Abstract

One business that engages in trading goods and services is PT. Madina Mitra Teknik. During the observations, Microsoft Excel was still used for manual invoice recording, even though the collection division had access to computer tools that may facilitate collection efforts. The goal of this research is to design an invoice-recording information system that can help manage existing invoices at PT. Madina Mitra Teknik in the collection section with development using the Laravel framework. Currently, no information system helps record invoices and their progress as they are issued and incoming payments, so the process of making reports takes time. The research process includes analysis, design, coding, and testing. The waterfall development method is employed. The output of this study is an invoice recording system, and the results of the black box testing show that every function has operated as intended. To ensure that the invoice recording information system is appropriate for use and implemented to support the invoice management process in the PT collection section, Madina Mitra Teknik conducted a portability test using three different browsers and found that all aspects of the system could be accessed without any issues.

Abstract

The implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) can be applied across various sectors in Indonesia, such as agriculture and healthcare, which demonstrate significant potential for utilizing this technology. To keep pace with technological trends, it is crucial to introduce the concept of IoT early in schools to spark students' interest in this field. This educational program aims to cultivate students' interest in IoT through presentations and live demonstrations using simple IoT-based tools. The event was held at Muhammadiyah Mlati Senior High School on July 27, 2024, involving 30 students. The method used was direct demonstrations of simple IoT tools, supported by effective communication between the educational team and the school. The results showed an improvement in students' understanding of the contextual use of IoT in daily life, with pre-test scores increasing from 53.5 to 78 in the post-test. In conclusion, this program successfully enhanced students' knowledge of IoT, and it is hoped that they will continue to understand its application in solving everyday problems while becoming more skilled in identifying issues and finding solutions using IoT-based technology in the future.

Abstract

Paser Department of Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Cryptography (Diskominfostaper) is a regional institution tasked to providing information on regional development and public service provider. Based on Kominfo regulation No. 4 of 2016, Diskominfostaper Paser district as a local government apparatus, requires implementation and supervision related to information security in order to safeguard all managed information. However, the current information security is still weak because there has never been an evaluation of information security either independently (self-assessment) or from an external party, as a results there are still attempts to hack the system and involvement of third parties without any formal contracts. In this research, an evaluation of information security was carried out at the Diskominfostaper Paser Regency using the Index KAMI 4.2 with the ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 standard to determine the level of information security readiness. The results of the evaluation were obtained with an overall final score of 220 and a final score in the Electronic System (SE) category of 30 which was included in "High" category, thus indicating that information security is currently in the "Inadequate" Preparedness Level status with a Maturity Level of level I to level II. As a result, 95dihasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan pada enam area penilaian Indeks KAMI 4.2 guna meningkatkan pemenuhan status Tingkat Kelengkapan dalam memenuhi Kerangka Dasar ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology is being used well by various sectors, one of which is the hotel services sector in the operational activities of a company. At XYZ Hotels, an accounting information system in the VHP (Visual Hotel Program) is used for recording processes, making payments, and predicting income receivables from Online Travel Agent (OTA) to be well managed. Problems sometimes occur in the procedures for recording and payment of OTA receivables, so there needs to be a plain and standard procedure to serve as a guide. Therefore, this research explains the procedure of OTA receivables with the Accounting Information System VHP (case study at XYZ Hotel). This research was started in January until May 2024 to explain the procedures for OTA receivables with the Accounting Information System VHP (case study at XYZ Hotels). This research used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, library research, and documentation. The results of this research are that the procedure for recording and payment of OTA receivables using the VHP has been running well because the system supports it and the website of the OTA makes it easy to reconcile or match data.

Abstract

The low level of students’ mathematical literacy in Indonesia, as indicated by the results of the Minimum Competency Assessment and various previous studies, highlights the need to improve the instructional models used in schools. This study examines the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of developing Information Literacy-Based Inquiry Learning. The development model used in this study is adapted from Plomp which consists of five phases: (1) the preliminary investigation phase, (2) the design phase, (3) the realization/construction phase, (4) the testing, evaluation, and revision phase, and (5) the implementation phase. The subjects in this study were 63 grade X high school students in Madiun district. Data collection techniques used in this study were validation sheets, response questionnaires, and students' mathematical literacy tests. The average score from the teaching module validation was 3.86, categorized as good, and all validators confirmed that the developed mathematical literacy test instrument was valid. In the trial, the average score from the student response questionnaire was 4.02, which was also in the good category. The average student's mathematical literacy score in this trial was 79.5. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of the model is valid, practical, and effective.
