Abstract

Abstract

Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is the rupture of the membranes before delivery. PROM occurs at 37 weeks gestation or more and PPROM occurs before 37 weeks gestation. One of the risk factors for PROM is infection that begins with the entry of bacteria into the intraamnion from the ascending urogenital tract or infection of systemic origin. Elevated leukocyte levels are a sign of infection. This study aims to determine the difference between maternal leukocyte levels of PROM and PPROM. The research design used was descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling method. Data were analyzed using the Saphiro Wilk test for normality and the Independent Sample T Test to compare the difference in the mean of the two different groups. The results of the Saphiro Wilk test obtained values of 0.107 and 0.086, respectively (P>0.05), which means that the data is normally distributed. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of p=0.008. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the number of leukocytes between PROM and PPROM at the Sanjiwani Regional General Hospital, Gianyar.

Abstract

[The Relationship between Sleep Quality and Student Achievement Level of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University] Medical students have a higher prevalence rate of poor sleep quality than the rest of the student population. The existence of abnormal sleep times can be related to academic stress. Seeing the large influence of a person's sleep quality on academic achievement, it is therefore necessary to conduct a study that examines this condition in a more specific scope, such as at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and achievement levels of FKIK Warmadewa University students in 2019, 2020 and 2021. This research is an analytical study using a Cross Sectional Study design. Data collection was carried out using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. The data will then be analyzed using the SPSS application with the Spearman Rank correlation statistical test method. The results of the study illustrate that the quality of sleep in each class is dominated by poor sleep quality with details of 65.6% in the 2019 class, 75.4% in the 2020 class and 73.7% in the 2021 class. The student achievement level in the 2019 class is dominated by excellent indicators (56 .6%), class of 2020 with excellent indicators (60.8%), and class of 2021 with very good indicators (71.8%). The results of the correlation analysis stated that there was a significant positive correlation between the two variables in the 2019 class (r = 0.242; p<0.01), 2020 (r = 0.247; p<0.01), and 2021 (r = 0.216; p<0.01).

Abstract

[Student Perceptions of COME Learning in the Early 1000 Days of Life at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Warmadewa] Community Oriented Medical Education (COME) is an educational program with the aim of producing doctors who are able to serve the public at the primary, secondary and tertiary level health problems. COME 1000-HAK learning has been going on for a long time, but there has been no assessment of student perceptions of this program. Perception assessment is very important because it affects the success of implementing a program. The general objective of this study was to determine students' perceptions of COME 1000 HAK learning at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Warmadewa University. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a cross sectional research design using a survey method with a questionnaire. The population in this study were 2019 and 2020 FKIK UNWAR students with a total of 223 respondents (85.1%). Data was processed by univariate analysis. The results showed that 80% of respondents perceive the benefits aspect positively, the lecturer role aspect 84% perceive positively, the preparation aspect 71%, the implementation aspect the majority of 60% of respondents have a positive perception, and on the assessment aspect 67% of respondents have a positive perception. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of students on the aspects of benefits, the role of the lecturer, and the COME 1000-HAK learning mechanism are mostly positive.

Abstract

Anxiety levels during pregnancy can fluctuate as in the first trimester, anxiety begins to occur, then decreases in the second trimester, and increases again in the third trimester. Anxiety during pregnancy until the third trimester if not addressed immediately will have an impact on fetal growth and development, increase in MMR (Maternal Mortality Rate) and IMR (Infant Mortality Rate), can cause premature birth, low birth weight (LBW), old age labor, as well as mental and motor disorders of children. Anxiety due to pregnancy tends to often occur in primigravida due to pregnancy and childbirth because they have never experienced something similar. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between participation in pregnancy exercise and anxiety levels in third trimester primigravida mothers at IPM (Independent Practice Midwife) Widiasih, Batubulan region, Gianyar in the face of childbirth. This research uses analytical research method with cross sectional study design. Sampling in this study using accidental sampling technique and total sampling method. The sample consisted of 55 third trimester primigravida mothers who had met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data collection instrument used the HARS (Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety) questionnaire via the google form link. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results obtained in this study were that there was a relationship between participation in pregnancy exercise and the level of anxiety in third trimester primigravida mothers at BPM (Independent Practice Midwife) Widiasih, Batubulan, Gianyar
