Abstract

This study examines the influence of Green Innovation Strategic Orientation (GISO) and Digital Technology Implementation (DTI) on Green Competitive Advantage (GCA) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Madura, focusing on the mediating role of Green Information Proactiveness, Transparency, and Formality. The study aims to address the challenges faced by MSMEs in adopting green innovation and digital technologies, particularly in Sampang and Sumenep, where digital literacy and environmental transparency remain low. A quantitative approach was employed, using a structured questionnaire distributed to 493 MSME managers in Sampang and Sumenep. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software to assess direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that both GISO and DTI significantly enhance GCA, with Green Information Proactiveness, Transparency, and Formality mediating these relationships. This study contributes to understanding how the integration of green strategies and digital technology can strengthen MSMEs’ competitive advantage while addressing gaps in the literature on green information management. By integrating three dimensions of green information as mediators, this research provides a more comprehensive understanding of GISO and DTI’s contribution to GCA in MSMEs. This approach is particularly relevant for MSMEs in regions with limited access to advanced technology and green information systems. The study offers practical implications for policymakers and MSME managers by emphasizing the importance of fostering green innovation and digital transformation. Future research is recommended to explore the role of external stakeholders and more advanced technologies in further enhancing sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

Indonesia possesses a rich diversity of regional languages and literature, including 718 recorded languages and 965 literary works nationally. Jambi Province, with its seven local languages and abundant oral traditions, requires more effective preservation efforts. Currently, available information is limited to static physical maps that are difficult to access. This study aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System to digitally, interactively, and flexibly map the distribution of languages, literature, and scripts in Jambi. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with an Incremental model, allowing for gradual development and continuous adjustments. The primary focus was on back-end development, including the database, business logic, and server. Functional testing was conducted using black-box testing, while non-functional performance evaluation was carried out through load testing using k6 on the main features, simulating 50 Virtual Users (VUs). Test results indicated that the system was stable and responsive, with a 0.00% failure rate, average response times of 59.08–68.74 ms, and a P95 not exceeding 106 ms. The system was developed in two increments: a general user interface and an administrator dashboard, enabling efficient management of language, literature, script, announcement, and feedback data. The implementation of this digital platform enhances information accessibility, supports the Language Office of Jambi Province in data dissemination, and contributes to the preservation of regional cultural heritage for the public and researchers.

Abstract

This study addresses the need for an interactive digital platform to support the preservation of linguistic and literary data in Jambi Province. Existing platforms developed by Balai Bahasa Provinsi Jambi provide textual information only and lack spatial visualization, limiting users’ ability to explore linguistic distributions. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are suitable for linguistic documentation because dialect boundaries and speech communities are strongly related to geographic regions. This study aims to design and develop a front-end GIS interface for mapping linguistic and literary data using the Incremental Model and to evaluate its functional performance through Black-Box Testing. The system was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the Laravel Blade templating engine, and the Leaflet library for interactive map visualization. The Incremental Model supported iterative development, allowing core features map visualization, search and filter functions, and detailed information pages to be refined based on continuous feedback. Data from Balai Bahasa Provinsi Jambi, including language names, literary descriptions, documentation files, and geographic coordinates, were used as input. The results show that the system meets all functional requirements, achieving a 100% success rate across 11 Black-Box test scenarios, and providing real-time response capabilities for search and filter functions. These technical outcomes demonstrate that incremental front-end development is effective for building modular and interactive GIS interfaces. This study contributes to digital cultural preservation efforts and provides a foundation for future GIS-based linguistic mapping initiatives, while further research is needed to enhance backend integration, expand datasets, and evaluate system performance at scale.

Abstract

The BISMA application is a web-based information system adopted by Jambi University to manage the submission, review, and reporting processes for research and community service activities. As a mandatory system implemented since 2024, it is essential to evaluate its level of success and user acceptance to ensure that the system effectively supports academic and administrative needs. This study aims to assess the success of BISMA using the DeLone and McLean IS Success Model, which comprises six key constructs: System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, and Net Benefit. This model was selected because it provides a comprehensive framework for examining system performance, information effectiveness, and the resulting impact on user satisfaction and organizational benefits. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents consisting of lecturers and internal BISMA users. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the relationships among the model’s constructs. The findings indicate that Information Quality and User Satisfaction significantly influence system use and perceived net benefits, suggesting that accurate, relevant, and timely information plays a crucial role in enhancing the value of the system. Conversely, System Quality and Service Quality were found to have no significant effect on user satisfaction, indicating the need for improvements in system reliability, responsiveness, and technical support. Overall, BISMA is considered to provide satisfactory benefits in supporting research and community service management; however, enhancements in service quality and system stability are still required to optimize user experience and strengthen system effectiveness in the future.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program in Surabaya is a major government initiative designed to improve child nutrition and reduce hunger among schoolchildren from low-income families. Despite its importance, the program faces significant challenges of food loss and waste due to inefficiencies in transportation, storage, and demand matching. This study introduces a Smart MBG Cloud Platform and applies a linear programming model to optimize the program’s supply chain under two operational scenarios: a baseline system without Information Technology (IT) support and an IT-enhanced system integrating route optimization and digital inventory monitoring. Simulation results reveal substantial efficiency gains in the IT-integrated model. This study was conducted using a mixed-method approach involving samples from schools as beneficiaries and the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit as providers of free nutritious meals. Using simulation data from five kitchens and ten schools and conducting 50 stochastic replications, the IT-enhanced model achieved a 28% reduction in transportation cost and the total objective value declined by 22%, compared to without IT support scenario. These results demonstrate that incorporating digital route planning and inventory monitoring not only reduces operational expenses but also mitigates organic waste, ensuring fresher meal delivery and supporting sustainability targets. These improvements highlight the potential of digital tools to minimize inefficiencies, ensure fresher meal delivery, and strengthen the nutritional impact of the program. Beyond operational savings, the IT-based model contributes to reduced organic waste generation and aligns with broader sustainability goals. The findings provide empirical evidence that digital transformation can significantly enhance the performance of public food programs and offer practical insights for policymakers to replicate these strategies in similar urban initiatives.

Abstract

This research employs a mixed-methods design to analyze telemedicine adoption in rural Indonesia by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Information System Success Model (ISS), extended with digital literacy and usability. A quantitative survey of 314 respondents was complemented by in-depth interviews with 50 participants and demographic analysis using chi-square and logistic regression. The quantitative findings reveal that the primary adoption construct is Usability → Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) → Perceived Usefulness (PU) → Intention to Use (ITU) → Net Benefit (NB). Perceived usefulness emerged as the strongest predictor of both satisfaction and intention. Information Quality significantly influenced satisfaction, whereas System Quality did not, indicating that clear medical information outweighs technical system performance in shaping satisfaction. Similarly, usability directly did not affect PU but indirectly through PEOU, and digital literacy influenced PU but not PEOU. Demographic analysis confirmed that occupation was significant—students and healthcare workers acted as early adopters—while age and prior training were not, suggesting that adoption transcends generational boundaries due to the widespread penetration of the JKN Mobile platform. Qualitative insights enriched these findings by highlighting key barriers and enablers such as inconsistent interfaces, infrastructure limitations, privacy concerns, community-based socialization, and expectations for adaptive features like AI diagnostics and pharmacy integration. Overall, the research confirms that telemedicine adoption in rural Indonesia is shaped by the synergy of usability, digital literacy, information quality, and social context rather than by training or demographic variables alone.

Abstract

Photography learning in vocational high schools (SMK) with Visual Communication Design (DKV) expertise requires mastery of technical skills and visual creativity supported by a structured portfolio system. However, the management of students' photographic works is still not systematic and not integrated with learning, resulting in low motivation, limited collaboration, and minimal feedback. This study aims to develop a Google Sites-based Photography Portfolio Information System (SiPoKaF) and test its feasibility and effectiveness in improving vocational high school students' photography skills and creativity. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects involved 70 grade XI DKV students of SMK Negeri 1 Pringapus who were divided into experimental and control classes. The research instruments included a media and material expert validation questionnaire, an effectiveness questionnaire, and a photography skill and creativity test through a pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests, homogeneity tests, N-Gain calculations, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that SiPoKaF was very feasible to use with a media expert score of 4.75 and a material expert score of 4.4. The effectiveness test showed that the N-Gain value of the experimental class was 83.28%, higher than the control class, and the t-test showed a significant difference in learning outcomes after the treatment. This proves that SiPoKaF is effective in improving the photography skills and creativity of vocational high school students.
