Abstract

Salah satu upaya pemerintah dan pendidikan tinggi untuk meningkatkan budaya dan ekosistem kewirausahaan adalah menciptkakan generasi muda yang kreatif dan inovatif. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan handcraft dan canva untuk membangun jiwa kewirausahaan pada siswa SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.  Adapun kegiatan PkM ini diikuti oleh 22 orang siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan keterampilan membuat aksesoris handcraft gelang dan keterampilan dalam memasarkan produk dengan menggunakan canva. Secara umum, kegiatan ini dilakukan dimulai dari tahap sosialisasi, pengumpulan data pre-test untuk menilai pengetahuan awal dan kesiapan berwirausaha, pelaksanaan pelatihan membuat handcraft, penyajian informasi cara membuat presentasi produk dengan canva, evaluasi dengan post-test. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data kuesioner dianalisis dengan uji beda diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan kedalaman pengetahuan dan kesiapan berwirausaha pada siswa, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai t-test = 31.072; p < 0.005. Selain itu, analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki semangat dalam melakukan inovasi dan memandang pentingnya sosial media agar lebih produktif. Pada akhirnya, kegiatan PkM ini memiliki nilai manfaat yang besar untuk membangun jiwa berwirausaha siswa melalui pelatihan ini. Implikasi kegaitan ini adalah melalui pelatihan dapat membangun jiwa kewirausahaan agar dapat membangun kreativitas dan minat berwirausaha semenjak dini

Abstract

Individuals with traits of hardiness believe that success is the result of both positive and negative life experiences. People who are highly motivated to achieve have a close relationship with intense dedication, reasonable control, and positive challenges. They are even willing to accept failure as part of the goal-setting process This study was conducted to explain the psychological characteristics of hardness and fear of failure that are predicted to determine the achievement motivation of adolescents whose mothers are employed. Participants were recruited anonymously and willingly from universities in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, Riau. After collecting and analyzing 280 questionnaires for outlier analysis, 188 were found valid for further study. Two stages of measurement were carried out; measuring was examined, and the structural model was deemed statistically significant. This study applied a quantitative methodology to the analysis of the path analysis mediation model. This study employs three measurement instruments and demographic data to address research issues. Dispositional Resilience Scale-15 (DRS-15), an action strategy to measure achievement motivation behavior personality, and the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI), a multidimensional assessment of cognitive-motivational-relational fear of failure, were used in this study to collect data. Path analysis from SmartPLS 3.2 was used to analyze the research data and determine the moderating and correlation values for the studied variables. This assessment indicates that fear of failure does not contribute to SMK students in Pekanbaru's toughness with success motivation. In contrast, the coefficient values for other factors indicate a positive contribution.

Abstract

Karyawan merupakan hal terpenting dalam organisasi. Menentukan keberhasilan organisasi manajemen harus memperhatikan karyawan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Karyawan yang memiliki kepuasan kerja yang baik dapat dilihat dari kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri yang baik pada karyawan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Garo. Penelitian ini melibatkan 136 karyawan, berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling yang diperoleh sebanyak 102. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala pengukuran kohesivitas kelompok, efikasi diri dan kepuasan kerja. Metode analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah Regresi. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut diketahui bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,120 (0,230, p ?0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan hipotesis pertama ditolak. Sebaliknya terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,289 (0,003, p ?0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan hipotesis kedua diterima. Begitu juga kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri terhadap kepuasan kerja, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan diketahui F = 6,081; p?0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis ketiga diterima dan ditemukan bahwa kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri menunjukkan kontribusi 10,9 persen terhadap kepuasan kerja. Oleh sebab itu, organisasi perlu lebih aktif memperhatikan kohesivitas kelompok dan efikasi diri secara bersama-sama untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan.

Abstract

Pulau Rupat, terutama wilayah Kecamatan Rupat Utara di Kabupaten Bengkalis, telah ditetapkan sebagai daerah yang akan dikembangkan menjadi destinasi wisata unggulan di Provinsi Riau. Dalam upaya mengembangkan ekosistem mangrove dan pantai Desa Tanjung Medang sebagai tujuan wisata, Kelompok Perempuan Pengelola Wisata (KPPW) Rupat Molek turut berpartisipasi. Namun, KPPW Rupat Molek menghadapi beberapa kendala dalam mengelola destinasi wisata ini, termasuk fakta bahwa informasi tentang destinasi wisata ini belum tersebar secara luas di platform promosi wisata online, dan belum ada pengelolaan yang efektif terkait aspek bisnis seperti penginapan, pilihan kuliner yang terbatas, dan kurangnya fasilitas rekreasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pendidikan kepada KPPW melalui teknologi Eco-edu Mangrove Tourism yang berlandaskan pada budaya Melayu lokal. Prosesnya mencakup persiapan awal, pembuatan materi promosi wisata, pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis, serta pemantauan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup materi promosi pariwisata seperti situs web, media sosial, dan buku panduan wisata mangrove. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta merespon materi pelatihan dengan sangat positif, dan mereka memahami dengan baik materi yang disampaikan oleh para pelatih. Harapannya, kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

The issue of married women who work as academic lecturers is important to be studied. They are demanded to preserve their independence and increase intellectuality which then may decrease when they have children. This study aimed to examine whether positive spillover can reduce work-family or family-work conflict so as to improve psychological well-being. The subjects, who were screened with a random sampling technique, were 429 female lecturers working in universities in Riau.  Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression. The result showed that respondents have low psychological well-being and better family-work positive spillover. Multiple regression analysis showed that family-work positive spillover and family-work conflict simultaneously influenced psychological well-being. Therefore, it can be concluded that female lecturers prioritize completing home tasks over others, which reduces their psychological well-being at the workplace.

Abstract

Female nurses face psychological stress due to their dual professional and personal roles. The role of family support in maintaining the mental health of healthcare workers has been highlighted in various studies. This study aims to examine the relationship between family social support and the mental well-being of female nurses in Pekanbaru, Riau. A quantitative design was used, involving 160 nurses in Pekanbaru, Riau. Mental well-being was measured using the 54-item MIDUS scale, while family social support was assessed using the 12-item ISEL scale. Data analysis using Spearman’s correlation showed a significant positive relationship between perceived family support and mental well-being (Rs = .166; p < .05). Analysis of variance further indicated that family social support significantly influences mental well-being, with a coefficient of determination of R² = .028. This means that family support accounts for approximately 2.8% of the variance in mental well-being. Although the contribution is relatively small, the findings reinforce that family support is an important factor in maintaining nurses’ mental health, especially in coping with work-related stress and emotional demands. Therefore, hospitals and related institutions should consider integrating family support aspects into strategies for improving nursing staff well-being.Keywords: Family, social support, mental well-being, female, nurses

Abstract

Machine learning has become an exciting topic in psychology-related research, one of which is counseling psychological readiness for entrepreneurship. An intelligent application developed using a machine learning model to assist the counseling process in measuring a person's psychological readiness for entrepreneurship. This application was generated using the Entrepreneurship Psychological Readiness (EPR) instrument. In this study, to get the most suitable machine learning model, a comparison of 2 (two) machine learning models, namely, Naïve Bayesian (NB) and k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN), involving 1095 training data. There are 4 (four) prediction classes recommended from the results of counseling: categories not ready for entrepreneurship, given training, guided, and prepared for entrepreneurship. The EPR instrument consists of 33 question items to measure 8 (eight) parameters used as inputs for the prediction process. The data has been randomized, and the experiment has been repeated 5 (five) times to check the consistency of performance of all techniques. 80% of the data was used as training data, and the other 20% was used as testing data. The results of the five (5) trials show that the Naïve Bayesian model provides the most consistent results in predicting a person's psychological readiness for entrepreneurship, with 89.58% accuracy, in testing. Therefore, the Naïve Bayesian model is recommended to be used in psychological counseling to predict a person's readiness for entrepreneurship

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan merupakan isu strategis yang berhubungan langsung dengan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya di daerah pedesaan yang rentan terhadap krisis pangan. Salah satu upaya untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan adalah memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya lokal seperti ubi kayu yang mudah ditanam sepanjang tahun. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di Kecamatan Kulim, Pekanbaru, Riau, melalui pelatihan produksi tepung ubi kayu termodifikasi atau mocaf (modified cassava flour). Pelatihan melibatkan lima KWT dan dua kelompok PKK dengan total 50 peserta perempuan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan, penyuluhan tentang manfaat dan proses produksi mocaf, praktik langsung pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi tepung mocaf, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta dari 53,7% sebelum pelatihan menjadi 81,25% setelah pelatihan, disertai antusiasme tinggi dalam praktik produksi. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga berpotensi memperkuat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga dan memberdayakan perempuan sebagai agen perubahan dalam pengembangan pangan lokal yang berkelanjutan di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

Educated unemployment in Indonesia has been alarming. To overcome the need to review psychologically besides physical steps taken. This study aims to describe and test psychological characteristics (achievement motivation and fear of failure) that affect university students' entrepreneurial intentions. This object research is 233 students at one of Pekanbaru universities, who were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The analysis used in this study is confirmatory factor analysis from MPlus from Harrington (2009) and Chi-Square analysis to test the significance of the estimated variables. The measuring instrument consists of 3 scales, namely the scale of entrepreneurial intentions, the scale of achievement motivation, and the scale of fear of failure. The analysis results show that there is an influence of achievement motivation and fear of failure on entrepreneurial intentions among university students. This research implies that academics always hold seminars and training related to psychoeducation in overcoming negative affective problems to reduce the fear of failure among students to become entrepreneurs.
