Abstract

This paper describes the role of Islamic guidance and counseling to improve the morality of kid prisoners in the Probation and Parole Office (BAPAS) Class I Semarang. Initially, kid prisoners have low morals. However, having conducted Islamic guidance and counseling, the moral increased to be better. It was proven that Islamic guidance and counseling could help the kid prisoners restoring their spiritual mental and optimism in changing their behavior for the better moral quality. In addition, Islamic guidance and counseling has an important role to improve the kid prisoners’ moral in the Probation and Parole Office (BAPAS) Class I Semarang. Its activities are particular­ly focused on the consciousness reversion through the faith strength, confidence, acceptance, and patience. Furthermore, patience and gentleness of the mentors make the kid prisoners have more spirit and confidence to participate in the process of Islamic guidance and counseling activities._________________________________________________________Tulisan ini mendiskripsikan tentang peranan bimbingan dan konseling Islam dalam meningkatkan moralitas narapidana anak di BAPAS Kelas I Semarang. Pada awalnya narapidana anak memiliki moral yang ren­dah, tetapi setelah dilakukan kegiatan BKI moral menjadi me­ningkat. Bimbingan Konseling Islam membantu narapidana anak mengembali­kan mental spiritual, dan sikap optimisme dalam merubah perilaku mereka menjadi lebih baik, sehingga tercipta moral yang berkualitas. Bimbingan dan konseling Islam memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan moral narapidana anak di BAPAS Kelas I Semarang ter­utama merubah perilaku ke arah yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Kegiatan bimbingan konseling Islam lebih dikhususkan pada peng­ambilan kesadaran melalui kekuatan iman, keyakinan, penerimaan, dan kesabaran. Kesabaran dan kelembutan pembimbing menjadikan narapidana anak semakin semangat dan percaya diri dalam meng­ikuti proses bimbingan dan konseling Islam.

Abstract

This article is a result of research with the Developmental Research Approach with the aim to produce the Design of PPL based on KKNI of BPI FDK Department of UIN Walisongo Semarang. The research is devided into two steps, they are pre-development and development. Pre-development consist of the purpose formulating and begining study through need assessment. The development step is conducted by formulating PPL design based on need assessment result. The research restriction is producing prototype product as PPL design with the base of KKNI. The design has two products which has its excellence each. The description of design consists of; definition, purpose, target, time allocation and standard/ criterion. The result of the research is supposed to be the material and suggestion to BPI department in conducting PPL program. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan Developmental Research dengan model Borg and Gall yang bertujuan menghasilkan desain Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) berbasis KKNI pada Jurusan BPI FDK UIN Walisongo Semarang. Hal ini penting dilakukan mengingat adanya perubahan kurikulum 2010 yang berbasis KTSP menjadi kurikulum 2015 yang berbasis KKNI. Tahapan penelitian terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu pra pengembangan dan pengembangan. Tahap pra pengembangan meliputi perumusan tujuan dan studi pendahuluan melalui need assesment. Tahap pengembangan dilakukan dengan merancang desain PPL berdasarkan hasil need assesment. Pembatasan penelitian ini hanya sampai menghasilkan prototipe produk berupa Desain PPL berbasis KKNI. Desain yang dihasilkan ada dua bentuk, yang memiliki keunggulan masing-masing. Deskripsi desain meliputi; Definisi, Tujuan, Target, Alokasi Waktu, dan Standar/Kriteria. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai bahan dan masukan bagi Jurusan BPI dalam pelaksanaan program PPL.

Abstract

Revitalization of premarital guidance has been conducted by the Director-General of Islamic Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs since 2017. The program is a solution to high cases of divorce, child marriage, and domestic violence. The main priority of this program is implemented in districts/cities with high divorce rates. Semarang as the provincial capital could be a portrait representation of this program, let alone it is recorded as the city with the highest divorce rate in Central Java. The target for 2018-2019 could be achieved well and maximum. The COVID-19 pandemic brought its problems for the fulfillment of this targeted activity. This descriptive qualitative study illustrated how the implementation of pre-marital marriage guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Semarang. The results showed that the COVID-19 pandemic gave technical changes in implementing premarital guidance that should be under the health protocols such as reducing the number of participants for face-to-face premarital guidance, eliminating premarital guidance for teenagers, and improving independent premarital guidance. Also, there was a decrease in the target activity caused by the low number of marriage applicants.

Abstract

Higher education as one of the places where education is held is expected to always maintain its quality and quality. To see the quality or quality of higher education management can be assessed from two indicators, namely the fulfillment of quality standards and the achievement of customer satisfaction. Universities must be able to manage their service quality system and administration because if not, the trust of higher education users will decrease as well as the quality of students as one of the university's users, so that student satisfaction measurements need to be carried out regularly to be input and improvement for the university. Student satisfaction survey was conducted on aspects of academic and non-academic services at UIN Walisongo Semarang. Academic and academic service aspects are each measured by 8 indicators. This study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction with service quality after participating in the learning process at UIN Walisongo Semarang. This study uses a quantitative approach and survey methods. The population of this survey is all students of UIN Walisongo Semarang. The results of the assessment of the student satisfaction index on academic services are as follows: the highest satisfaction is on the online guardianship indicator with an index of 2.99 and the lowest satisfaction is on the online lecture system (E-learning) indicator with an index of 2.27. Meanwhile, the results of the satisfaction index assessment on non-academic services are as follows: the highest indicators are; Religious guidance services for students (3.01), while the lowest index is; Career guidance and job information services (Walisongo Career Center) (2.69). All satisfaction results show high satisfaction criteria.

Abstract

Quality assurance is one of the benchmarks that can be seen in assessing the quality of a university. All efforts that can be made related to the quality assurance process must be carried out starting from the level of study programs to tertiary institutions and a thorough evaluation not only related to the learning curriculum but also the human resources involved in it. One of the essential human resources involved in the learning process is educators. The optimal performance of educators will affect the whole teaching and learning process, and the implementation of these educators is strongly influenced by satisfaction with campus services. So, this study aims to analyze the satisfaction of education personnel with the services provided by the campus. Surveying educators carried out the data search process in the UIN Walisongo Semarang. Nine aspects are analyzed by the level of satisfaction by educators, namely 1) Recruitment and Selection, 2) Employee Orientation and Placement, 3) Training, Learning and Development Tasks, 4) Job Evaluation 5) Career Paths 6) Welfare 7) Attendance and Assignment System, 8) Termination and 9) Campus Facilities. The results of the analysis obtained are that the satisfaction of education personnel is at a moderate to a very high level with the aspect that shows the highest satisfaction in the achievement and assignment system variable (3.50) and the element that is at the lowest level of satisfaction is the welfare variable (3.14).

Abstract

Isu tentang bias gender telah merambah dalam berbagai seting, salah satunya konseling. Banyak persoalan yang dialami oleh individu yang terkait dengan bias gender tersebut baik di sektor domestik maupun public. Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengklasifikasi isu-isu gender apa saja yang terkait dalam konseling. Penelitian menggunakan metode telaah literatur dengan kriteria inklusi; artikel jurnal kategori original research, bereputasi minimal sinta 2 (untuk jurnal di Indonesia), dan jurnal terindeks scopus (Q1-Q3), terbit tahun 2016-2022, berbahasa Indonesia/Inggris. Berdasarkan screening dengan kriteria inklusi tersbut menghasil sejumlah 36 artikel jurnal yang sesuai dengan topik yang dipilih. Hasil telaah literatur menghasilkan bahwa isu-isu yang diusung dalam berbagai penelitian dapat diklasifikasi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu isu gender yang berhubungan dengan kondisi psikologis, dan isu gender yang berhubungan dengan kondisi sosial. Isu yang berhubungan dengan kondisi psikologis, seperti; respon perempuan dibanding laki-laki, sikap terapis terhadap kliennya, masalah pengendalian perilaku, sensitifitas, motif melakukan bunuh diri, tingkat kecemasan, kemampuan peta kognitif, dan lainnya. Sedangkan kondisi sosial seperti; kerentanan pengungsi perempuan, penggunaan jaringan komunikasi, perlindungan terhadap tindakan kekerasan, dan ketidaksetaraan gender. Hasil temuan tersebut bermanfaat dalam melakukan kajian dalam layanan konseling bagi klien yang mengalami permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan isu-isu bias gender.

Abstract

Fenomena aging population (peningkatan jumlah lansia) membutuhkan perhatian dan upaya yang sinergi dari berbagai pihak. Salah satu strategi yang tercantum dalam pasal 4 huruf b Perpres nomor 88 tahun 2021 tentang Strategi Nasional Kelanjutusiaan adalah peningkatan derajat kesehatan dan kualitas hidup lansia. Menjadi tua adalah keniscayaan, tetapi menjadi lansia yang memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik adalah pilihan dan hak setiap orang. Mindfulness telah banyak terbukti dapat memberikan efek pada kualitas hidup tetapi belum banyak diteliti untuk kalangan lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji berbagai hasil penelitian terkait dengan apakah ada efek mindfulness terhadap kualitas hidup pada lansia. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic review dengan menggunakan database PubMed, Science Direct dan Sage. Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam pencarian adalah mindfulness AND quality of life AND elderly. Artikel jurnal disaring menggunakan metode PRISMA. Berdasarkan telaah pada 7 artikel jurnal, hasil penelitian dapat dinyatakan bahwa intervensi yang melibatkan mindfulness memiliki efek yang positif terhadap kualitas hidup lansia. Kualitas hidup lansia dapat tercapai jika memiliki kesehatan fisik yang bagus yaitu tidak mengalami nyeri pada sakit yang dideritanya, dapat mlakukan pernafasan dengan baik dan memiliki kualitas tidur yang baik. Kualitas hidup akan meningkat jika tidak mengalami gejala depresi maupun kecemasan. Jenis mindfulness yang dapat memberikan efek terhadap kualitas hidup lansia adalah bukan mindfulness yang berdiri sendiri tetapi mindfulness yang sudah digabungkan dengan intervensi lain.

Abstract

Neurocounseling sangat perlu dihadirkan dalam suasana sekolah, dalam praktik bimbingan dan konseling sekolah, guna mencetak generasi penerus bangsa yang sehat mental dan memulihkan hubungan yang terjadi antara konselor sekolah dan siswa yang selama ini masih diwarnai ketakutan dan kecemasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kompetensi konselor dalam menerapkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling berbasis neurocounseling. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode literature review. Hasil penelitian jurnal dalam rentan waktu 6 tahun terakhir yaitu 2017-2022 dan didapatkan 2 artikel kompetensi konselor dalam menerapkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling berbasis neurocounseling di USA.

Abstract

One problem in the implementation of counseling in Indonesia is related to cultural bias. This is because counseling theories originally derive from theories based on Western cultural values. Indigenous counseling with a Sufistic approach is one way to address this cultural bias. This research aims to deeply explore counseling practices in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and the Sufistic values in their counseling services. The study is a qualitative-exploratory descriptive-research using a qualitative-ethnographic-interpretive approach. Data collection techniques involve participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings of this research indicate significant differences in characteristics between professional counseling (western) and counseling in pesantren, including inequality between counselors and clients (unequal relationship). Moreover, their relationship is likened to that of a father and son, appearing as a superior-inferior relationship. The Sufistic values applied in counseling services include humility (tawadu), obedience to the advice of the kyai as a counselor, limiting the principle of client confidentiality, and providing solutions directly through advice and religious prayers (wirid). Further research can be conducted to measure the effectiveness of Sufistic values in counseling services in pesantren.

Abstract

One aspect of university quality assurance is providing guidance and counseling services for students. Students are vulnerable to various problems while undergoing education in higher education. Resilience is one of the characters that is important for students to be able to survive and recover from various difficult situations and problems experienced. To increase resilience, appropriate treatment is needed along with a model as a reference. This study aims to develop a psychoeducational group service model based on Islamic Gratitude to improve student resilience. The research method uses Borg and Gall developmental research until the expert and practitioner validation stage and produces a prototype. The results of the research are the Islamic Gratitude Psychoeducational Group Model to Increase Student Resilience which integrates the stages of gratitude intervention developed by Bohlmajer and the values of gratitude in Islam which include syukr bil qalb, syukr bil lisan, and syukr bil hal, and contains the values of Iman, Islam, and Ihsan. Expert validation of the model shows that the model is feasible and can be used. Further research can conduct small group tests/experimental tests to measure the effectiveness of the developed model
