Abstract

Katoba local culture is a tradition owned by the Muna ethnicity, both living in Muna and overseas. Katoba local culture is carried out by the overseas Muna community in Kendari City to strengthen children's Islam and provide ethical and moral education to children aged 7–11 years, both boys and girls. The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of ethics and moral education based on local katoba culture in the overseas Muna community in Kendari City. The method used in this study is a phenomenological approach. The analysis uses a cultural approach. The results showed that the local culture of katoba in the overseas Muna community in Kendari City carried out this tradition as a means of shaping the ethical and moral education of a child. Children are prepared to become individuals who have religious understanding, ethics, and good morals in the midst of society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Dalam Menghadapi Perbedaan Daya Serap Belajar Peserta Didik Di Smp Negeri 2 Pineleng”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru pendidikan agama Islam dan pendidikan agama Kristen dalam menghadapi perbedaan daya serap belajar peserta didik di smp negeri 2 Pineleng. (2) Untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan daya serap belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yaitu Kualtitatif. Adapun jenis dan sumber data penelitian adalah data primer yakni Kepala Sekolah, Guru Mata pelajaran PAI berjumlah 1 orang dan Guru PAK berjumlah 1 orang, dan Peserta didik kelas VIIIB beragama Islam berjumlah 5 orang dan Peserta didik beragama Kristen berjumlah 5 orang jadi keseluruhan peserta didik berjumlah 10 orang, dan data sekunder berupa dokumentasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengolahan data melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengatakan bahwa model pembelajaran yang digunakan Guru pendidikan agama Islam di SMP Negeri 2 Pineleng meliputi berbasis ceramah, Kooperatif, Inkuiri, Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pembelejaran berbasis proyek. Sedangkan guru pendidikan Agama Kristen menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis ceramah, berbasis masalah, kooperatif, inkuiri. Guru pendidikan Agama memiih model pembelajaran sesuai dengan tingkat daya serap belajar peserta didik, pengelompokkan peserta didik sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Adapun sebagian besar peserta didik beragama Islam di kelas VIIIB tergolong peserta didik yang cerdas dan sedang. Sedangkan sisanya tergolong peserta didik yang tingkat daya serapnya lambat. Begitupun peserta didik yang beragama Kristen, didominasi oleh peserta didik yang tergolong cerdas dan sebagian kecil peserta didik tergolong lambat. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi perbedaan daya serap belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Pineleng yakni faktor Minat, Motivasi, Kecerdasan, Lingkungan keluarga Lingkungan Belajar dan Media Pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh dalam daya serap belajar peserta didik.Kata kunci: Strategi, Model pembelajaran, Daya Serap, Guru, Peserta Didik

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan nilai- nilai moderasi beragama pada kalangan muda yang ada Malaysia. Nilai-nilai moderasi beragama merupakan satu elemen penting bangsa indonesia yang memungkinkan dibagikan kepada negara lain karena memiliki daya rekat terhadap persatuan dan keutuhan sebuah bangsa dan negara khususnya negara tetangga seperti Malaysia. Keseimbangan antara semangat kebangsaan dan kemerdekaan beragama yang merupakan inti dari moderasi beragama harus dijaga oleh seluruh komponen anak bangsa terlebih lagi di kalangan mahasiswa yang merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dibulan Agustus 2023, metode pelaksanaanya dengan menjabarkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang telah dianut lama di Indonesia melalui seminar. Peserta kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari mahasiswa UKM yang terpilih untuk menghadiri seminar. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini mampu memberikan penguatan nilai – nilai moderasi beragama bagi generasi muda di Malaysia agar memiliki peran aktif di masyarakat dalam menjaga perdamaian dan keutuhan bangsa.

Abstract

Merdeka belajar merupakan kebijakan untuk memberikan kesempatan bagi sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik untuk berinovasi, berimprovisasi, dan bernegosiasi untuk belajar secara bebas, mandiri dan kreatif. Kebijakan merdeka belajar pertama kali diterapkan secara nasional pada tahun 2021 untuk memberikan ruang gerak kepada lembaga pendidikan khususnya guru-guru untuk melakukan inovasi dalam melaksanakan proses pendidikan di sekolah. Merdeka belajar merupakan suatu kondisi yang memberikan kepercayaan penuh kepada pihak sekolah, khususnya guru dan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik dapat berkembang secara optimal di bawah bimbingan guru. Merdeka belajar merupakan terobosan untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang bebas dan menyenangkan, baik bagi peserta didik maupun para guru. Pelatihan implementasi kebijakan merdeka belajar ini, dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Luthfi Desa Lolanan Kecamatan Sangtombolang, Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Tujuan pelatihan implementasi merdeka belajar di pondok pesantren ini adalah memberikan bekal kemampuan secara paradigmatik kepada segenap unsur pondok pesantren al-luthfi serta keterampilan mengajar para guru di pondok pesantren terkait implementasi merdeka belajar pada satuan pendidikan dasar dan menengah, khususnya di pondok pesantren, serta meningkatkan motivasi guru di pondok pesantren dalam melaksanakan tugasnya dalam membangun paradigm pendidikan yang menyenangkan dalam rangka peningkatan mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren. Dengan demikian, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dengan judul “Upaya Peningkatan Kemampuan Guru Dalam Implementasi Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Di Pondok Pesantren Al-Luthfi Desa Lolanan Kecamatan Sangtombolang, Bolaang Mongondow” memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam implementasi kebijakan merdeka belajar serta para santri di lingkungan pondok pesantren.

Abstract

 Abstract This paper evaluates interfaith education in Indonesia through a case study of Interfidei's school program in Yogyakarta. Interfaith education is one of Indonesia's most common ways of addressing interfaith tensions. This qualitative research uses a comparative descriptive method with data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The research location is in Yogyakarta, observing the implementation of the Interfaith School at the Interfidei Foundation, Yogyakarta. Interfidei school is an excellent interfaith school in Indonesia. The form of interfaith education developed by Interfidei focuses on interfaith community activities and is booming with the interpersonal approach to reduce prejudice between participants. However, interreligious education focusing on interpersonal relations fails to bring about significant inter-religious understanding because it avoids discussing fundamental theological issues and differences. The results showed that theological and philosophical approaches are needed to bring about a profound change in interfaith knowledge in Indonesia rather than the current focus on interpersonal relations. Abstrak Tulisan ini mengevaluasi pendidikan lintas agama di Indonesia melalui studi kasus program sekolah Interfidei di Yogyakarta. Pendidikan lintas agama adalah salah satu cara paling umum di Indonesia untuk mengatasi ketegangan antar agama. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Yogyakarta, pada Sekolah Lintas Agama di Yayasan Interfidei. Sekolah Interfidei adalah sekolah unggulan antar-agama di Indonesia. Bentuk pendidikan lintas agama yang dikembangkan oleh Interfidei menitikberatkan pada kegiatan komunitas lintas agama dengan pendekatan interpersonal untuk mengurangi prasangka antar peserta. Namun, pendidikan antar-agama yang menitikberatkan pada relasi interpersonal menghasilkan pemahaman antar-agama yang signifikan karena menghindari pembahasan persoalan dan perbedaan teologis yang mendasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan teologis dan filosofis diperlukan untuk membawa perubahan mendalam dalam pengetahuan lintas agama di Indonesia daripada fokus hubungan interpersonal saat ini.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of a statistical pocketbook integrated with Islamic values and culture to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of statistics within a cultural and religious context. This research aims to develop a statistical pocket book that meets valid criteria. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development model used is ADDIE which consists of 5 development stages, namely: (1) analysis stage, (2) design stage, (3) development stage, (4) implementation stage, (5) evaluation stage. However, this development research only uses four stages, namely (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development and evaluation. This research was conducted at FTIK IAIN Manado. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and tests. Instruments were a marketing/content expert validation sheet and a media/design expert questionnaire validation sheet. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis, the results obtained were that the statistics pocket book integrated with Islamic values and culture met the valid criteria for use in statistics learning, seen from the assessment results for validation by content/material experts (85%) with very valid categories and media/design experts (91 %) is also in the very valid category, the average percentage of the practicality test is 91% in the very practical category. So, the Statistics pocketbook that has been developed is valid and practical for use in learning because it is integrated with Islamic values and culture.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the planning and implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in shaping the Pancasila student profile. Employing a qualitative research design with descriptive analysis, the subjects included curriculum vice principals, project teachers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity was ensured through technique and source triangulation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is at a developing stage, 1) Curriculum planning carried out at the start of the academic year 2022/2023 following a prepared workflow. The school extensively improvises government-provided guidelines in developing the operational curriculum and project modules to better meet student and industry needs. 2) The instructional approach at SMK PK Krian 2 is project-based, with the implementation of (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan Budaya Kerja: P5BK) using monthly blocks to replace intracurricular learning hours after (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah: MPLS) activities, covering five themes to achieve the six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. Assessment results show that students are progressing towards the goals set in the project modules, yet the full formation of the Pancasila student profile is not yet achieved due to the novelty of the projects. However, educators are optimistic that the Merdeka curriculum will foster changes in student attitudes and is most suitable for the school's conditions.

Abstract

This research uses a cultural studies approach to describe the construction of openness in the context of Muhammadiyah education. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis through qualitative methods. The results show that openness in the Muhammadiyah educational environment involves accepting students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds and practicing open dialogue and cooperation among all relevant parties. Additionally, this openness also includes acceptance of new ideas and values, recognition of differing perspectives, and the implementation of inclusive policies. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the development of openness in Muhammadiyah education from a cultural studies perspective and its impact in shaping an inclusive and responsive educational environment to cultural diversity.

Abstract

The tradition of grave pilgrimages has become integral to religious practice in the Indonesian Muslim community. A grave pilgrimage is an order in Islam because it can remind us of death, take lessons, live zuhuds, and encourage us to do better. Grave pilgrimage has become a routine in people's lives, including the grave pilgrimage at Kyai Modjo's grave to honor the services of his struggle against Dutch colonialists. This type of research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative study that aims to describe the meaning of grave pilgrimages for those who make a pilgrimage at the Kyai Modjo Tomb. Using the Hadith Study method, this research focuses on the study of hadith, using the Living Hadith Approach, which aims to understand the perception and meaning of the purpose of the practice of Grave Pilgrimage at the Kyai Modjo Tomb. The data collection involved interviews with academics, cultural experts, and religious leaders. The results of this study indicate that grave pilgrimages are a sunnah of the Prophet. Therefore, the grave pilgrimage tradition is part of the implementation of the arguments of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. This research shows the permissibility of performing grave pilgrimages, especially to Ulama, martyrs, and heroes, such as Kyai Modjo in Tondano, North Sulawesi. This research can be a reference, especially about grave pilgrimage with a Living Hadith approach, as well as the grave of Kyai Modjo can be a religious tourism in the future if managed properly.

Abstract

Students become very vulnerable groups dragged down by the flow of religious radicalism. The age is still very young and still unstable with a burning spirit, and longing to practice religion more kāffah (comprehensive) making young groups including Muslim students in high school will be the most vulnerable social groups infiltrated and targeted by radical groups preach religious understanding and attitudes that are rigid and tend to be superficial. On the other hand, religious liberalism at the same time has also begun to infiltrate some young people, including Muslim students in high school. So it is necessary, a strategy to instill moderate Islamic values into students by utilizing the teaching and learning activities of Islamic Education in the classroom. This is because the main actors who are perpetrators of violence, anarchistic actions in religious conflict with religious backgrounds are groups affiliated to Islam. So that inevitably, Islamic Education has moral and social responsibility to help find a way out.
