Advances in digital technology have driven significant transformations in guidance and counseling services, particularly in terms of service delivery media. This article aims to examine trends, innovations, and future directions in guidance and counseling media development using a traditional literature review approach. The literature was analyzed using descriptive-synthetic methods to map the evolution of guidance and counseling media from conventional formats to those based on digital technology and artificial intelligence. The results of the study indicate that guidance and counseling media has shifted from print media toward digital media that is more interactive, flexible, and technology-based. Innovations in guidance and counseling media have evolved across four main categories: print, audiovisual, digital, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Furthermore, the direction of guidance and counseling media development is moving toward the integration of AI, learning analytics, big data, immersive media, gamification, and mobile platforms that support data-driven and personalized services. These findings indicate that guidance and counseling media serve not only as a source of information but also as an adaptive and responsive intervention tool tailored to students’ needs. The implications of this study underscore the importance of strengthening counselors’ digital competencies, providing infrastructure support, and paying attention to the ethical use of technology in guidance and counseling services
