Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani anggota Persatuan Tenis Meja Citra di Kabupaten Purwakarta melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan program latihan fisik yang terstruktur. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi komunitas adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan penerapan program latihan yang sistematis dan sesuai prinsip kebugaran jasmani. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui lima tahapan: identifikasi masalah, penyusunan program latihan, pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pelatihan, evaluasi kegiatan, serta tindak lanjut keberlanjutan program. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket pre-test serta post-test, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi program latihan berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya latihan fisik. Terdapat peningkatan jumlah peserta yang mampu memahami prinsip latihan fisik dari 20% menjadi 85%, serta peningkatan keterampilan teknik dasar seperti forehand drive sebesar 40%. Selain itu, muncul inisiatif dari anggota komunitas untuk melanjutkan program latihan secara mandiri. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa sosialisasi dan pelatihan program kebugaran berbasis komunitas melalui media olahraga tenis meja efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran, pemahaman, dan kemampuan fisik peserta. Kegiatan ini direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan secara luas pada komunitas olahraga lainnya sebagai strategi peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pelatihan tenis meja memiliki potensi sebagai media edukasi sekaligus pengembangan keterampilan motorik anggota klub olahraga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan penguasaan teknik dasar dan koordinasi motorik melalui pelatihan terstruktur. Program dilaksanakan selama 4 minggu dengan 8 kali pertemuan yang diikuti oleh 20 anggota klub tenis meja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, praktik teknik dasar, simulasi taktik, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan motorik (wall rally test dan footwork test), observasi kehadiran, serta kuesioner kepuasan. Tingkat kehadiran peserta rata-rata mencapai 95,6%, menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap kegiatan. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: wall rally test meningkat dari 28,4 menjadi 47,9 pukulan (68,7%), sedangkan footwork test meningkat dari 15,2 menjadi 25,7 langkah (69,1%). Evaluasi kepuasan peserta menggunakan skala Likert (1–5) menghasilkan skor rata-rata 4,6 (kategori sangat puas), dengan aspek metode praktikum memperoleh nilai tertinggi (4,8). Berdasarkan hasil ini, pelatihan tenis meja terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik sekaligus memberikan pengalaman edukatif bagi peserta. Kegiatan ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan kualitas pembinaan olahraga di tingkat klub dan dapat direplikasi untuk konteks pengembangan keterampilan motorik dalam cabang olahraga lainnya.

Abstract

Program Active School Movement (ASM) di SMPN 177 Jakarta bertujuan meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa melalui aktivitas sepakbola. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 siswa kelas VIII dengan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif yang mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan. Selama empat minggu, siswa mengikuti latihan dua kali per minggu meliputi teknik dasar, permainan kecil, dan tes kebugaran jasmani (TKJI). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada daya tahan jantung-paru sebesar 15,4%, kekuatan otot tungkai 12,8%, kelincahan 10,5%, dan koordinasi 13,7%. Sebagian besar siswa (93%) menyatakan kegiatan ini meningkatkan motivasi berolahraga, sedangkan 90% guru PJOK menilai program efektif mendukung pembelajaran aktif. Implementasi ASM melalui sepakbola terbukti efektif menumbuhkan kebiasaan aktif, meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani, serta memperkuat karakter sportif siswa SMP.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani para atlet Perguruan Pencak Silat Bima Suci Purwakarta melalui penerapan aktivitas fisik terpadu berbasis prinsip latihan ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan bahwa sebagian atlet memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani yang belum optimal akibat kurangnya pemahaman mengenai metode latihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan fisik pencak silat modern. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi tahap observasi kondisi awal kebugaran, perancangan program latihan terpadu, pelaksanaan latihan fisik terstruktur (meliputi latihan daya tahan, kekuatan, kelincahan, dan kelenturan), serta evaluasi melalui pengukuran kebugaran jasmani menggunakan instrumen Tes Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI). Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kekuatan otot, daya tahan jantung-paru, serta koordinasi gerak setelah enam minggu penerapan program latihan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berdampak pada meningkatnya kesadaran para atlet dan pelatih terhadap pentingnya perencanaan latihan yang berbasis ilmiah dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan performa fisik atlet, tetapi juga memperkuat peran perguruan pencak silat sebagai wadah pembinaan olahraga berbasis kebugaran jasmani.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah dasar memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan gerak fundamental peserta didik. Namun, keterbatasan variasi model pembelajaran sering berdampak pada rendahnya penguasaan gerak dasar serta kurangnya motivasi dan keaktifan peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran gerak fundamental melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan atletik di SDN 01 Pondok Pucung. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24–25 Oktober 2025 dengan melibatkan guru PJOK dan peserta didik kelas IV dan V. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan penguasaan gerak fundamental peserta didik pada aspek lokomotor, non-lokomotor, dan manipulatif. Selain itu, penerapan modifikasi permainan atletik juga meningkatkan motivasi dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran PJOK. Guru PJOK memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan ini karena dinilai mudah diterapkan dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modifikasi permainan atletik merupakan alternatif pembelajaran PJOK yang efektif untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran gerak fundamental di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical condition of football players at SMP Negeri 20 Kerinci. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive research type. This descriptive study analyzes and describes the physical condition of football players at SMP Negeri 20 Kerinci. Participants in this study were 35 players who represented the population. The results of the study found that out of 35 football players at SMP Negeri 20 Kerinci who had physical conditions, only 2 people (5.71%) were in the very good category and 10 people (28.57%) were in the good category. 9 people (25.71%) were in the moderate category, 13 people (37.14%) were in the poor category, 1 person (2.86%) was in the very poor category. This means that most players do not have good physical conditions. As a player or athlete, it is important to have good physical conditions so that performance during the match is optimal.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the effectiveness of breaststroke swimming technique training using slow-motion video in improving the basic techniques of students in the Physical Education Program at Pamulang University. The research method employed was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consisted of 40 students, divided into two groups: the experimental group received treatment using slow-motion video, while the control group underwent training using conventional demonstration methods. Assessment was conducted on five aspects of breaststroke technique: body position, arm movement, leg movement, breathing coordination, and movement rhythm.The results showed a significant improvement in technique scores in both groups, with the experimental group achieving a statistically higher improvement (p < 0.05). The average posttest score for the experimental group reached 20.15, while the control group only reached 16.85. The most notable improvements occurred in movement coordination and rhythm. The use of slow-motion video provided detailed visual feedback, allowing students to observe and correct movement errors independently. It can be concluded that slow-motion video is an effective learning medium for enhancing mastery of basic breaststroke techniques. These findings support the application of visual technology as an innovative strategy in motor skill learning, particularly in higher education physical education settings.

Abstract

Decision-making ability is a critical cognitive skill in soccer. However, conventional technique-based instruction has not been optimal in developing this aspect among Physical Education students. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Tactical Games Approach (TGA) in enhancing decision-making skills among Physical Education students at Pamulang University. Method: This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design. The subjects consisted of 30 students divided into two groups: the experimental group (TGA) and the control group (conventional method). The instrument used was the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI), focusing on the decision-making component. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and effect size calculation (Cohen’s d). Results: The results showed that the experimental group improved their GPAI scores from 10.73 to 15.47, while the control group increased from 10.60 to 12.13. The t-test revealed a significant difference between the two groups in the posttest (p = 0.000), with an effect size of 2.59, categorized as a very large effect. Conclusion: The Tactical Games Approach was proven to be significantly effective in enhancing decision-making skills in soccer. This model is highly recommended for use in game-based sports instruction at the university level, particularly in preparing students to become both technically skilled and tactically competent.

Abstract

This study aims to improve university students’ discus throwing technique through the implementation of hip rotation training based on a biomechanical approach. The main issue addressed is the low quality of hip rotation technique and insufficient throwing distance among students enrolled in athletic practicum courses. The research was conducted at the Physical Education Study Program, Universitas Pamulang, involving 24 second-semester students as research participants. The method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out over two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed that systematic hip rotation training significantly improved students’ discus throwing techniques. The average throwing distance increased from 13.2 meters in the pre-cycle to 15.1 meters in the first cycle, and further to 17.6 meters in the second cycle. Likewise, the percentage of students demonstrating adequate technique rose markedly from 16.7% (pre-cycle) to 58.3% (Cycle I), and reached 87.5% in Cycle II. Hip rotation training effectively enhanced postural stability, body coordination, and energy transfer efficiency during throwing movements. These findings indicate that hip rotation training is an effective and applicable instructional strategy for improving technical skills in sports, particularly in discus throwing. The biomechanical approach used in this study can serve as a practical learning model for athletics courses in higher education settings. Therefore, integrating hip rotation exercises into physical education curricula is highly recommended to optimize students’ motor skill development.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the body language of table tennis athletes from a semiotic perspective and its implications for physical education and sports. Body language was understood as a form of nonverbal communication conveying messages, emotions, and intentions without words. The study employed a qualitative descriptive-analytic approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and visual documentation involving ten athletes, two coaches, and one organization administrator. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion stages based on the theories of icon, index, and symbol signs. The results indicated five main categories of athlete body language: readiness (85 %), aggressiveness (70 %), emotional control (60 %), social interaction (55 %), and post-match expression (100 %). These body movements functioned not only as biomechanical responses but also as a system of signs reflecting psychological states, game strategies, and values of sportsmanship. The findings confirmed that athletes’ bodies served as a medium of symbolic communication with pedagogical implications in physical education. Practical implications include the importance for coaches and teachers to recognize and utilize nonverbal cues in character development, enhance training effectiveness, and develop more reflective and communicative learning models.
