Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literature yang membahas tentang Art Therapy dan aplikasinya. Art Therapy merupakan salah satu bentuk terapi yang mulai banyak di gunakan saat ini. Art Therapy merupakan bentuk terapi yang melibatkan proses seni, seperti menggambar sebagai wujud simbolis dari hubungan teraupetik untuk membantu terapis memperoleh pemahaman diri maupun tekanan yang dialami oleh klien. Art Therapy memiliki karakteristik komunikasi non verbal, metafora sebagai sarana terapi, dan orientasi hubungan. Art Therapy mulai banyak diaplikasikan pada masalah klien dengan gangguan psikologis. Misalnya, penerapan Art Therapy pada anak berkebutuhan khusus, penerapan Art Therapy pada klien trauma, penerapan art terapi pada individu dengan agoraphobia, penerapan Art Therapy pada pasangan, penerapan serta Art Therapy pada gangguan kecemasan.

Abstract

Haze is a seasonal disaster that continues to recur in several parts of Indonesia. Mitigation as an effort to reduce risk needs to be done to anticipate more losses. Individual risk perceptions in assessing the impact of haze are considered as factors that influence mitigation efforts, however, mitigation is also related to external situations related to individual dependence on the authority that is more authorized in disaster situations, in this case, the medical authority. Trust in medical authorities is considered to mediate the relationship between risk perception and smoke haze mitigation. This study aims to look at the role of trust in medical authorities in helping individuals to perceive risk and seek mitigation. The research sample was 234 affected people, using purposive random sampling. Data were collected on three scales, mitigation scale, risk perception and trust of medical authorities. Research shows that the trust of medical authorities is not able to mediate the relationship between perceived risk and mitigation haze, but risk perception and trust in medical authorities simultaneously contribute to efforts to mitigate the smoke haze in Riau.

Abstract

Mitigation is the effort to reduce the impact of haze. This study was aimed to examine the relationship between risk perception and trust of authorities toward the mitigation effort of haze impact in Riau. Trust of authorities in this study included the government, military, police and medical authorities. For this aim, hypothesis have been tested using data collected from a sample of 256 people affected by haze which taken by using purposive sampling. Data were collected using three scales; the mitigation scale, the risk perception scale and the trust scale. This study found that risk perception and trust of authorities were simultaneously related to haze impact mitigation with R square 0,108. Risk perception may affect the mitigation effort. In this research can be found that the citizen mitigation tends to be low, this is caused by low public perception in rating the risk of haze impact in Riau. This study also found that the military and medical authorities correlated with haze mitigation effort; however the trust in the government and police authorities had no relationship with haze mitigation effort in Riau.

Abstract

This activity aims to assist and increase the knowledge of the children fostered by the orphanage in achieving a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, which is not limited to being free from disease or disability, especially during the new normal period related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this activity is in the form of health education using slide presentation tools. Participants were given material on physical, mental, and social health, as well as Covid-19 prevention behavior and continued with a question and answer session, where there was a knowledge questionnaire filled out before and after health education. The participants of the activity were 10 children fostered by the orphanage where the activity lasted for 90 minutes. Health assistance efforts are sufficient in achieving goals, as indicated by changes in the results of the pretest and posttest questionnaires, but improvements need to be made to further service activities, by combining health counseling methods with other relevant service methods.

Abstract

Program Adiwiyata adalah mewujudkan warga sekolah yang bertanggungjawab dalam upaya perlindungan dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup melalui tata kelola sekolah yang baik untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Seiring perkembangan waktu, beberapa pembaharuan serta penyesuaian kebijakan pendidikan lingkungan hidup secara nasional ikut mempengaruhi warna pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata. Program Adiwiyata terus disempurnakan, sehingga pada tahun 2019 Program Adiwiyata secara resmi diperbarui menjadi Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di sekolah, yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai Gerakan PBLHS. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk mendorong terjadinya aksi kolektif secara sadar, sukarela, berjejaring, dan berkelanjutan oleh sekolah/madrasah dalam menerapkan perilaku ramah lingkungan hidup. Metode ceramah dilakukan dengan memberikan materi pemahaman yang baik kepada sekolah terkait pengelolaan lingkungan hidup harus dipelajari dari tahapan pendidikan tingkat dasar sehingga membentuk pola pikir siswa nantinya menjadi siswa yang sadar dan peduli lingkungan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah terwujudnya gerakan PBLHS di sekolah dasar cendana rumbai dengan melakukan pendampingan melalui sosialisasi, bantuan akses informasi dan pemantauan serta evaluasi gerakan tersebut

Abstract

This activity aims to increase parental knowledge through psychoeducation on the stages of adolescent development, positive parenting and self-awareness. This is done to provide understanding to parents related to adolescent parenting based on their stages of development and to build parenting potential through self-knowledge. This activity was carried out for 3 days in the village of Teratak Manuk, Pelalawan Regency, with 10 participants, parents of teenagers. The hope is that with the provision of psychoeducational materials regarding parenting, parents can better understand the stages of development of their children, who in this case are in their teens, and can be a preventive measure to build family resilience in overcoming drug abuse.

Abstract

This community service was carried out at the inclusive school X in Pekanbaru involving all Children with Special Needs. Children with Special Needs or commonly called ABK is a term for children who have physical, mental, social, or emotional conditions that are different from children in general. The use of the "Smart Learning" method which is optimized for children with special needs in inclusive schools is urgently needed to facilitate learning. This service involves collaboration between research teams, inclusive teachers, and principal to design, develop, and test the effectiveness of adaptive learning models that use information and communication technology (ICT). This "Smart Learning" method is specifically adapted to facilitate an inclusive learning process, taking into account the learning needs and preferences of each student. The method is carried out with the stages of observation, implementation and evaluation by presenting pre and post test surveys to find out the effectiveness of learning. The results of the post test show that the application of "Smart Learning" to children with special needs in inclusive schools can increase their active participation, motivate and increase their academic achievement

Abstract

In recent years, bullying cases have been quite concerning. Bullying or bullying is very threatening to the mental state of children. Bullying is a repetitive negative behavior that is carried out consciously, usually carried out by a person or group of people who have more power than the victim. For this reason, it is important for educational institutions to prepare or design Peer Counseling training for their students to support students' mental quality and minimize bullying problems that arise among school youth. This program was carried out using the TOT (training of trainer) method with a total of 15 peer counselors. The scales used are the empathic listening and Mental Health scales. The implications of this program can be used as a reference and understanding for female students in efforts to prevent and minimize cases of bullying that occur among school students. By conducting peer counseling training and mental health seminars with the theme of bullying at school, students can actively practice what they have learned from the service program in the hope of being able to help the performance of guidance and counseling teachers at school.

Abstract

The times have changed the pattern of human behavior, including in the scope of the internet. Along with the development of digital technology, a new phenomenon has emerged that has attracted the attention of researchers, namely Internet Altruistic Behavior (IAB). Internet Altruistic Behavior (IAB) is a form of altruistic behavior that occurs online, where individuals provide assistance to others without expecting direct rewards. Unlimited internet access in digging up information causes risk perception to be very important. Risk perception is an individual's perspective in assessing and understanding the potential losses that may occur in a particular situation. It involves a subjective assessment of the level of that risk to them. Errors in risk perception can make individuals misjudge the level of safety that can affect their decision to participate in altruistic behavior. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The subjects in this study were individuals who actively use the internet with an age range of 17 years - 29 years with a total of 142 subjects. Data were collected using quota sampling technique. The results in this study indicate a significant negative relationship between risk perception and internet altruistic behavior. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a correlation coefficient of r = -0.542 with a significant p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These results indicate that the higher the risk perception, the lower the Internet altruistic behavior in individuals. Highlights: Negative Correlation – Higher risk perception is linked to lower Internet Altruistic Behavior (IAB), as individuals hesitate to help due to perceived risks. Role of Risk Perception – Misjudging online risks can impact decisions, leading to reduced participation in altruistic acts. Study Findings – Research on 142 internet users (ages 17-29) using quantitative methods confirms a significant negative relationship (r = -0.542, p = 0.000) between risk perception and IAB.
