Abstract

The world is entering industry 4.0. The digital enlarges to machine maintenance known as troubleshooting. Troubleshooting is a series of actions needed to deal with machine damage treatment. Problems that often occur in troubleshooting are that technicians are not in the location, the information is still in the form of printed books, the risk of books being lost, books slipping, and the location of books far from the location of machine failure. This research was to solve this problem by developing an application called Production Machine Troubleshooting Information System (SITMEP) in relational database environment. This system was developed by integrating several methods such as machine damage knowledge obtained from tacit sourced from mechanical technicians, experts in their fields and explicit knowledge sourced from machine manual books. GT is to combine knowledge with machine hierarchies and it supports systems for database and SQL. The tool used was MS Access with VBA.

Abstract

The Shewhart control chartexhibits limitations in detecting small process shifts and monitors the mean and variance separately. To address these shortcomings, this study introduces the Adaptive EWMA with Measurement Error (Covariate Method) and Auxiliary Information Max (AEWMA ME C AI Max) control chart. This novel approach integrates memory-based monitoring, joint mean-variance detection, measurement error correction through the covariate method, utilization of auxiliary variables, and adaptive adjustment mechanisms to enhance sensitivity across various shift magnitudes. The AEWMA ME C AI Max chart was applied to cement production data from PT XYZ, using Blaine fineness as an auxiliary variable for monitoring compressive strength. Comparative analysis demonstrates that the adaptive chart consistently produces control statistics closer to the upper control limit compared to the non-adaptive Max-EWMA ME C AI chart, validating its superior sensitivity in shiftdetection. Furthermore, the cement production process at PT XYZ was found to be statistically capable, with a lower capability index (Ppl) and process performance index (Ppk) of 1.45, indicating consistent compliance with lower specification limits and centered process performance. These results affirm the practical effectiveness of the AEWMA ME C AI Max chart in enhancing process monitoring and capability assessment in industrial applications.

Abstract

Innovation and creation of learning media must continue to be carried out by a teacher so that the learning process remains relevant to the times. Vlog is one of the effective contemporary learning media. This can be done through integrating the knowledge that develops in the local community and presenting it into learning media to make it easier to relate the concept of learning to life. The integration of knowledge that develops in the local community into the learning presented through vlogs is known as ethno-vlog. Currently, teachers in the field are not familiar with learning media in the form of ethno-vlogs. Socialization of ethno-vlogs is carried out to provide understanding and increase insight for partners regarding learning media in the form of vlogs that are integrated with the knowledge or culture of the local community known as ethnoscience. Based on the results of the posttest above, it is known that the partner already knows what ethnoscience, vlogs, ethno-vlogs, and how to make ethno-vlogs. After participating in the socialization, participants have learned the concept of reconstructing ethnoscience into the form of ethno-vlogs and participants have learned how to relate ethno-vlogs in a learning material and feel that this ethno-vlog socialization activity as a learning medium is very beneficial for participants. This can be seen from the results of the posttest questionnaire given, which obtained a score of 100% each. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest of the ethno-vlog socialization activity as a contemporary learning media integrated with local knowledge, it can be stated that this activity is successful and can increase insight and ability to plan learning media

Abstract

Enhancing Information Literacy Skills through the Think Talk Write Online Learning Model. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model which is carried out online on students' information literacy skills at the tertiary level. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted on students of Indonesia University of Education social studies program with a total of 250 people consisting of 125 people in the experimental group and 125 people in the control group. Findings: The results showed that Think, talk, and write activities have an impact on providing students with opportunities to read, process, and utilize various information. Conclusion: The conclusion is that the application of the TTW learning model has a higher effectiveness than the application of conventional learning models in terms of achieving student information literacy. Keywords: information literacy, think talk write, online learning.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202225

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology is directly proportional to global economic growth. This influences the symptoms that continue to increase in online purchases. A lot of buying interest arises from the influence of reviews on social media. Social media is now replacing the role of traditional word-of-mouth and introducing a new phenomenon, namely electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM). TikTok is a social media platform whose development is increasing from year to year with the presence of beauty content in it. ESQA Cosmetics is a local brand that is popular on social media platforms, especially on TikTok. This research aims to determine the influence of eWOM in the TikTok application on purchase interest in ESQA Cosmetics. This research collected data from 270 samples according to criteria via Google Form. PLS-SEM using SmartPLS was chosen in the research to carry out data analysis. This research also have two variable mediator that used to strengthen research. This research found that Information Quality and Information Credibility have a significant positive effect on Information Usefulness. Then the Usefulness of Information has a significant positive effect on Information Adoption. Furthermore, Information Adoption has a significant positive effect on Purchase Intention. This research can be useful for ESQA Cosmetics and other local brands in carrying out their marketing strategies.

Abstract

Needs analysis can be a valuable tool for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) lecturers to identify the primary requirements or needs of their students and to identify the areas in which their skills are deficient. The data for this study were gathered from a variety of sources, such as classroom observation protocols, questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews with English lecturers at Bina Sehat University PPNI Mojokerto. The data analysis results provide significant insights into the instruction of English for Information Technology courses. The investigation demonstrated that English for Information Technology courses prioritize receptive skills (i.e., reading and listening). Additionally, it has been reported that speaking, reading, and writing abilities are more essential than others. The data analysis is instrumental in identifying the most critical language duties within the context of informatics studies. Lastly, lecturers of English for Information Technology are requested to provide pertinent recommendations in order to enhance the content of the English for Information Technology curriculum that is taught to informatics students. The study concludes with implications for course designers and recommendations for future research, as a result of these findings.

Abstract

The effect of adoption of digital marketing, access to tourism information, environmental sustainability practices, and festival uniqueness on destination attractiveness and economic contribution in East Nusa Tenggara is analyzed in this study. Based on the use of a quantitative technique with a sample size of 180 respondents, feedback was obtained using a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). Results affirm that all four independent variables have significant effects on destination attractiveness, where festival uniqueness had the highest level of influence. In addition, destination attractiveness positively mediates the relationship between these variables and the economic impact, highlighting its role in enhancing the region's tourism industry. This study provides valuable insights for East Nusa Tenggara tourism stakeholders, providing practical recommendations to enhance destination attractiveness and maximize economic benefits through convergent digital marketing, environmental sustainability, festival uniqueness, and destination attractiveness.

Abstract

The study examines how Medical Laboratory Technology students at the National Health Sciences College perceive the spread of hoax information in the health sector through social media. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a survey method, the research involved random sampling from the student body at the National Health Sciences College of Surakarta. The sampling technique employed was stratified random sampling, resulting in a sample size of 100 students from the total population. Data collection was carried out via an online questionnaire distributed through Google Forms, using a closed format. Descriptive statistical analysis, including percentage analysis, mean, and median, was used to analyze the data. The findings reveal that most students in medical laboratory technology have a good understanding of hoax information and can differentiate it from legitimate news, with 75.3% of respondents being able to distinguish hoaxes from valid information. The majority of respondents are aware of hoax characteristics, such as chain messages and the absence of verification. While many students are not directly involved in spreading hoaxes, there is a growing awareness of their impact. Despite this, hoaxes continue to proliferate on social media, especially regarding health topics like Covid-19. Addressing hoaxes effectively requires a combination of institutional, technological, and informational literacy approaches to enhance public understanding and awareness of false news.

Abstract

Building the 864-unit housing complex was a significant construction undertaking. Within an implementation period of 18 months and a project area of approximately 34 hectares, this project demanded efficient management to control the time and budget that had been set. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to implement effective planning, organization, management and resource allocation processes. This process aims to break down project management into simpler tasks or activities, provide time estimates for each task, and continuously monitor their progress. Although conventional planning tools such as Primavera and Msproject can provide a time representation of the tasks to be performed, they are not yet able to provide spatial or geographic monitoring of these tasks within the scope of the project. By integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS), this project can gain additional benefits. GIS allows identifying data about the progress of construction tasks, and then presenting them in the form of maps. This not only visualizes overall progress graphically and geographically, but also makes it easy to extract useful summaries to support project decision making. With GIS, construction project monitoring not only becomes more efficient, but also more up-to-date and relevant to the scope of the project involving various dispersed structures. It is hoped that GIS integration can improve project management control and optimize the final results of the construction of the 864 housing complexes.

Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that often occur in various parts of the world, especially in flood-prone areas. Floods occur when water from rivers, lakes or seas overflows beyond its holding capacity. Floods can cause great damage to infrastructure, plants, animals and people. To overcome floods that occur frequently every year, it is necessary to map areas prone to flooding accurately and quickly using GIS which can be used to accurately monitor the location and area of ​​the area that is experiencing flooding. This study aims to analyze flood-prone areas and compile maps of flood-prone areas and describe the conditions of flood-prone areas in Bojonegoro Regency based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Data processed using GIS include: RBI Map of Bojonegoro Regency, River Map, Soil Type Map, Rainfall Data, Landsat Imagery Data, Flood incident data in Bojonegoro Regency. From the results of data processing, the results of the analysis are as follows: The level of flood-prone areas in Bojonegoro Regency is divided into 3 classes, namely: very vulnerable class of 49,963.671 Ha or around 21.66% of the sub-districts in Bojonegoro including the District: Margomulyo , Ngraho, Padangan, Kasiman, Malo, Purwosari, Trucuk, Kalitidu, Ngasem, Bojonegoro, Kapas, Dander, Balen, Kanor, Baureno, Sumberrejo, Kepohbaru and Gondang. The vulnerable class of 173,162.171 Ha or around 75.05% is in sub-districts including: Margomulyo, Ngraho, Tambakrejo, Kedewan District, Malo, Trucuk, Sekar, Ngambon, Ngasem, Gondang, Bubulan, Dander, Temayang, Sugihwaras and Kedungadem. The non-prone class is 7,580.157 ha or 3.29% in the sub-districts including: Margomulyo, Ngraho, Tambakrejo, Kedewan, Malo, Trucuk, Sekar, Ngambon, Gondang, Temayang, Sugihwaras and Kedungadem. Areas that have a high level of vulnerability are around the Bengawan Solo River which crosses Bojonegoro Regency. This can be caused because the area around the Bengawan Solo River has a height of <25 m and frequent flooding from the upstream and tributaries of the Bengawan Solo River.
