Abstract

The learning outcomes for the topic of three-dimensional shapes in Grade V at SPF SDN 101789 Marindal I remain relatively low, as evidenced by the limited number of students achieving mastery when the learning process was still dominated by the lecture method. This condition reflects a mismatch between the expected learning objectives and the actual situation in the classroom. Therefore, this study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach, a teaching strategy that connects lesson content with students' cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.This study employed classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through achievement tests to assess students' learning outcomes and observation sheets to evaluate student activity during the learning process.The research findings revealed that in the pre-cycle stage, only 3 out of 18 students (16.67%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) with an average score of 46.11. In the first cycle, the number of students who met the criteria increased to 5 (27.78%) with an average score of 61.67. A more significant improvement occurred in the second cycle, where 12 students (66.67%) reached the MMC and the average score rose to 72.22. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach significantly improved student learning outcomes on the topic of three-dimensional shapes, while also promoting active student engagement in learning activities connected to their cultural backgrounds ABSTRAK Pembelajaran materi bangun ruang di kelas V SPF SDN 101789 Marindal I menunjukkan hasil belajar yang masih rendah, terlihat dari minimnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai tingkat ketuntasan saat proses pembelajaran masih didominasi oleh metode ceramah. Kondisi tersebut mencerminkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan dengan situasi nyata di dalam kelas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), yaitu strategi pembelajaran yang menghubungkan materi ajar dengan budaya serta pengalaman pribadi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing mencakup empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa serta lembar observasi untuk menilai aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pada tahap pra siklus, hanya 3 dari 18 siswa (16,67%) yang berhasil mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dengan rata-rata nilai 46,11. Pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan jumlah siswa yang tuntas menjadi 5 orang (27,78%) dengan rata-rata nilai 61,67. Peningkatan yang lebih signifikan terlihat pada siklus II, di mana 12 siswa (66,67%) mencapai KKM dan rata-rata nilai naik menjadi 72,22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang, sekaligus mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran yang terhubung dengan latar belakang budaya mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh pengguna media sosial dalam mengelola bahasa, etika komunikasi digital, dan bentuk resistansi sosial di ruang komentar platform X (Twitter). Ruang komentar di media sosial tidak hanya menjadi tempat berbagi opini, tetapi juga arena pertarungan makna yang sarat dengan ekspresi emosi, kritik sosial, serta dinamika kesantunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis isi tematik terhadap komentar-komentar digital yang berkaitan dengan isu sosial, politik, dan relasi interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga pola utama di mana rendahnya literasi digital tercermin dari ketidakmampuan menyampaikan kritik secara etis, yang tampak dalam penggunaan bahasa kasar dan serangan personal strategi kesantunan digunakan secara selektif bahkan manipulatif, terutama dalam relasi personal sedangkan dalam ruang publik gaya komunikasi cenderung agresif dan resistansi sosial tidak bersifat individual melainkan muncul secara kolektif melalui jejaring komentar yang membentuk kekuatan wacana dari bawah (bottom-up). Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman diskursus digital dengan mengintegrasikan teori kesantunan, literasi digital, dan analisis jaringan komunikasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa ruang komentar bukan sekadar tempat bertukar pendapat melainkan juga medan negosiasi sosial, pembentukan identitas, dan perlawanan simbolik terhadap norma dominan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mendorong pentingnya kesadaran etika digital bagi pengguna dan penguatan kebijakan platform yang mendukung diskursus yang sehat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social media on the use of Indonesian among the younger generation. Social media has become an inseparable part of everyday life, especially for teenagers and young adults. However, the use of language on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter often does not follow the rules of good and correct Indonesian. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach and observation of social media content used by students. The results of the study show that social media has a significant influence on the shift in language use, including the entry of foreign vocabulary, non-standard abbreviations, and a relaxed language style that tends to be informal. This has an impact on decreasing awareness of language in accordance with the Enhanced Spelling (EYD) and grammar rules. However, social media can also be used as a means of learning and promoting Indonesian if used wisely and creatively. Therefore, the role of education is very important in guiding the younger generation to use Indonesian appropriately in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using educational short films in enhancing EMC² competencies (Empathy, Compassion, Mindfulness, and Critical Inquiry) among fifth-grade students at SDN 105327 Pedamean. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach carried out in three cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection instruments included observation sheets, interview guidelines, and student reflection sheets. The results indicated a gradual improvement in EMC² competencies across the cycles. In the first cycle, students showed basic emotional responses but struggled to express meaningful reflections. The second cycle demonstrated increased empathy and compassion through group discussions and roleplay, while the third cycle showed significant growth in mindfulness and critical inquiry through mini debates and reflective journaling. Despite some challenges, such as varied individual responses and verbal participation barriers, educational short films proved effective in fostering students' social-emotional skills. This study recommends integrating short films as a creative and contextual strategy for character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

In the midst of efforts to build a literacy culture, Sanggar Genius Ar Rasyid has actually become a warm space for children to learn and grow. However, the post-pandemic reality shows a significant decline in their interest in reading. Children began to visit rarely. The atmosphere of reading becomes monotonous, activities feel less interesting, and the available facilities are not able to provoke their curiosity. Many of them feel bored, and the spirit of literacy is slowly fading. Seeing this condition, there is an awareness that children need something more than just books and ordinary reading. They need a touch of imagination, color, and lively engagement. So, the solution offered is to present Pop-Up Book media with the theme of folklore, combined with the read aloud technique, a way of reading stories that bring words to life through intonation, expression, and warm interaction. Training on making Pop-Up Books for studio administrators is also the starting point for change. The results were encouraging: the creativity of the administrators increased, fresh ideas popped up, and most importantly, the children were excited again. They not only read, but also hear, imagine, remember, and share stories together. The reading aloud technique makes reading moments more personal, builds closeness, and fosters a sense of love for books. Now, reading is no longer a boring activity.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is a reflection of Indonesian students who have strong character, have critical thinking skills, are creative, independent, and are able to work together in diversity. This concept is in line with the Strengthening of Character Education (PPK) in the 2013 Curriculum, which emphasizes the importance of forming students as individuals who are complete in terms of knowledge, attitude, and skills. This study aims to determine the extent of the implementation of the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile at SMA Negeri 1 Delitua. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data sources consist of teachers as primary data, and students and principals as secondary data that support the integrity of the information. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile indicators at SMA Negeri 1 Delitua has been going quite well. Values ​​such as mutual cooperation, integrity, and noble morals are beginning to be seen in student behavior, both inside and outside the classroom. The application of holistic and contextual principles in the learning process is already apparent in daily activities at school. However, the principles of student-centered learning and explorative principles still require further strengthening so that the learning process is more meaningful. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project has been going well. The project activities are able to encourage students to be actively involved, collaborate, and develop their potential in accordance with the values ​​of Pancasila. However, continuous evaluation and collaboration between stakeholders are needed so that the strengthening of this profile can run consistently and have a real impact on the formation of student character.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Indonesian equivalents that appear in content trends on the TikTok social media platform. The development of digital technology and the increasing use of social media have given rise to new forms of language use, including in terms of equivalents. This study aims to identify and describe how Indonesian equivalents undergo transformation in the context of creative content on TikTok. In the study, there is a problem identification to clarify the details of the problem, based on the formulation above, the problem identification in this study is as follows: Many foreign terms or new terms are used in TikTok content that do not have official equivalents in Indonesian. The use of equivalent words in TikTok content is often not in accordance with Indonesian language rules. Lack of awareness of social media users, especially TikTok users, regarding the importance of using good and correct Indonesian. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and documentation of trending TikTok content in a certain period. The analysis was carried out by tracing the use of words that experienced changes in meaning, expansion of meaning, or the creation of new equivalents that differ from standard rules. The results of the study show that trends on TikTok encourage the formation of variations in equivalent words that are influenced by user creativity, popular language styles, and the need for expressions that are relevant to digital culture. These findings indicate that social media plays a role as a dynamic space in the formation and transformation of the Indonesian language in the modern era.
