pendidikan, dilaksanakan program bimbingan belajar dan peningkatan literasi. Selain itu, renovasi infrastruktur sederhana seperti pembenahan fasilitas pendidikan dan ruang belajar dalam bentuk pemasangan dinding yang terbuat dari papan kayu. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, program ini melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam setiap tahap pelaksanaan, sehingga tercipta rasa memiliki dan keberlanjutan program setelah KKN berakhir. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kesadaran pentingnya kesehatan, peningkatan keterampilan dasar serta ketersediaan ruang kelas yang memadai dan mendukung proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Evaluasi program menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan berhasil mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, dan memberikan dampak yang baik bagi masyarakat di Desa Latuo.]]>

<![CDATA[Toronipa beach is one of the famous marine tourism destinations in Southeast Sulawesi, particularly in Konawe. With its beautiful natural potential and relatively straightforward accessibility, Toronipa Beach attracts many local and out-of-town tourists. However, this region has not fully realized its economic potential. To facilitate the decision-making process for its management and development, Economic valuation is very much needed. This study was carried out to estimate the economic value of Toronipa Beach and to identify the socioeconomic factors that influence the number of tourist visits. This study uses the individual travel cost method as an analytical approach and multiple linier regression. The findings indicate that the economic value estimation of Toronipa beach tourism using the individual travel cost method results in an economic value estimate of Rp 75.280.509.614,00 with a consumer surplus value per individual of Rp 450.000,00 per year. According to socio-economic factors that travel costs are inelastic even though the parameter elasticity value is less than 3% and visitor income is positive indicates that visits to Toronipa beach is negative inferior, means that income increases demand to Toronipa beach will increase. The implication of the study that accessibility can be improved by lowering the cost of renting tourist facilities, which can reduce the cost of tourist travel.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh simultan dan parsial dari variabel politik dan keamanan, yang menggunakan indeks persepsi korupsi, indeks demokrasi, dan angka kriminalitas, terhadap investasi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Adapun data pada penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang berupa runtutan waktu dari tahun 2009-2022 dan bersumber dari badan pusat statistik yang dipublikasi secara online. Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap investasi. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa indeks persepsi korupsi dan indeks demokrasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap investasi, sementara angka kriminalitas tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap investasi.]]>
