Abstract

This research focuses on innovative public relations (PR) strategies in addressing the reconstruction of the quality of Islamic education in the era of disruption, emphasizing the importance of integrating digital intelligence and strengthening 21st-century adaptive skills. The background of this research is based on the urgent need for Islamic educational institutions, particularly madrasas, to respond to global challenges through collaborative, visionary, and value-based communication approaches. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study methods on Islamic education units in the Probolinggo region. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation analysis. The results show that PR strategies that combine the use of digital technology, strengthening Islamic character, and 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication, can enhance stakeholder participation, strengthen the institution's image, and and building public trust. The implications of this research emphasize that the reconstruction of the quality of Islamic education requires the active role of PR as a strategic transformation agent, while also serving as a guardian of spiritual values amid disruptive waves of change.

Abstract

This study focuses on the adaptation of Islamic education quality in response to the dynamic social, cultural, and technological changes of the modern era, using a case study at MTs Sunan Ampel Kamalkuning. The main objective is to analyze the quality development model implemented at the madrasah and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the adaptation process. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of various educational elements within the madrasah. The findings reveal that MTs Sunan Ampel Kamalkuning has successfully adapted its educational quality by integrating Islamic values with digital learning innovations, strengthening student character, and actively involving the community and parents. Transformational leadership by the principal and teacher collaboration emerged as key success factors in this development process. The madrasah has effectively responded to the challenges of the digital era while maintaining its Islamic identity and foundational values. The study implies that improving the quality of Islamic education requires a holistic approach that encompasses managerial, pedagogical, and spiritual aspects. These findings can serve as a reference for other Islamic educational institutions in formulating adaptive strategies amid rapid change, and open avenues for developing broader and more applicable quality models across diverse madrasah contexts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study focuses on curriculum innovation in Islamic education in response to the challenges of globalization and the value crisis affecting contemporary Muslim societies. The primary objective of this research is to identify and analyze how Islamic schools, particularly Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid, develop and implement a curriculum that is adaptive to global changes while remaining rooted in Islamic values. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that curriculum innovation is carried out through the integration of Islamic values and 21st-century global competencies such as digital literacy, collaboration, and problem-solving. These innovations encompass structural, pedagogical, and ideological reforms tailored to the unique characteristics of pesantren institutions. However, the implementation still faces challenges related to the readiness of human resources and tensions between innovation and the preservation of traditional values. The implications of this research highlight the importance of a contextual and participatory curriculum approach to strengthen the role of Islamic education as a transformative agent of values in the global era.

Abstract

Nationalism is one of the core principles that shapes a nation's identity and character, and it should be instilled from an early age. At the elementary level, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Civic Education (PKn) serves as a strategic medium to foster a sense of love for the homeland and pride in being an Indonesian citizen. However, conventional teaching approaches that tend to be one-way and lack active student involvement often make the learning process unengaging and less meaningful for students. Based on a literature review, this article aims to evaluate the role of interactive media in fostering nationalism among MI students. This study employs a literature analysis method, reviewing various sources related to Civic Education and the use of interactive media. The findings indicate that using interactive media such as educational games, instructional videos, digital animations, and other digital platforms can enhance student participation, strengthen understanding of the material, and more effectively instill the values of nationalism. With a more contextual, communicative, and participatory approach, Civic Education can become more engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful for students. Therefore, integrating interactive media into Civic Education at the MI level is highly recommended to support the optimal internalization of national values from an early age.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing the trends of public relations (PR) management in Islamic education at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, aiming to explore how communication strategies, the use of digital media, and social relations with communities and alumni are developed to strengthen the institution’s image. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis within the context of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, located on KH. Zaini Mun’im Street, Karanganyar, Paiton, Probolinggo. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and analytically to identify key patterns that illustrate the PR practices at the pesantren. The findings reveal that the institution’s PR management has transformed through three crucial aspects: strengthening transparent and responsive communication strategies, utilizing digital media such as Instagram, YouTube, and the official website as institutional branding tools, and building social networks with communities and alumni to reinforce legitimacy. However, limited human resources, uneven digital skills, and restricted financial support remain the main challenges. The implication of this study highlights that developing PR in pesantren during the digital era requires not only technological innovation but also internal capacity building and external collaboration, providing valuable insights for enhancing Islamic educational PR strategies in similar institutions.

Abstract

Perencanaan strategis dalam optimalisasi sistem teknologi informasi memainkan peran yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing organisasi. Dalam penelitian ini, dibahas tentang tahapan perencanaan yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan organisasi, desain arsitektur sistem, pemilihan teknologi yang sesuai, serta alokasi sumber daya yang efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan analisis deskriptif, yang mengkaji berbagai aspek penting dalam perencanaan strategis, implementasi infrastruktur, pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM, serta monitoring dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi langkah-langkah yang dapat diambil dalam pengembangan sistem teknologi informasi, termasuk pemilihan teknologi yang tepat, penerapan kebijakan keamanan informasi, serta peran pelatihan SDM dalam mendukung keberhasilan implementasi teknologi baru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi informasi yang optimal, pengembangan kompetensi SDM, serta evaluasi yang berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan. Dengan penerapan metode yang tepat dalam perencanaan dan implementasi teknologi informasi, organisasi dapat memanfaatkan potensi transformasi digital untuk menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif di pasar yang semakin dinamis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi media publikasi dan strategi kehumasan dalam meningkatkan perceived quality dan brand association di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. Dalam era digital, peran media publikasi, mulai dari advertising hingga cyber public relations, menjadi krusial dalam membangun citra lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola humas, analisis dokumen, dan observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas kehumasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media publikasi yang efektif, seperti e-WOM (electronic Word of Mouth), promosi penjualan, dan interaksi simbolik melalui media sosial, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan perceived quality. Selain itu, strategi kehumasan yang berorientasi pada pengelolaan brand association, seperti membangun corporate image yang positif dan meningkatkan brand loyalty di kalangan santri dan masyarakat, mampu memperkuat kepercayaan publik terhadap pesantren. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya integrasi strategi kehumasan berbasis teknologi dengan pendekatan etika kehumasan untuk menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis antara pesantren dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model komunikasi dua arah yang simetris untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas media publikasi dalam mendukung keberlanjutan citra positif Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of sustainable education financing in vocational high schools, which demand managerial innovation based on educational entrepreneurship. Edupreneurship is viewed as a strategic approach oriented not only toward strengthening student competencies but also toward improving school performance and the sustainability of education financing. This study aims to examine in depth how edupreneurship management is implemented to improve performance and financial sustainability at SMK Negeri 1 Glagah Banyuwangi. The research employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis techniques that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that edupreneurship management integrated with practical learning, production units, and teaching factories can improve school performance while simultaneously strengthening sources of sustainable education financing. Edupreneurship functions as a mutually reinforcing pedagogical and economic instrument within the school management system. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening institutional policies, school leadership, and curriculum integration as prerequisites for the success of edupreneurship in supporting sustainable vocational education financing.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan menuntut lembaga pendidikan keagamaan, termasuk madrasah diniyah, untuk mengadopsi sistem pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, akuntabel, dan berbasis teknologi. Namun, digitalisasi di madrasah diniyah sering kali masih bersifat parsial dan terbatas pada penggunaan media sederhana, tanpa menyentuh aspek manajerial pembelajaran seperti perencanaan dan evaluasi berbasis data. Berangkat dari kondisi tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini berfokus pada bimbingan teknis penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Google Classroom dan Google Forms bagi guru dan tenaga kependidikan Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi digital pendidik dalam mengintegrasikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran secara sistematis dalam satu ekosistem digital. Novelty pengabdian ini terletak pada pendekatan integratif yang tidak hanya melatih keterampilan teknis penggunaan LMS, tetapi juga mengaitkannya dengan manajemen pembelajaran dan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam konteks madrasah diniyah nonformal, yang selama ini relatif jarang disentuh dalam praktik pengabdian. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis, serta monitoring dan evaluasi, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan penugasan praktik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP digital, mengelola kelas daring, serta melaksanakan dan menganalisis evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis LMS. Implikasi pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi LMS secara holistik dapat menjadi model strategis penguatan mutu dan tata kelola pembelajaran digital di madrasah diniyah, sekaligus membuka peluang replikasi program serupa pada lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal lainnya.

Abstract

Perubahan dalam paradigma pendidikan memerlukan adanya sistem penilaian yang tidak hanya terfokus pada penguasaan informasi, tetapi juga dapat mengevaluasi sikap dan keterampilan siswa secara menyeluruh. Dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), perancangan evaluasi pembelajaran harus dilakukan untuk menilai pencapaian kompetensi siswa secara holistik, sejalan dengan tujuan pembentukan karakter dan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam. Salah satu pendekatan yang dianggap relevan yaitu asesmen autentik, yang merupakan metode penilaian yang mengukur keterampilan siswa melalui kegiatan yang mencerminkan kondisi nyata dan penerapan kompetensi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi penggunaan asesmen autentik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran PAI sebagai upaya untuk mengukur kompetensi siswa secara utuh. Metode yang diterapkan adalah kajian pustaka dengan meneliti berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti buku, artikel jurnal, hasil penelitian, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan asesmen autentik dan evaluasi pembelajaran PAI. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi konsep, prinsip, implementasi, serta efektivitas asesmen autentik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Hasil dari kajian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen autentik dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih menyeluruh mengenai kompetensi siswa karena mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik secara terintegrasi. Penerapan asesmen autentik tersebut dalam pembelajaran PAI berpotensi meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, memperkuat pembentukan karakter religius, serta mendorong pengaplikasian nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi asesmen autentik merupakan langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan evaluasi pembelajaran PAI yang berarti, objektif, dan fokus pada pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara keseluruhan. Kata kunci : Holistik, Asesmen Autentik, Evaluasi pembelajaran, PAI.   Abstrac Shifts in educational paradigms necessitate an assessment system that goes beyond a mere focus on information mastery to comprehensively evaluate students' attitudes and skills. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), learning evaluations must be designed to assess student competency holistically, aligning with the goals of character building and the application of Islamic values. One relevant approach is authentic assessment—a method that measures student skills through activities reflecting real-world conditions and the application of competencies in daily life. This article aims to examine the optimization of authentic assessment in PAI learning evaluations as a means to comprehensively measure student competency. A literature review method was employed, analyzing various scholarly sources—such as books, journal articles, research findings, and education policy documents—related to authentic assessment and PAI learning evaluation. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the concepts, principles, implementation, and effectiveness of authentic assessment within PAI instruction. The study reveals that authentic assessment provides a more comprehensive picture of student competency by integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Implementing authentic assessment in PAI learning has the potential to enhance student participation, strengthen the formation of religious character, and encourage the application of Islamic values ​​in daily life. Thus, optimizing authentic assessment represents a strategic step toward achieving PAI learning evaluations that are meaningful, objective, and focused on the holistic development of student competency.
