Abstract

The background of this research was to examine the performance of homemade urine control materials on urine chloride examination. This study was aimed to test the performance of homemade control materials from addition and spike placebo simulation on urine chloride examination using the Fantus method. This research applied an experimental research method. The stages of the study started with standardization of AgNO3 solution, preparation of urine control materials from addition and spike placebo simulation, as well as calculation of accuracy (%R), bias (%d) and coefficient of variation (%CV). The results showed that the normal and pathological levels of accuracy in the urine control materials from addition were 109.55% and 104.30%, while the accuracy values (%R) ​​for urine control materials from spike placebo simulation, for the normal and pathological levels, were high, 110.07% and 104.54%. The bias values (%d) obtained in the urine control materials from addition with normal and high pathological levels were 9.55% and 4.30% bias, while the bias values (%d) in the urine control materials from spike placebo simulation with normal and high pathological levels were 10.07% and 4.54%. The coefficient variation (%CV) values ​​in urine control materials from addition at normal and pathological high levels were 3.75% and 3.07%, while the %CV values ​​in urine control materials from spike placebo simulation at normal and high pathological levels were 4.55% and 3.11%. This study concludes that based on the accuracy (%R) and bias (%d) parameters, the homemade control materials from addition and spike placebo simulation have relatively good performance for urine chloride examination using the Fantus method. Meanwhile, based on the parameter of coefficient of variation (%CVV), the homemade control materials from the addition and spike placebo simulation have slightly lower performance for examining urine chloride with the Fantus method.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kandungan asam palmitat pada bahan baku dan produk hasil sintesis asam lemak analog pada ASI atau Analogue Fatty Acid in Breast Milk (AFABM). Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Metode penelusuran menggunakan kata kunci metode PICO (Population, Intervention Comparison, Outcome). Dibandingkan minyak nabati yang lain, stearin sawit merupakan bahan sintesis AFABM yang memiliki kandungan asam palmitat relatif tinggi. Kandungan asam palmitat teresterifikasi pada posisi sn-2 tertinggi pada bahan baku sintesis AFABM adalah stearin sawit, sedangkan pada produk hasil sintesis adalah pada bahan baku minyak kedelei diperkaya palmitat dan Stearidonic Acid (SDA).

Abstract

Bintang-Bintang Kindergarten is one of the kindergartens located in Argomulyo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, D.I Yogyakarta. The existence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, forcing all residents of the Bintang-Bintang Kindergarten school to try to prevent COVID-19 infection. Consumption of vitamin C is considered capable of being one way to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The aim of this service is to conduct training on the simple method of vitamin C detection. This method is sufficient to provide accurate inspection results. It only takes ingredients that are widely available at home. Materials needed such as starch (can be replaced with cornstarch) and iodine (can be replaced with wound medicine such as betadine). Partner's problems are lack of adequate knowledge related to Vitamin C, partner's skills about detecting Vitamin C quickly inadequate, knowledge in distinguishing high and low levels of vitamin C in a food or beverage still needs to be improved, does not yet have adequate facilities for promotion food health related to Vitamin C, for example posters and vitamin C education modules. The solutions offered are education related to vitamin C materials and providing training on Vitamin C detection in a quick and easy method. Outcomes of service are training modules, activity videos, and an increase in knowledge of as many as school partners in vitamin C detection 40.37% as well as increased skills in vitamin C detection.

Abstract

AbstrakPada dasarnya, semua jenis kulit pisang dapat diolah menjadi tepung, namun yang terbaik adalah kulit Pisang Musa sapientum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari profil fitokimia, proksimat dan organoleptik tepung kulit pisang Musa sapientum pada pembuatan donat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Profil fitokimia dan proksimat diperoleh dari hasil analisis laboratorium, sedangkan profil organoleptik tepung kulit pisang pada pembuatan donat diperoleh dari hasil uji daya terima donat terhadap 60 orang panelis. Profil fitokimia yang dianalisis adalah aktivitas antioksidan, kadar antosianin dan karoten. Profil organoleptik tepung kulit pisang Musa sapientum yang dianalisis pada pembuatan donat adalah rasa, warna, tekstur dan aroma. Profil proksimat yang dianalisis adalah kadar air, abu, lemak, protein, karbohidrat, serat dan rendemen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas antioksidan tepung kulit pisang Musa sapientum adalah 61,26 %, kadar antosianin adalah 15,62 mg/100g, kadar karoten adalah 136,61 ppm, kadar air adalah 6,92 %, kadar abu adalah 1,89 %, kadar lemak adalah 2,82 %, kadar protein adalah 5,31 %, kadar karbohidrat adalah 73,98 %, kadar serat adalah 40,58 % dan rendemen adalah 40,05 %. Profil organoleptik tepung kulit pisang Musa sapientum pada pembuatan donat dengan substituen tepung kulit pisang sebanyak 25 % pada skala 1-5, parameter rasa memperoleh nilai yaitu 4,37, warna 3.36, tekstur 3,54, aroma 3,68. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tepung kulit pisang raja relatif efektif sebagai substituent tepung kulit pisang pada pembuatan donat dengan jumlah substituent sebanyak 25 %. Saran penelitian ini adalah dilakukan variasi subtituen tepung kulit pisang Musa sapientum pada pembuatan donat. Kata kunci: tepung, kulit pisang, donat Basically, all types of banana peel can be processed into flour, but the best is Musa sapientum Banana peel. This study aimed to study the phytochemical profile, proximate and organoleptic of banana peel flour of Musa sapientum on the making of donuts. The research method used was quantitative analysis method. Phytochemical and proximate profiles were obtained from laboratory analysis, while organoleptic profile of banana peel flour on donut production was obtained from donut acceptance test result on 60 panelists. Phytochemical profiles analyzed were antioxidant activity, anthocyanin and carotene levels. Organoleptic profile of banana peel flour Musa sapientum analyzed on the making of donuts are flavor, color, texture and aroma. Proximate profiles analyzed were moisture content, ash, fat, protein, carbohydrate, fiber and yield. The results showed that antioxidant activity of Musa sapientum banana flour was 61,26%, antocyanin content was 15,62 mg / 100g, carotene content was 136,61 ppm, water content was 6,92%, ash content was 1,89%, fat content was 2 , 82%, protein content was 5,31%, carbohydrate level was 73,98%, fiber content 40,58% and yield 40,05%. Organoleptic profile of banana peel flour Musa sapientum on making donut with 25% banana peel flour substituents on scale 1-5, taste parameter got value was 4,37, color was 3,36, texture was 3,54, aroma was 3,68. The conclusion of this research was banana peel flour was relatively effective as substituent of banana peel flour on the making of donut with the amount of substituent as much as 25%. Jumlahnya yang sedikit dan dapat berkurang karena preparasi sampel menjadi sebab perlunya dilakukan uji presisi agar diketahui ketelitian hasil uji laboratorium. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui presisi dalam pengukuran kalsium pada Air Susu Ibu (ASI). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan alat Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (SSA). Penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan, kategorisasi, preparasi, pengukuran dan pengolahan data hasil penelitian. Perhitungan presisi dilakukan dalam tiga kali pengujian dengan 20 data pada setiap pengujian. Presisi akan dihitung berdasarkan nilai Koefisien Variasi (KV). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata hasil pengukuran kalsium ASI pada kelompok uji A, B, dan C adalah 105,408, 104,795 dan 110,032 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengujian kalsium pada kelompok uji A, B dan C diperoleh nilai %KV berturut-turut 0,582, 0,464 dan 0,444% dan nilai 0,67*KV Horwitz berturut-turut 3197, 5,3185 dan 5,3149. Simpulan, pengukuran kadar kalsium dalam ASI menunjukkan nilai presisi yang baik dengan hasil uji yang memenuhi syarat keberterimaan presisi karena menunjukkan nilai %KV lebih kecil dari nilai 0,6*KV Horwitz.Kata kunci: air susu ibu, kalsium, uji presisi

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the best source of food for babies under 6 months. Breast milk storage is thought to affect the components of the breastmilk. Research aim: to determine the levels of lactic acid in exclusive breast milk, both before and after storage at room temperature and refrigerator temperature. The study used experimental design with pre and posttest design. Lactic acid levels in breast milk were measured using an alkalimetric titration method. The selected breast milk storage temperature is room temperature (27-290 C), refrigerator temperature (2-40C), and the selected storage time is 0 and 4 hours. The sample were twenty (20) bottles of breastmilk from ten (10) breastfeeding mothers with a maximum lactation period of 6 months (exclusive breastfeeding) who live in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique. The level of lactic acid in breast milk after storage at room temperature (27-290C) for 4 hours increased by 15.942%, while levels of lactic acid in breast milk after storage at refrigerator temperature (2-40C) for 4 hours increased as much as 2.309%. There is an increase in lactic acid levels of breast milk both after storage at room temperature and refrigerator temperature for 4 hours.

Abstract

Ibu merupakan seorang perempuan yang memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab besar dalam menjaga Kesehatan seluruh anggota keluarganya. Sehingga sangatlah penting setiap ibu memiliki pengetahuan tentang kesehatan dan keamanan pangan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut,pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menentukan ibu PKK RT 35 di Perumahan Griya Kencana Permai untuk dijadikan mitra. Tujuan pengabdian adalah memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan dan keamanan pangan serta praktik mengenali komposisi makanan. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kapada masyarakat meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra, penyusunan materi penyuluhan, membuat video, menyediakan soal  pretest dan post test,  dan melakukan evaluasi kegiatan. Target yang akan dicapai yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan terkait kesehatan dan keamanan pangan, publikasi jurnal nasional, publikasi dimedia masa, dan poster hasil kegiatan PkM. Hasil kegiatan yaitu terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu PKK terkait kesehatan dan keamanan pangan.

Abstract

Abstract: Quantitative research aims to identify the omega fatty acids in exclusive breast milk (ASI) Exclusive. The data analysis used data chromatogram Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). The data generated is breast milk (ASI) had higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids amounting to 28.24%, omega-6 and omega of 0.57% 9 at 26.56%. The conclusion from this study is there is the content of omega-3, omega-6, omega-9 fatty acids in breast milk (ASI). Highest levels of omega fatty acids in breast milk is the omega-3 fatty acid that is equal to 28.24%.Keywords: milk, omega fatty acids, GC-MS

Abstract

In clinical diagnosis, 80% is based on laboratory examination, however, laboratory examination still often cause errors, so it is necessary to apply a sigma matrix to evaluation. This study goes on to explain the results of previous studies on the sigma urea and creatinine matrix results in various laboratories. A literature review strategy was used in the research. A variety of databases, including Pubmed, Proquest, and Willey Library Online, were used to choose the literature. Ten publications were selected as literature sources and were quantitatively analyzed descriptively. The lowest urea sigma matrix value was 1.3, and creatinine was -2.33, according to data from numerous publications, while the highest urea sigma matrix value was 5.81, and creatinine was 19.02. In the urea sigma matrix, the most widely distributed sigma matrix values was in the range <2 with the interpretation of the results was not acceptable. In the urea matrix, the highest distribution of sigma matrix values was in in the range 6 with world-class quality interpretation. It was concluded that in 15 research data from various journals there were 8 urea sigma matrix data that met the requirements, namely the sigma matrix value. 3 In 27 research data from various journals, there were 23 creatinine sigma matrix data that meet the requirements.
