Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the moderating role of Information Technology in the performance of Baitut Tamwil Muhammadiyah in Central Java, Indonesia. The target population was members of this Islamic Microfinance Institution. Data from 2015 to 2018 in the Central Java Sharia Office was used to obtain a sample size of 14 from 21 BTMs. Multiple Regression Analysis was then applied to analyze this data and explain the relationship between variables. The results showed that independent variables, including CAR, NPF, and BOPO ratios are positively correlated with ROA (Return on Assets) of BTM, except FDR. Information technology system moderation variables including FDR_SYSTEM and BOPO_SYSTEM significantly and positively affect ROA, while CAR_SYSTEM and NPF_SYSTEM are negatively correlated with the returns on total assets of the institution. In general, BTM should use I.T. for excellent performance and join academics and other stakeholders to increase awareness of the benefits of these computer-based systems in Islamic Microfinance institutions.

Abstract

Credit is one of the modern economic behaviors. In practice, credit can be either borrowing a certain amount of money or purchasing goods with a gradual payment process and within an agreed timeframe. Economic conditions that are less supportive and high community needs make people choose to buy goods with this credit process. Unfortunately the high needs sometimes are not in line with the ability to make payments in accordance with the initial agreement. Such condition causes the payment process to be disrupted or also called the term ”bad credit”. This research uses public data of credit card dataset from UCI repository and private data that is dataset of credit approval from local banking. The information gain algorithm is used to calculate the weights of each of the attributes. From the calculation results note that all attributes have different weights. This study resulted in the conclusion that not all data attributes inCuence the classification result. Suppose attribute A1 to UCI dataset as well as loan type attribute on local dataset that has information gain weight 0 (zero). The result of classification using K−Nearest Neighbors algorithm shows that there is an increase of 7.53% for UCI dataset and 3.26% for local dataset after feature selection on both datasets.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of influencer marketing on social media, with a focus on Instagram, by examining the impact of high-quality information and influencer credibility on consumer purchase intentions. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the research analyzes data from 216 respondents to assess the relationships between information quality, source credibility, sponsorship disclosure, information usefulness, and purchase intention. The findings reveal that high-quality information significantly influences information usefulness, which in turn, affects information adoption and ultimately impacts purchase intention. Notably, information adoption mediates the relationship between information usefulness and purchase intention, though its effect size is relatively modest. The results suggest that while sponsorship disclosure might influence perceptions, credible influencers who provide valuable content can effectively drive consumer engagement and purchasing decisions. Marketers are advised to collaborate with reputable influencers and ensure regular updates of high-quality content to maximize the impact on consumer behavior.

Abstract

Rice plays an important role in ensuring food security worldwide, especially in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. This study aims to determine the changes in paddy field area and spatial distribution of changes in 2019-2024 using Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing in Kuburaya Regency. The data used in this study include the area of paddy fields in Kubu Raya Regency in 2019-2024, an Indonesia Biomass Image, and a Topographic map. The data obtained were then processed using ArcGIS Pro software. Data analysis used a geoprocessing tool with the clip, Intersect, and Dissolve tools and Spatial Analysis using the Map Algebra Tool. The study results showed that overall changes in paddy field area from 2019-2023 were 9036,88 ha. Of the fourteen villages in the Teluk Pakedai sub-district, eight villages experienced an increase in area. The villages are Sungai Nibung, Kuala Karang, Seruat Satu, Tanjung Bunga, Teluk Pakedai Hulu, Madura, Sungai Nipah, and Teluk Pakedai Satu. Overall, the eight villages experienced an increase in the paddy field area of 578.94 ha or 21% of the total area in 2024. Two villages, namely Sungai Nibung and Kuala Karang experienced a 100% increase from 2019. The Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing provide convenience in monitoring and analyzing changes in land use, in this case, changes in the area of paddy fields. Therefore, in the future, this technology will be more effective in its use, because with this technology the data will be easy to update.

Abstract

2020 was the start of the toughest year for the world community in general, especially Indonesia in the health sector. The outbreak of the Covid-19 case in various regions requires clear and accurate information in efforts to deal with this pandemic. This study aims to spatially map the vulnerability of COVID-19 based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The method d used is a weighted overlay. The data used are population (P), population density (PD), elderly (EP), school students (SS), and hospital beds (HB). The analysis s used is a spatial analysis using ArcGIS 10.8. The results of the study show that North Pontianak District has a very high vulnerability to COVID-19. West Pontianak District and Pontianak City have high vulnerability. South and East Pontianak sub-districts have moderate vulnerability. For Pontianak Tenggara District, the level of vulnerability to COVID-19 is very low. The vulnerability to COVID is very low in Southeast Pontianak District because it has the smallest population, low density, few elderly people, few school-age children, and lots of hospital beds. An information system is an effective tool in conveying information on the spatial distribution of the level of vulnerability of Covid-19 in an area, so that steps and handling policies can be  taken according to existing priorities.

The establishment of modern judiciary begs the question whether modernity would serve just law properly or simply become another legal challenge for judges within the judiciary. The questions of the research formulated into how does IKAHI keeps the synergy between its member to communicate judges’ difficulties and how does IKAHI supports the idea of generalizing the perception of IT usage for judges in case trials. The role of the study would be beneficial in improving knowledge and application principle in IKAHI action. The result of the data shown positive aspect and proves the main theory and idea. The article is discussed in a deductive method. The main findings of the article is that modernization of court can only be achieved if the use of IT in court has been generalized so that there wouldn’t be contradiction or conflict through the use of electronic judgment templates and use of Google Meet for criminal court trials.
