Abstract

Objective: The curriculum in Indonesia emphasizes learning with the 5.0 society era approach. The era of society emphasizes learning that is integrated with social culture. But in fact it is difficult to implement because students do not know the visualization of the concepts and problems discussed. Therefore, it is necessary to develop learning media that can provide visualization of problems and integrated social culture. Method: The method used is RnD with 3D design (Define, Design, Development) and the last stage of evaluation Results: The results obtained from this study are virtual simulation media integrated with traditional kekehan games getting a very valid criteria score. The results of students' responses show that virtual simulation media can already help students in helping physics problems. The evaluation results for improvement are related to the visualization of animation for kekehan so that it can move in the concept of moment of inertia and angular momentum. Novelty: Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the validation of virtual simulation media integrated with traditional kekehan games and the response of students after using virtual simulation media integrated with traditional kekehan games

Abstract

Many studies have been conducted on creative thinking and gamification separately, but there is still a gap in the literature that examines the relationship between these two concepts comprehensively in an educational context. This research was conducted with the aim of providing a more holistic understanding of the trending topics between gamification and creative thinking in empirical and theoretical studies, analysing the contribution of each author using the Scopus database through bibliometric analysis with the VOSviewer application. Based on bibliometric analysis, several conclusions are obtained that the results of the metadata obtained show a trend of writing that is growing significantly from 2013 to 2023. In the author collaboration network, it can be seen on the map that there are 8 clusters with the number of author items each totalling 1 item where each author has published 2 documents. From the results of the analysis, the topic of gamification for creativity is still needed and needs to be improved. United States contributes to publishing documents on the topic of gamification for creativity. For the form of publication, most documents are published in the form of articles. So for the right solution in improving CTS can be done by using gamification learning

Abstract

Physics learning is expected not only to focus on understanding theory, but students can apply physics in everyday life. One example of the application of physics that can be used in accordance with the era of society is the traditional game of kekehan. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the validation of the integrated test instrument of traditional kekehan games and the response of students after administering the test instrument. This research uses research and development design with ADDIE model in its development flow. The subject of the study was a test instrument developed integrated with traditional kekehan games, and trials on students. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive from the validity and reliability values. The results obtained show that the instrument developed has very valid criteria. The results of suggestions from validators for improvement are to clarify the question instruction sentence briefly and concisely. The results of students' responses show that the difficulty of the physics concept of kekehan. This shows that there is still a lack of giving problems in physics learning as contextual problems. The general results can be concluded that the integrated creative thinking skills test instrument questions using the kekehan game can be used to test students' thinking skills

Abstract

Physics learning faces serious challenges as students perceive physics as a complex subject that is difficult to implement in daily life. This research aims to explore the local wisdom of fishermen in "Miyang" (fishing) activities in Tuban as a context for ethnoscience-based physics learning and Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) approach on heat transfer concepts. The research method uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, documentation, and literature study techniques. The research subjects are fishermen who carry out Miyang activities in the coastal areas of Tuban Regency. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis through data reduction, triangulation, comparative analysis, description-interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that Tuban fishermen have accurate understanding of land breeze and sea breeze phenomena that align with the concept of heat transfer by convection. Fishermen utilize land breeze for journeys to the open sea at night and sea breeze for return trips during the day, demonstrating efficient utilization of natural energy. This traditional knowledge represents an example of indigenous knowledge that can be integrated into ethnoscience-based physics learning, providing authentic learning contexts that help students understand that physics concepts are integrated into daily life. This research successfully identified land breeze and sea breeze phenomena as complex Socio-Scientific Issues that combine scientific aspects with social dimensions. In conclusion, the local wisdom of Tuban fishermen has a strong scientific foundation and great potential as a source of contextual and meaningful ethnoscience-based physics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the local wisdom of gamelan (saron) and the concept of physics on sound waves and to analyze the effect of the material in gamelan (saron) on sound scales and sound resonance. In this article the experimental method used is qualitative research, with conducting structured interviews with informants, and analyzing the data obtained. In this article, the physics concept contained in the gamelan (saron) is obtained, namely the concept of sound waves. In gamelan (saron) when hitting a blade after being hit, the saron blades are dipitet so that the sound produced is not humming and the tone produced is clear. This is also related to the material for making gamelan (saron) which affects the sound produced or sound quality. Each blade or scale on the saron is different from the thinnest to the thickest. From this article it is concluded that gamelan (saron) is related to physics learning, namely sound waves. The materials and ladder blades in the gamelan (saron) affect the quality of the sound produced. Gamelan (saron) teaches Javanese cultural values ??and as a benchmark for the height or civilization of a nation.

Abstract

This study offers an evaluation of previous research that shows the importance of argumentation learning in science to improve critical thinking through bibliometrics. This study aims to describe the trend, contribution, and stages of argumentation strategies in science to improve critical thinking skills. The research method used is a bibliometric study and a systematic literature review. The data that met the requirements in this study were 257 documents from Scopus. The results obtained indicate that argumentation research in science to improve critical thinking skills continues to increase. One of the countries that contributed to this study was Indonesia. Research findings indicate that argumentation is effective in improving critical thinking skills through pattern analysis. This is evidenced by the results of a literature review that scientific argumentation patterns can improve critical thinking skills through real-world problems by providing several reasons. Thus, it can be concluded that argumentation in science learning can improve critical thinking skills through experienced facts. This research is expected to contribute to the importance of argumentation in science education, understand current research trends and contributions, and encourage the implementation or development of argumentation-based learning strategies.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has led to its increasing integration into education, including in subjects like physics that require high-level cognitive skills. This study compares human responses with those generated by AI models (ChatGPT and DeepSeek) to physics problems designed to measure creative thinking skills while exploring the philosophical patterns in AI reasoning as a reflection of human cognition. Using a qualitative-comparative method, responses were analyzed based on fluency, elaboration, originality, and flexibility, focusing on the concept of moment of inertia within the traditional "Kekehan" game. Findings show that while AI responses demonstrated structured reasoning and elaboration, human answers were more contextually relevant and original, rooted in experience. DeepSeek produced more detailed responses than ChatGPT, but both showed tendencies toward generalization. The results indicate that AI, though useful as a support tool, lacks the genuine creativity of human thinking. The study suggests that reliance on AI in education should be balanced with strategies that foster human creativity and critical thinking. Philosophical reflection is necessary to redefine AI's role in education, ensuring it complements rather than replaces human intellectual development.
