Abstract

This study explores the influence of information quality, service quality, and perceived educational quality on the institutional image of Darunnajah University. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving students, lecturers, alumni, and administrative staff as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that perceived educational quality has the strongest influence on institutional image, followed by service quality and information quality. The research model explains 57.18% of the variance in institutional image, indicating that these three variables make a significant contribution to building the image of the university. The findings highlight the importance of integrating educational quality, service quality, and information quality in strengthening institutional reputation. Improving academic quality supported by professional services and the provision of accurate and transparent information can enhance public trust in the institution.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Regent Regulation Number 61 of 2019 Concerning Civil Servant Information System in the Regional Secretariat of Gorontalo Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Implementation of Regent Regulation Number 61 of 2019 Concerning Civil Servant Information System in the Regional Secretariat of Gorontalo Regency has been implemented well, this can be seen from the communication process through socialization activities about the Civil Servant Information System which are intensively carried out and supported by quite potential human resources, namely the average education level of employees who are bachelors (S1) and have a lot of work experience as seen from the length of service of employees and have been rotated in several fields of work. In addition, the results of the researcher's observations show that there are indeed some employees who are less disciplined and do not have a good work attitude, but when compared to the total number of employees, there are still more employees who have good attitudes and discipline time than some employees who are less disciplined.

Abstract

The extracurricular management information system aids educational institutions in efficiently managing extracurricular activities. These activities are vital for student development outside of the classroom. However, manual administration of extracurricular activities is time-consuming and challenging. In the digital age, extracurricular management information systems are necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing these activities. This study aims to create and involve an extracurricular management information system that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managing extracurricular activities in schools and educational institutions. This extracurricular management information system's construction employed a research technique encompassing needs analysis, system design, software development, implementation, and evaluation. During the needs analysis step, we conducted interviews with schools and educational institutions that have experience managing extracurricular activities. The interview results were used to design the system according to the user's needs. The findings of this analysis serve as a basis for developing suitable information systems. This research has developed software that utilizes cutting-edge technology to enable system access through various devices, such as PCs, cell phones, and tablets. In addition, we prioritize data security and user privacy during the development of this system. Implementing an extracurricular management information system has undergone testing in multiple schools and educational institutions. Evidence from the test results demonstrates that this method can enhance the effectiveness of overseeing extracurricular activities. The incorporation of cutting-edge technology enables users to access the system through various devices, including PCs, cellphones, and tablets, thereby enhancing user flexibility and accessibility. This system's implementation and testing have been limited to a small number of schools and educational institutions. An enormous scope is required to ensure the generalizability of the research outcomes.

Abstract

There is still space for improvement in the application and usage of technology and information in the sales business, as indicated by the significant percentage of clients who continue to make manual purchases. An example would be the present Sriwijaya Herbal Sin Cigarettes retailer. The Sin Cigarette Herbal Sriwijaya stockist shop employs a traditional sales system where consumers physically visit the shop to make purchases. This research aims to enhance consumer convenience by developing a sales information system for herbal cigarettes, enabling online access to sales. This study employs a descriptive research methodology and a waterfall system development approach. This approach involves sequential steps, including needs analysis, design, code production, testing, and support. Data collection from the users was followed by the design and development stage of the program, employing the PHP programming language for implementation. Subsequently, an evaluation was conducted on the functioning system. The outcome is a sales information system that is anticipated to possess the capability to process data into high-quality information efficiently, seamlessly integrate various components, and serve as a repository for data storage. With the existence of this sales information system for herbal cigarettes, the processing of sales data has been computerized automatically, enabling automated report generation. This study introduces an internet-based sales information system for the Sriwijaya Herbal Cigarette Stockist Shop. It replaces traditional sales procedures, expands market reach, streamlines report generation, provides comprehensive buyer information, and maximizes profitability. The innovation employs the waterfall system development methodology and the PHP programming language to enhance retail operations' effectiveness and efficiency. An inherent constraint of this study is the need for the online-based sales information system to address all challenges the Sriwijaya Herbal Cigarette Stockist Shop faces, including technological infrastructure and user proficiency issues. Reliable internet connectivity is crucial for the system's effectiveness, which may require improvements in certain regions. Additionally, employees and customers may require additional training to use the new systems proficiently, which should be considered in terms of time and resources for this research.

Abstract

Academic management activities are an essential part of the world of education related to the teaching and learning process. Currently, the academic information system at one MTs school in Bandung is still being done manually, such as recording student data, teacher data, subject data, scheduling data, and class data. However, this method is considered less effective because it is prone to damage or loss of data. This study aims to develop a system for data collection in teaching and learning activities. In developing the academic system, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, in which data collection is carried out through triangulation, data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization, emphasizing use cases. The programming language used to design and implement this academic information system is PHP with SSL, and the database used is MySQL. The results of this research can assist Curriculum officers and teachers in managing student data, teacher data, subject data, scheduling data, and class data more quickly and reduce the risk of data damage or loss.

Abstract

The Regional Secretariat of West Java Province (Setda Jabar) is a government agency within the local government environment in West Java Province. Along with the development of information technology, using technology such as computers and the internet in a government agency is very important to support work. There are times when devices and systems do not work correctly, such as internet disturbances and computer software and hardware problems handled by technicians. Technicians not only manage information technology infrastructure at the West Java Regional Secretariat but also manage information technology infrastructure in three (3) official houses. Technicians are also faced with an organizational structure with many bureaus and sections. There is yet to be a definite procedure in the complaint reporting process. There is no helpdesk system as a reporting medium. With the many bureaus, the number of information technology facilities served so that technicians find it difficult to determine the priority of the work that must be served first. Given these problems, a Decision Support System approach uses the Simple Additive Weight method by using determining criteria and weights. The criteria used include Work Units, Positions, Types of Complaints, and Official Notes. The system development method used is Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD). This system is expected to assist technicians in determining services that match their needs and situations.
