Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh modul koloid berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen dan desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Dua kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Medan dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian dan sampel diambil secara acak. Uji N-gain dan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata (uji-t) digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Perolehan rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 39,72, sedangkan kelompok kontrol adalah 39,03. Perolehan rata-rata posttest untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 83,19, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 77,64. Hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung>ttabel (3,74>2,34), yang menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji n-gain untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 71%, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 59%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa modul koloid berbasis chemoentrepreneurship efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketertarikan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh dan memberikan solusi terhadap degradasi penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang tidak baku di kalangan Gen Z yang pertumbuhannya mengalami eskalasi. Selain itu, diperlukan kegiatan yang menyongsong kemauan Gen Z dalam menerapkan kebakuan bahasa Indonesia agar tidak mengancam identitas bahasa Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai bahasa persatuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik, yaitu: teknik simak, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik alur sistematis, yaitu dimulai dari mengolah informasi yang diperoleh didukung dengan kajian pustaka berbagai literatur. Data dalam penelitian ini berwujud pada penggunaan bahasa baku dalam situasi formal dan tidak formal yang digunakan mahasiswa di kota Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak penggunaan bahasa yang tidak baku dalam situasi formal, serta penggunaan yang tidak sesuai dalam proses bertutur pada mahasiswa, hal tersebut menjawab rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, bagaimana degradasi bahasa baku pada masyarakat heterogen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the chain writing learning method on the skills of writing persuasive texts by class VIII students of Mts Nurul Islam Indonesia. The population of this study was all class VIII students of MTs Nurul Islam Indonesia, with a total of 64 students. The sample used was class VIII-2 students as a control class totaling 21 students and VIII-3 as an experimental class totaling 21 students. This study used an experimental method with a post-test only control group design. Data analysis was carried out using the control class and experimental class analysis requirements test, the normality test of the control class and experimental class and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average post-test score in the control class was 52.85 which was in the very poor category, while the average post-test score in the experimental class was 80 which was in the good category. Based on the results of the study and the "t" test (4.27> 1.720), the null hypothesis (H_0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H_a) was accepted. The results of the study showed that the use of the chain writing method had an influence on the skills of writing persuasive texts by class VIII students of MTs Nurul Islam Indonesia in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the project based learning model assisted by the iPusnas application media on the writing skills of review texts of class VIII students of Al-Washliyah 30 Medan private junior high school. The method used is a quantitative research method. The type of research used is experimental research using a two-group post-test design. The data analysis technique for this study uses normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests using SPSS ver 26. Through hypothesis testing, it is accepted with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model assisted by the iPusnas application media on the writing skills of review texts of class VIII students of Al-Washliyah 30 Medan private junior high school in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan berbahasa pada tugas case method mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, berupa esai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian berupa esai mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, yang merupakan produk case methode mata kuliah Sastra Lisan (semester tiga). Peneliti memilih tiga esai yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peneliti untuk memeroleh hasil penelitian yang ingin dicapai atau disebut metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis, yaitu metode padan ortografis, yang alat penentunya adalah tulisan dengan konsep EYD dan kesalahan berbahasa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia masih sering melakukan kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia dalam pengerjaan produk case methode yang berupa esai.

Abstract

Scientific writing is a crucial skill for students to master, as it enables them to become reliable and skilled observers. This study aims to develop an interdisciplinary-based interactive e-module for the Indonesian language course to improve students' scientific writing competence. This learning is conducted in the General Indonesian Language course at universities. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects were 55 students from the English Education and English Literature Study Programs at Universitas Negeri Medan. Expert validation results showed a material feasibility of 77.5% and media feasibility of 73.8%, both falling within the feasible category. Student responses reached 81%, which is considered very positive. Furthermore, the average pre-test score increased from 68.2 to 82.7, with an N-Gain of 0.45, placing it in the moderate-high effectiveness category. Based on these discoveries, the developed e-module is considered feasible, practical, and effective for enhancing students’ scientific writing competence.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research is motivated by the lack of variation in teaching materials used in the Syntax course. The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials for the Syntax course based on Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) assisted by Flip PDF Professional. Methodology: The research method is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies. Main Findings: CTL-based teaching materials (incorporating elements of eight ethnic groups in North Sumatra) assisted by Flip PDF Professional in the Syntax course are effective in the learning process. This is supported by the validation of material experts, 93.3% with a very valid category, and media experts 95% with a very valid category. As many as 87.5% of students gave positive responses regarding the teaching materials that have been developed. Novelty/Originality of this study: Based on this, it can be concluded that CTL-based Syntax teaching materials assisted by Flip PDF Professional can be used as an alternative teaching material for the Syntax course to improve learning outcomes and student activity in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process, product format, and feasibility of the observation report (LHO) text teaching material, supported by the Nearpod application, for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The background of this study is the limited teaching material in textbooks and the lack of use of interactive learning media, which leads to low student interest and motivation in learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, limited to three stages: analysis, design, and development. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with teachers and the distribution of needs questionnaires to students. The resulting product is an interactive digital link containing comprehensive material ranging from definitions, structures, and linguistic characteristics of the LHO text. Validation results by material experts showed a feasibility level of 90.24%, categorized as "Very Feasible." Meanwhile, validation by media experts obtained a score of 92%, also categorized as "Very Feasible." Thus, the LHO text teaching material supported by the Nearpod application is declared feasible and effective as a learning innovation to increase active student engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study of the experimental type. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the literature circle learning method has an effect on the ability to write reviews of works of fiction among eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. The population used in this study consists of all eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan, and the sample comprises Class VIII-2 (33 students) and Class VIII-5 (32 students). The sampling technique employed in this study is simple random sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation sheets, documentation, and tests. The results of the ability to write reviews of fictional works in the control class, which used the contextual method, had an average score of 66.13, falling into the “fair” category, while the experimental class, which used the literature circle method, had an average score of 84.21, falling into the “good” category. The data analysis used in this study was the independent t-test, with the prerequisites of normality and homogeneity tests conducted first. The results obtained in this study showed that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.001 < 0.05, which means there was a significant effect on the ability to write reviews of fictional works among eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan.
