Abstract

The value of cultural wisdom that exist in the society in Kaur District, Bengkulu Province, could beapplied in the form of verbal message. They believe that verbal messages, which are used, are convincedby community as a heritage that could become a social regulation. The lack of communication betweengovernment and the community becomes the factor in implementing these values. The lack of attentionfrom the government put culture seemed to be an obstacle factor in development. Documenting thelocal knowledge of community related to cultural values became a problem in contributing to thedevelopment. This verbal messages are called as larangan jurai and used by the community in the NapalHijau village, Muara Sahung, Kaur District, Bengkulu Province. Larangan jurai contains regulations tocommunicate with each other, culture, and the Creator. This study gives an overview about manners,habits, behaviours, and customs as social regulations in the community. The community believed thatlarangan jurai could be able to give the contribution of development in various fields.

Abstract

Indonesia has nations and culture scattered around 17,000 ranges island, starting from sabang to the west, to marauke to the east irian jaya.Life the people in indonesia has the pattern formed based on the influence of local culture place they live.This means culture and style community life in indonesia varies.One of the influential in the life of people will examined is a culture and the community mores their kuta, kabupaten ciamis, west java. Their customary kuta shows a pattern spread out and did not feel certain .This research aims to review the application of local cultural factors in the life of the indigenous people of kampung kuta . The methodology that was used is mixed methods , with a design research used in this research was sequential exploratory designs .The data collection was done by interviews , observation and spreading kampung kuta watchful such research to the community. Results or research is the their kuta always apply cultural factors and customstheir kuta in her life, starting with the smallest to great things though because people would hold fast in culture pamali. Abstract

Lanjut Usia (lansia) memiliki kerentanan aspek fisik, mental, sosial, maupun ekonomi, sehingga memerlukan pelayanan yang optimal. Pelayanan ini bisa dicapai melalui pola komunikasi yang tepat bagi para lansia, yang sesuai dengan adat budaya masing-masing lansia. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji Pola Komunikasi Pelayanan Lansia dalam Perspektif Adat Budaya Di Bengkulu, khususnya adat budaya Suku Serawai di Desa Talang Kabu Kecamatan Ilir Talo Kabupaten Seluma. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus, studi dokumentasi dan observasi lapangan. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah dan dianalisa secara kualitatif sehingga tercapai maksud dan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Masyarakat Desa Talang Kabu, merupakan kumpulan masyarakat yang berasal dari tiga jungku (komunitas) yaitu Jungku Talang Kabu Lamo, Jungku Patih Layang dan Jungku Penago. 2) Suku Serawai, khususnya di Desa Talang Kabu memandang makna lansia sebagai orang yang dihormati, dimuliakan, dan dituakan dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa. Hal ini terlihat dari cara komunikasi atau interaksi masyarakat desa dengan orang tua atau lansia, baik yang masih hidup maupun para orang tua yang sudah meninggal dunia, 3) Pelayanan terhadap warga lanjut usia di Talang Kabu dilakukan melalui: a) Pola komunikasi primer sebagaimana dilakukan oleh lansia dalam menyampaikan nasehat kehidupan bagi anak dan cucunya yang sedang melaksanakan prosesi pernikahan, b) Pola komunikasi sekunder, seperti berkomunikasi melalui gambar dalam handphone untuk menjelaskan maksud yang akan disampaikan, c) Pola komunikasi linier, sebagaimana diterapkan ketika mengarahkan perilaku lansia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari atau mengarahkan lansia melaksanakan aktifitas keseharian. Pola komunikasi pelayanan pada lansia ini mencakup fungsi komunikasi; sosial, ekspresif, ritual, dan instrumental. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka direkomendasikan kepada Kepala Desa  Talang Kabu dan Aparat Desa, dibantu Kelompok PKK, Posyandu, dan Lembaga Adat, untuk: 1) Pembuatan profil masing- masing lansia 2) Pembentukan Paguyuban Keluarga Lansia di Desa Talang Kabu, 3) Mengaktifkan kembali ruang kreatifitas warga lanjut usia.Kata Kunci : Adat Budaya, Pola Komunikasi, Pelayanan Lansia

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the meaning of the message contained in the carved reliefs of the Hindu temple building at the Dharma Yatra temple, Rama Agung village. The research method uses qualitative research methods to analyze the meaning of the messages contained in the relief carvings of Hindu temple buildings in the village of Rama Agung using hermeneutic theory. The results of the study show that the meaning of the messages contained in the relief carvings of Hindu temples at the Dharma Yatra temple have meanings that mostly contain religious meanings and social messages and norms that apply in society in the village of Rama Agung. The religious meaning is in the form of the meaning of religious values ​​and religious teachings, especially Hinduism, the meaning of social messages, namely social rules and regulations that apply in the community in the village of Rama Agung and norms or rules have the meaning of traditional law or customary law of Hindus in the Rama Agung village.

Abstract

Discussions on moving the State Capital (IKN) in early 2019 became one of the hot topics in the country and media attention in Indonesia. Framing is the framing of information used by a media. The selection of the news portals Republika.co.id and Kompas.com is not without reason. kompas.com occupies the 9th position and Republika.co.id occupies the 34th position, included in the category of the top 50 sites in Indonesia. This research intends to identify the framing of national mass media coverage of the decision to move the State Capital (IKN) to Kalimantan. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, using the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki framing analysis model which has four analytical tools, namely syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. Data collection techniques in this research use techniques through primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted through observing online news texts on the media Republika.co.id and kompas.com by selecting 5 stories in each media for the period March to April 2022. Based on the data that has been found from 5 news stories in both media, there are each one news that does not meet the elements of completeness of the news. The comparison of framing in the information that sticks out by Republika.co.id and kompas.com is most often seen in the way the facts are presented and the selection of sources. The results of this study show that Republika.co.id constructs more of a government figure in following up on issues in the process of transferring IKN.

Abstract

Agrarian conflicts related to forest areas also occurred in Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, namely the Tes Lake Natural Tourism Park Forest area. Area designation Nature Tourism Park Lake Tes has an impact on the community because they cannot take care of certificates or the legality of land ownership in the area even though the community has lived there before the issuance of the zoning regulations Nature Tourism Park Tes Lake. This study aims to understand and explain conflict resolution Nature Tourism Park Tes Lake in perspective Face Negotation Theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type and is descriptive in nature. The results of this study found that the conflict actors Nature Tourism Park Tes Lake involves the community and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The conflict resolution is carried out by teamwork in the Agrarian Reform Task Force and analysed through Face Negotiation Theory. The team involved in conflict resolution Nature Tourism Park Lake of Tests did not practice evasion but had a sense of responsibility for resolving conflicts Nature Tourism Park Lake Tes, according to their respective duties, compromises and integrates with each other to resolve conflicts Nature Tourism Park Tes Lake.

Abstract

Based on the 2020 Population Census, birth rates by age group recorded an increase and dominance of the population aged 15 to 29 years. Based on generational classification, the majority of the dominant population falls into generation Z. Considering that generation Z is inseparable from technology and the internet, every development of information or the latest events of generation Z will continue to keep up with the times. This research aims to find out the role of Harianradarmukomuko.com media in meeting the information needs of generation z or millennials. This research uses qualitative research methods. The author focuses research on readers or audiences, especially in accessing information and the role of Harianradarmukomuko.com media as providing information for generation Z in Mukomuko Regency. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: 1) The role of Harianradarmukomuko.com media in fulfilling the information needs of generation Z in Mukomuko Regency. When people's information needs can be met well, the role of the media has been achieved and has become the media of choice for generation Z to fulfill their information needs. 2) As well as the satisfaction of generation Z in Mukomuko Regency with the information presented by the daily media Radar Mukomuko.com. Satisfaction is a condition where the desires and needs of generation Z in Mukomuko Regency can be met. Abstrak Berdasarkan Sensus Penduduk pada tahun 2020, angka kelahiran menurut kelompok umur mencatat adanya peningkatan dan dominasi penduduk dengan umur 15 hingga 29 tahun. Berdasarkan penggolongan generasi, sebagian besar dominasi penduduk masuk kedalam generasi Z. Mengingat generasi Z tidak terlepas dari teknologi dan internet, maka setiap perkembangan informasi atau peristiwa terbaru generasi Z akan terus mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran media Harianradarmukomuko.com dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi bagi generasi Z atau milenial. Penelitain ini menggunkan Metode Penelitian kualitatif penulis memfokuskan penelitian pada pembaca atau khalayak terutama di dalam mengakses informasi dan peran media Harianradarmukomuko.com sebagai pemenuhan informasi generasi Z di Kabupaten Mukomuko. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Peran media Harianradarmukomuko.com terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi bagi generasi Z di Kabupaten Mukomuko. Ketika kebutuhan informasi masyarakat dapat dipenuhi dengan baik maka peran media telah tercapai dan menjadi media pilihan generasi Z sebagai pemenuh kebutuhan informasi. 2) Serta dalam Kepuasan generasi Z di Kabupaten Mukomuko terhadap informasi yang disajikan oleh media Harian Radar Mukomuko.com. Kepuasan merupakan kondisi dimana keinginan dan kebutuhan dapat terpenuhi generasi Z di Kabupaten Mukomuko.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat melihat peluang promosi desa melalui video pendek, serta meningkatkan akun sosial media yang dikelola oleh Desa. Pengabdian ini mencoba untuk fokus pada potensi wisata religi di Desa Panca Mukti untuk dapat menjadi contoh implementasi bagi pengembangan potensi wisata lainnya dari desa ini. Pelaksanaan pengabdian berada di Pondok Pesantren Hafizd Nurul Quran dengan peserta perwakilan dari santri dan pengurus pondok pesantren Hafizd Nurul Quran, perangkat desa dan tokoh masyarakat Desa Panca Mukti. Materi disampaikan dalam workshop, melalui tiga sesi materi dan praktek. Selama pelaksanaan peserta menunjukkan antusias dan keinginan untuk  mengembangkan promosi potensi wisata desa melalui media sosial. Workshop ini telah menghasilkan 5 video pendek yang telah disebarkan melalui media sosial masing-masing dengan hastag #Wisatabengkulu #wisatabengkulutengah #PancaMukti #DesaWisata. Workshop Pembuatan Video Pendek sebagai Media Promosi Desa telah meningkatkan semangat masyarakat untuk melihat peluang promosi potensi desa yang semakin dipermudah lewat media sosial. Selain itu masyarakat dapat menyalurkan kreativitasnya dengan menggunakan smartphone dan media sosial untuk hal yang bermanfaat bagi promosi desa. The purpose of this community service is to help the community see village promotion opportunities through short videos, as well as improve social media accounts managed by the village. This service tries to focus on the potential of religious tourism in Panca Mukti Village to be an example of implementation for the development of other tourism potential from this village. The implementation of the service was at the Hafizd Nurul Quran Islamic Boarding School with participants representing students and administrators of the Hafizd Nurul Quran Islamic Boarding School, village officials and community leaders of Panca Mukti Village. The material is delivered in the workshop, through three sessions of material and practice. During the implementation, participants showed enthusiasm and desire to develop the promotion of village tourism potential through social media. This workshop has produced 5 short videos that have been disseminated through social media each with the hashtag #Wisatabengkulu #wisatabengkulutengah #PancaMukti #DesaWisata. The Short Video Making Workshop as a Village Promotion Media has increased community enthusiasm to see opportunities for promoting village potential which is increasingly facilitated through social media. In addition, the community can channel their creativity by using smartphones and social media for things that are beneficial for village promotion

Abstract

Syarah Bakery merupakan salah satu toko kue yang ada di Kota Bengkulu. Mereka melakukan strategi branding agar merek mereka lebih dikenal sebagai pusat oleh-oleh Bengkulu. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Duane E. Knapp yang disebut Doktrin Brand Strategy, adalah lima langkah pedoman tindakan merek tertulis untuk menciptakan perubahan paradigma merek dan mendapatkan keunggulan kompetitif yang terus menerus. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedoman branding Syarah Bakery berasal dari visi dan misi yang dimiliki owner. Pada tahap brand assessment Syarah Bakery telah menetapkan segmentasi, targeting, posisioning. Kelengkapan blue print hingga brand culturalization juga sudah mereka terapkan. Berinovasi menciptakan varian produk baru dan membuka cabang toko mereka lakukan dalam rangka melakukan brand advantage. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Syarah Bakery menyadari pentingnya melakukan branding untuk merek mereka untuk mencapai visi dan misi yang telah ditetapkan.
