Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Pulubala. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap konsep PBL cukup baik secara teoretis, namun penerapannya masih terbatas pada aspek praktikal. Guru mengalami kendala dalam merancang skenario masalah yang menantang dan relevan. Di sisi lain, kelas yang menerapkan prinsip PBL secara konsisten menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, baik dari segi kognitif, afektif, maupun sosial. Namun, tantangan besar tetap ada, antara lain keterbatasan sumber daya, kesiapan guru dan siswa, serta kurangnya pelatihan dan pendampingan profesional. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan PBL sangat bergantung pada dukungan sistemik dan kesiapan individu pelaku pendidikan. Dibutuhkan intervensi yang lebih holistik untuk memperkuat kapasitas guru dan membangun ekosistem pembelajaran yang mendukung penerapan PBL secara optimal di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Principal's Role in Implementing Student Discipline at SDN 1 Limboto. This research uses a qualitative research type and uses a descriptive approach. The Principal’s Role in Implementing Student Discipline at SDN 1 Limboto is good. Indicators of school discipline include: having a record of attendance, giving awards to disciplined school members, having school rules, make school residents disciplined, and enforce the rules by providing fair sanctions for those who violate school rules. The role of the principal in implementing student discipline has been effective. The principal is sensitive to the environment, and can attend school every day so that can speak directly to all components of the school; the principal is a proactive leader.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of whole number subtraction material with borrowing technique through number bag media for grade III students of Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto Elementary School, Gorontalo Regency. The type of research used was classroom action research with 23 grade III students as research subjects. This study used techniques, namely interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were teacher activities, student activities, and learning outcomes of whole number subtraction material with borrowing technique. The research was conducted in two cycles, cycle I three meetings and cycle II three meetings with four stages, namely: planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The results of the study showed that in the initial observation there were 3 students with a percentage of 13% who had a passing grade and 20 students or 87% with an incomplete grade. Furthermore, in cycle I there was an increase to 14 students with a percentage of 61% with a passing grade. In cycle II, as many as 21 students had a passing grade with a percentage of 91%. The results achieved in cycle II have exceeded the established performance indicators. Thus, it can be concluded that through the number bag media, it can improve the learning outcomes of the material on reducing whole numbers with the borrowing technique of grade II students of Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto Elementary School, Gorontalo Regency.
